Calm Mind is one of Oricorio-G's primary options for breaking down defensive Pokemon and teams. A single boost will enable Oricorio-G to OHKO Pokemon such as Pyroar and Absol after Stealth Rock damage with Hurricane. Furthermore, Calm Mind's Special Defense boost lets it take strong attacks from Pokemon like Pyroar and Mesprit at +1 as well as Drampa and Alolan Exeggutor at +2 more easily. Hurricane is not Oricorio-G's most reliable STAB attack, but it offers the greatest amount of power as well as the best neutral coverage, heavily denting Fighting- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Gurdurr, Tangela, and Poliwrath. Roost is key to the nature of this set, as it provides longevity, and Oricorio-G can frequently find opportunities to use the move thanks to its offensive and defensive capabilities. The temporary loss of its Flying typing upon its use also helps to take on Hitmonchan's Ice Punch as well as shrug off Volt Switch from the likes of Lanturn or Eelektross more efficiently, especially when factoring potential Special Defense boosts from Calm Mind. Taunt helps to facilitate a stallbreaking role, as it shuts down defensive Pokemon that rely on status conditions and healing options like Audino, and Ferroseed. It can also be used to prevent Pokemon like Calm Mind Clefairy and Spiritomb and specific Trick Room and entry hazard setters such as Mesprit or and Weezing from being able to perform their roles. Revelation Dance can be an option over Taunt as a secondary STAB attack that deals much more significant damage to Pokemon like Aggron, Carracosta, Togedemaru, and Eelektross.

Set Details
========

With Dancer, Oricorio-G can function as one of the biggest deterrents to Lilligant and Bellossom by copying their Quiver Dance boosts and shrugging off any of their boosted hits with ease. Dancer can also copy Revelation Dance from opposing Oricorio, but this is far more situational, as Oricorio-G typically won't take these attacks well without Calm Mind boosts. Flyinium Z lets Oricorio-G use a 185-Base Power Supersonic Skystrike, allowing it to OHKO threats such as Spiritomb after a single Calm Mind boost with Stealth Rock damage while also having the potential to OHKO Skuntank after Stealth Rock damage without a boost. It also reduces the damage output from Knock Off, and with the perfect accuracy, it helps to mitigate Hurricane's unreliability. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet adds pressure to physical attackers by inflicting chip damage, and it can be an excellent option for punishing coverage options from Fighting-types such as Ice Punch from Hitmonchan and U-turn from Primeape. 88 Speed EVs with a Timid nature are essential to outspeed and ensure a favorable matchup against Adamant Skuntank, allowing Oricorio-G to fire off a powerful hit before it can use Crunch and create mind games with Sucker Punch. The remaining EVs are put into HP and Defense to increase Oricorio-G's physical bulk, allowing it to always take an Ice Punch from Hitmonchan after Stealth Rock as well as a Life Orb-boosted Sucker Punch from positive-natured Shiftry. The investment in bulk is also especially helpful in making Oricorio-G less susceptible to Pursuit.

Usage Tips
========

Because it fares very well against defensive teams, Oricorio-G should in on passive Pokemon such as Gourgeist-XL, Clefairy, Audino, and Weezing, where it can safely shut them down with Taunt and start racking up boosts with Calm Mind afterwards. It should watch out for the occasional Toxic from Clefairy and Audino when switching in, however. Against more offensive teams, where checks such as Togedemaru and Aurorus are more prevalent, Oricorio-G should prioritize setting up Calm Mind less until such foes have been removed from the field. Meanwhile, it should use its typing and invested bulk to take advantage of common Pokemon such as Hitmonchan, Gurdurr, and Lilligant. In matchups where Dark-types like Spiritomb and Skuntank may be used to check Oricorio-G, it should use this set's bulk to take advantage of them. It can comfortably take all of their attacks at a high enough amount of HP and either force Sucker Punch mind games with Roost or, in Spiritomb's case, set up Calm Mind against its weaker attacks. Oricorio-G's bulk and utility mean that it can easily afford to preserve its Z-Move until an ideal opportunity arises, being especially useful in posing an immediate threat to the aforementioned Dark-types and other Pokemon like Hitmonchan and Alolan Exeggutor. If using Rocky Helmet, however, Oricorio-G is best suited for taking advantage of physical attackers that can't threaten it well to get off safe chip damage. Also be wary that Gurdurr can OHKO Rocky Helmet variants at +1 after Stealth Rock damage.

Team Options
========

Oricorio-G functions as a major player for balance and bulky offensive teams in need of a wallbreaker, a reliable spinblocker, and a bulky stallbreaker that can also liberally check Pokemon that threaten bulkier teams, such as Gurdurr, Lurantis, and Lilligant. Ferroseed, Regirock, and defensive Carracosta not only appreciate these threats being addressed but also offer Spikes and Stealth Rock support. They're also good at checking some problematic threats such as Togedemaru, Regirock, Aggron, and Alolan Sandslash. In a similar vein, Weezing offers Toxic Spikes to help Oricorio-G outlast checks like Regirock and Lanturn by wearing them down, and Weezing is also adept at checking physical attackers such as Skuntank and crippling them with Will-O-Wisp. Oricorio-G's weakness to Stealth Rock can hinder its effectiveness at performing its roles, so it appreciates being paired with entry hazard removers like Hitmonchan and Skuntank. Hitmonchan can also check Pokemon like Eelektross and Aurorus, while Skuntank can Pursuit trap faster Ghost-types like Haunter and Silvally-Ghost, and both can serve as strong checks to Dark-types. In return, Oricorio-G deals with their defensive answers like Weezing. Setup sweepers and cleaners such as Lycanroc, non-Substitute Kingler, Combusken, and Lilligant appreciate the wallbreaking prowess that Oricorio-G provides, as well as its ability to dismantle stall teams, a playstyle that they otherwise often struggle to face. These Pokemon can also make up for Oricorio-G's lacking matchup against more offensive playstyles. Munchlax and Alolan Sandslash make good partners for Oricorio-G because it can beat the Fighting-types that they struggle with, and they are capable of checking Pokemon like Aurorus and Articuno in return. Oricorio-G can reliably check Lilligant, allowing for slower Choice Scarf users like Kabutops and Aurorus to be good teammates. Aurorus can outpace and achieve some surprise KOes against some fast offensive checks such as Shiftry and Alolan Dugtrio, which can subsequently open up opportunities for Oricorio-G to set up safely. Kabutops offers the roles of both spinner and revenge killer and can pressure Pokemon like Skuntank and Kangaskhan. Top-notch checks to Electric-type Pokemon such as Eelektross and Manectric are great teammates, as they often heavily pressure Oricorio-G, making Silvally-Dragon, Cradily, and Alolan Exeggutor great options. In return, these Pokemon all appreciate Oricorio-G's ability to break down Pokemon like Clefairy and Type: Null easily. Finally, Mesprit is a multilayered option for how it pairs with Oricorio-G, as Oricorio-G's ability to reliably check Fighting-type Pokemon allows for Mesprit to run some of its more diverse sets, which can promote unpredictability within the team. Furthermore, Oricorio-G appreciates Mesprit's ability to help bring it in safely with U-turn, especially when most of Mesprit's offensive sets often tend to invite Pokemon like Musharna and Audino that Oricorio-G can take on much more effectively.

Alright this is ready for QC.

Also, I promised to address the popular spread of 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 Timid and why I've decided with a different spread. It's not a bad spread by any means, but the reasons for why I've decided to go with 248 HP / 172 Def / 88 Timid can be outlined well enough in set details. Basically, the amount of scenarios in which you would have a favorable matchup against Adamant Skuntank if you try to be faster increases drastically, especially when you consider the fact that this is still a very common nature and Skuntank's Adamant Sucker Punch never OHKOs Oricorio even after Stealth Rock damage, while Crunch can for both spreads. On the other side of things, Supersonic Skystrike always OHKOs after Stealth Rock and +1 Hurricane only requires a slight amount of chip after rocks to consistently do the same thing (after rocks it's just a 6.3% chance), and even outside of that, just being faster forces tons of 50-50 scenarios that even up the playing field when against it.

As for the difference in bulk on Oricorio's part, I've found the differences to be extremely nominal in terms of scenarios that could be relevant, and I also question the practicality of said scenarios. For instance:

252 Atk Primeape Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 200 Def Oricorio-Sensu on a critical hit: 294-348 (83.2 - 98.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Primeape Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 172 Def Oricorio-Sensu on a critical hit: 306-360 (86.6 - 101.9%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO

Primeape's Stone Edge can now potentially OHKO with a critical hit at a 12.5% chance.

252 Atk Life Orb Absol Knock Off vs. 248 HP / 200 Def Oricorio-Sensu: 289-343 (81.8 - 97.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Absol Knock Off vs. 248 HP / 172 Def Oricorio-Sensu: 299-354 (84.7 - 100.2%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

Needs absolute max roll to OHKO at full health against the 172 spread, which isn't super realistic. Sucker Punch is stronger, and both spreads are in potential OHKO range.

252+ Atk Life Orb Iron Fist Hitmonchan Ice Punch vs. 248 HP / 200 Def Oricorio-Sensu: 252-299 (71.3 - 84.7%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Life Orb Iron Fist Hitmonchan Ice Punch vs. 248 HP / 172 Def Oricorio-Sensu: 263-309 (74.5 - 87.5%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Both are pretty high chances after Stealth Rock damage, not to mention that if Oricorio switches into an Ice Punch and lives, Life Orb sets are faster so you'd lose in that scenario either way. Jolly variants? Same deal.

Meanwhile, both spreads will still comfortably take hits from Aguav Berry Spiritomb and take advantage of them.

Moves

  • Calm Mind is one of Oricorio-G's main options for functioning as a bulky wallbreaker as it boosts its power, while also allowing it to take more hits on its uninvested Special Defense. (i'd also specifically mention stallbreaker, as this set just shreds it thanks to cm+taunt)
  • Hurricane is not Oricorio-G's most reliable STAB of choice, but it offers the most amount of power while also granting it the best neutral coverage.
  • Flyinium Z gives Hurricane a one-time nuke and with its perfect accuracy, helps to mitigate Hurricane's unreliability. (this can just be mentioned in set details)
  • Roost is key to the nature of this set, as it allows for longevity. Oricorio-G can frequently find opportunities to Roost off prior damage thanks to the combination of its offensive presence, typing, and the invested bulk of this set. (on things like hitmonchan)
  • Taunt is a solid option for facilitating a stallbreaking role, as it shuts down defensive Pokemon that utilize status conditions and healing options like Audino, Gastrodon, and Ferroseed. It can also be used to prevent Pokemon like Calm Mind Clefairy, Spiritomb (if this is calm mind spiritomb then there should me no comma for clarity), or certain Trick Room and hazard users from being able to set up alongside it.
  • Revelation Dance can be used as a reliable STAB option that deals much greater damage to Pokemon like Aggron, Carracosta, and offers neutral coverage against Electric-type Pokemon like Togedemaru and Eelektross.
Set Details
========
  • With Dancer, Oricorio-G can function as one of the biggest deterrents to Lilligant and Bellossom by copying their Quiver Dance boosts and shrugging off any of their boosted hits with ease. Dancer can also copy Revelation Dance from opposing Oricorio followed by the move that was originally selected, but this is far more situational as Oricorio-G typically won't take these attacks well without Calm Mind boosts. (especially because the other viable oricorio form, oricorio-e, beats you 1v1)
  • Flyinium Z lets Oricorio-G use a strong and accurate nuke in Supersonic Skystrike at 185-Base Power, allowing it to OHKO threats such as Skuntank after Stealth Rock damage (i think you're confusing this with the offensive set, you have to be at +1 to always ohko and stealth rock doesn't even give you a 100% chance to ohko) and Spiritomb after a single boost with Stealth Rock damage. It also reduces the damage output from Knock Off.
  • Rocky Helmet adds pressure to physical attackers by inflicting chip damage
  • 88 Speed EVs with a Timid nature is important in outspeeding and ensuring a favorable matchup against Adamant Skuntank, allowing Oricorio-G to fire off a powerful hit before it can Crunch and create mind games against Sucker Punch.
  • The remaining EVs are put into HP and Defense to provide Oricorio-G's the bulk to take on physical attack, allowing it to always survive a Life Orb-boosted Sucker Punch from positive nature Shiftry (with or without stealth rock damage) and safely pivot into Hitmonchan to reliably spinblock. (can switch into an ice punch even after stealth rock)
Usage Tips
========
  • Thanks to faring very well against defensive teams, Oricorio-G should find opportunities to come in on passive Pokemon such as Gourgeist-XL, Clefairy, Audino, and Weezing, where it can safely shut down their utility options with Taunt and easily start racking up boosts with Calm Mind afterwards. (has to be careful of toxic from both clefairy and audino)
  • Against more offensive teams where checks such are more prevalent, bulky Oricorio-G should prioritize less on setting up Calm Mind until they are weakened. Meanwhile, it should use its typing and invested bulk to take advantage of common Pokemon such as Hitmonchan, Gurdurr, and Lilligant, where it can spinblock against Hitmonchan and otherwise sponge each of their attacks with relative ease and either safely Roost off damage or retaliate with its threatening STAB option.
  • In matchups where Dark-types like Spiritomb and Skuntank may be used to check Oricorio-G, it should use this set's increased bulk to take advantage of them, as it can comfortably live all of their attacks at a high enough amount of HP and force mind games by Roosting up against their predicted Sucker Punches. (pursuit from spiritomb does nothing to you so you're actually free to boost up against it with calm mind)
  • When choosing between Taunt and Revelation Dance, understand that the choice plays different roles against different archetypes. While Taunt offers it to function exceptionally well as a stallbreaker as it shuts down defensive Pokemon, Revelation Dance makes it much easier to soften checks like Togedemaru and Aurorus that are typically found in offensive teams. (meh, realistically aurorus is taking zero from revelation dance, along with things like eelektross, especially when unboosted)
  • Oricorio-G's bulk and utility in this set mean that it can easily afford to preserve its Z-move whenever an ideal opportunity arises, being especially useful in posing an immediate threat to the aforementioned Dark-types and other Pokemon like Hitmonchan and Exeggutor-Alola. If using Rocky Helmet, however, it's best used by taking advantage of physical attackers that can't threaten it well to get off safe chip damage. (by using rocky helmet you have to be more careful of knock off users like gurdurr, as switching into a +1 knock off can prove fatal, especially after stealth rock chip)
Team Options
========
  • Bulky Oricorio-G functions as a major player for balance and bulky offensive teams in need of a wallbreaker, reliable spinblocker, and a bulky win condition against stall teams, combined with its ability to liberally check Pokemon that can be threatening to the archetypes it fits in, such as Gurdurr, Lurantis, and Lilligant. (yup)
  • Ferroseed, Regirock, and Defensive Carracosta not only appreciate these threats being adequately addressed, but they also offer a type of support that goes well with Oricorio-G's playstyle in Spikes and Stealth Rock, given its ability to force switches and prevent recovery with Taunt. They're also good at checking some problematic threats such as Togedemaru, Lanturn, Aggron, and Sandslash-Alola (alolan sandslash), respectively. (really, none of those properly "check" lanturn. hidden power fire is the most popular hidden power meaning that not even ferroseed wants to switch in on it) (ferroseed is good because it checks regirock, physical skuntank, and even togedemaru)
  • In a similar vein, Weezing offers Toxic Spikes to wear down opposing Pokemon, while also being adept at checking similar physical threats and providing Will-O-Wisp to soften up physical attackers.
  • Oricorio-G's weakness to Stealth Rock can hinder its effectiveness at performing its roles, so Pokemon like Hitmonchan and Skuntank are pretty adept for this role, while also offering good checks to strong Dark-types like Shiftry and Absol (i would just say checks, good checks kinda stretches it a bit). Hitmonchan can also check Pokemon like Eelektross and Aurorus, while Skuntank can Pursuit trap faster Ghost-type Pokemon that can threaten it like Haunter and Silvally-Ghost, and both partners appreciate Oricorio's ability to deal with many of their defensive answers like Weezing and Gastrodon.
  • Set up sweepers and cleaners such as Lycanroc, Kingler, Combusken, and Lilligant appreciates the wallbreaking prowess that Oricorio-G provides, as well as its ability to dismantle stall teams, a playstyle that they otherwise often struggle with (sub kingler actually messes with stall heavily). They also balance out Oricorio's advantages against stall teams with their ability to function well against more offensive playstyles.
  • Given Oricorio-G's ability to liberally set up on and beat Fighting-types, this alleviates a lot of pressure for Pokemon that are weak to such threats, such as Munchlax and Sandslash-Alola (alolan sandslash). In return, these Pokemon solidly check threats like Aurorus and Articuno on Oricorio's behalf.
Looks good. QC 1/3.

Stuff to threaten Pokemon that wall it, such as Eelektross and Lanturn? You might also want to add which teams FatSensu would fit better on over Oricorio-Pompom with the same set.

They're also good at checking some problematic threats such as Togedemaru, Regirock, Aggron, and Alolan Sandslash, respectively.
  • In a similar vein, Weezing offers Toxic Spikes to wear down opposing Pokemon, while also being adept at checking similar physical threats and providing Will-O-Wisp to soften up physical attackers. Skuntank can also be mentioned here as its one of the main physical attackers that weezing can switch into whereas sensu can't.
  • Oricorio-G's weakness to Stealth Rock can hinder its effectiveness at performing its roles, so Pokemon like Hitmonchan and Skuntank are pretty adept for this role, (reword this part, idt it makes sense) while also offering checks to strong Dark-types like Shiftry and Absol.
  • Set up sweepers and cleaners such as Lycanroc, Kingler with sets lacking Substitute, Combusken, and Lilligant appreciate the wallbreaking prowess that Oricorio-G provides, as well as its ability to dismantle stall teams, a playstyle that they otherwise often struggle with. They also balance out Oricorio's advantages against stall teams with their ability to function well against more offensive playstyles.
  • Given Oricorio-G's ability to set up on and beat Fighting-types, this alleviates a lot of pressure for Pokemon that are weak to such threats, such as Munchlax and Alolan Sandslash. In return, these Pokemon solidly check threats like Aurorus and Articuno on Oricorio's behalf.
  • being able to check Lilligant allows for the use of slower scarfers such as aurorus and mesprit too.
  • u could also mention mesprit in a separate bullet point as i would say it is quite a notable teammate as mesprit appreciates sensu's ability to pivot in on u-turns and well as bulky sensu's ability to be a solid fighting check, which allows mesprit to run more diverse sets.
  • mention some mons like dragonvally and drampa who are usually good at taking on electric types like eel which sensu hates.

Calm Mind is one of Oricorio-G's primary options for breaking down defensive Pokemon and teams as it boosts its power, while also allowing it to take more hits from its uninvested Special Defense. A single boost will enable it to OHKO Pokemon such as Pyroar and Absol after Stealth Rock damage with Hurricane. Furthermore, the power reduction from special attackers towards Oricorio-G allow it to always survive a substantial substantial doesnt seem like the word u meant here hit from Choice Specs attackers such as Pyroar and Mesprit, and after a second boost it can stomach Choice Specs Draco Meteor from both Drampa and Exeggutor-Alola, allowing it to quickly recover off damage and force them out the following turn. Hurricane is not Oricorio-G's most reliable STAB of choice, but it offers the most amount of power while also granting it the best neutral coverage that heavily dents Fighting- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Gurdurr, Tangela, and Poliwrath plus it gets extra stronk w/flyinium. Roost is key to the nature of this set, as it allows for longevity. Oricorio-G can frequently find opportunities to Roost off prior damage thanks to the combination of its offensive presence, typing, and the invested bulk of this set that allows it to switch into Pokemon like Hitmonchan. The temporary loss of its Flying typing upon its use helps to take on Hitmonchan's Ice Punch, while also allowing it to shrug off Volt Switch from the likes of Lanturn or Eelektross more efficiently, especially when factoring potential Special Defense boosts from Calm Mind. Taunt helps to facilitate a stallbreaking role, as it shuts down defensive Pokemon that rely upon status conditions and healing options like Audino, Gastrodon, and Ferroseed. It can also be used to prevent Pokemon like Calm Mind Clefairy and Spiritomb, or specific Trick Room and hazard users such as Mesprit or Weezing from being able to set up alongside it. Revelation Dance can be an option over Taunt as a secondary STAB that deals much more significant damage to Pokemon like Aggron, Carracosta, and offers neutral coverage against Electric-type Pokemon like Togedemaru and Eelektross.

Set Details
========

With Dancer, Oricorio-G can function as one of the biggest deterrents to Lilligant and Bellossom by copying their Quiver Dance boosts and shrugging off any of their boosted hits with ease. Dancer can also copy Revelation Dance from opposing Oricorio followed by the move that was initially selected, but this is far more situational as Oricorio-G typically won't take these attacks well without Calm Mind boosts. Flyinium Z lets Oricorio-G use a strong nuke in Supersonic Skystrike at 185-Base Power, allowing it to OHKO threats such as Spiritomb after a single Calm Mind boost with Stealth Rock damage, while also having the potential to OHKO Skuntank after Stealth Rock damage if it is unboosted. It also reduces the damage output from Knock Off, and with the perfect accuracy, helps to mitigate Hurricane's unreliability. Rocky Helmet adds pressure to physical attackers by inflicting chip damage, and it can be an excellent option for punishing coverage options from Fighting-types such as Ice Punch from Hitmonchan or U-turn from Primeape. 88 Speed EVs with a Timid nature is essential in outspeeding and ensuring a favorable matchup against Adamant Skuntank, allowing Oricorio-G to fire off a powerful hit before it can Crunch and create mind games against Sucker Punch. The remaining EVs are put into HP and Defense to provide Oricorio-G's the bulk to take on physical attack, allowing it to always survive a Life Orb-boosted Sucker Punch from positive nature Shiftry and safely pivot into Hitmonchan to reliably spinblock, as it can switch into an Ice Punch even after Stealth Rock damage. The investment in bulk is also especially helpful in making Oricorio-G less susceptible to Pursuit eh idk if this is rly a point, if they catch u switching it's still gonna do way too much.

Usage Tips
========

Thanks to faring very well against defensive teams, Oricorio-G should find opportunities to come in on passive Pokemon such as Gourgeist-XL, Clefairy, Audino, and Weezing, where it can safely shut down their utility options with Taunt and start racking up boosts with Calm Mind afterwards. It should watch out for the occasional Toxic from Clefairy and Audino when switching in, however. Against more offensive teams where checks such as Togedemaru and Aurorus are more prevalent, Oricorio-G should prioritize less on setting up Calm Mind until they've been removed from the field. In matchups where Dark-types like Spiritomb and Skuntank may be used to check Oricorio-G, it should use this set's increased bulk to take advantage of them. It can comfortably live all of their attacks at a high enough amount of HP and either force mind games by Roosting up against their predicted Sucker Punches, or, in Spiritomb's case, set up Calm Mind against its weaker attacks. Oricorio-G's bulk and utility in this set mean that it can easily afford to preserve its Z-move whenever an ideal opportunity arises, being especially useful in posing an immediate threat to the aforementioned Dark-types and other Pokemon like Hitmonchan and Exeggutor-Alola. If using Rocky Helmet, however, it's best handled by taking advantage of physical attackers that can't threaten it well to get off safe chip damage. By using Rocky Helmet, you have to be more wary of Knock Off users, as Gurdurr can secure an OHKO after a Bulk Up boost with Stealth Rock damage.

Oricorio-G functions as a major player for balance and bulky offensive teams in need of a wallbreaker, reliable spinblocker, and a bulky win condition against stall teams, combined with its ability to liberally check Pokemon that can be threatening to the archetypes it fits in, such as Gurdurr, Lurantis, and Lilligant. The Toxic Spikes is especially pivotal in setting up for Oricorio to potentially outlast checks like Regirock and Lanturn. The ability to reliably check Lilligant allows for more flexibility for options regarding Choice Scarf users for Oricorio-G's teammates, freeing up options for Pokemon like Kabutops and Aurorus that can provide some excellent advantages. Aurorus can outpace and achieve some surprise KOes against some fast offensive checks such as Shiftry and Alolan Dugtrio, which can subsequently open up opportunities for Oricorio-G to set up safely. Kabutops offers a slot of hazard control and a revenge killer that can add pressure to Pokemon like Skuntank and Kangaskhan. this section is getting dangerously into too long territory (there is no objective marker or real reason, but who's gonna read this? It just makes the analysis less effective), and bits like going extra super in depth about other scarfer options are definitely where u could tone it down Top-notch checks to Electric-type Pokemon such as Eelektross and Mancetric are great to equip on a team as they often heavily pressure Oricorio-G, making Silvally-Dragon, Cradily, and Alolan Exeggutor great options. In return Pokemon all appreciate Oricorio-G's ability to break down Pokemon like Clefairy and Type: Null easily. Finally, Mesprit is a multilayered option for how it pairs with Oricorio-G, as its ability to reliably check Fighting-type Pokemon allows for Mesprit to run some of its more diverse sets which can promote unpredictability within the team. Furthermore, Oricorio-G appreciates its ability to help pivot in safely with U-turn, especially when most of Mesprit's offensive sets often tend to invite Pokemon like Musharna or Audino that Oricorio-G can take on much more effectively.

They're also good at checking some problematic threats such as Togedemaru, Regirock, Aggron, and Alolan Sandslash, (RC) respectively. In a similar vein, Weezing offers Toxic Spikes to wear down opposing Pokemon help Oricorio-G outlast checks like Regirock and Lanturn by wearing them down, while also being and Weezing is also adept at checking similar physical attacking threats, notably being a top response to Skuntank, and providing Will-O-Wisp to soften up physical attackers. Top-notch checks to Electric-type Pokemon such as Eelektross and Manectric are great to equip on a team teammates, as they often heavily pressure Oricorio-G, making Silvally-Dragon, Cradily, and Alolan Exeggutor great options. In return, these Pokemon all appreciate Oricorio-G's ability to break down Pokemon like Clefairy and Type: Null easily. Finally, Mesprit is a multilayered option for how it pairs with Oricorio-G, as Oricorio-G's ability to reliably check Fighting-type Pokemon allows for Mesprit to run some of its more diverse sets, (AC) which can promote unpredictability within the team. Furthermore, Oricorio-G appreciates Mesprit's ability to help pivot bring it in safely with U-turn, especially when most of Mesprit's offensive sets often tend to invite Pokemon like Musharna or and Audino that Oricorio-G can take on much more effectively.
