April 2018 - Voting Stage​

Rules:
- Vote for a metagame by liking the post (in this thread) that has its name on it.
- You may vote for as many metagames as you want.
- In order for your vote to count you must have at least five forum posts.
- If your account is less than one week old, your vote will not be counted.
- Do not try to influence other voters and do not bash any metagame. Asking people to vote for a metagame in the OM room may lead to moderation actions being taken from roomauth.
- The metagame with the most votes will receive a ladder on the main server of Pokemon Showdown for the month.*

(If you're unsure about any of these rules, post your issue in Simple Questions, Simple Answers)

Voting will close on March 31st.
*in the event that a meta is unable to be coded and/or implemented onto the PS! main server, the metagame with the second most votes will get a ladder instead.

May 2018 - Nomination Stage

Rules:
- Nominate a metagame by including its full name in your post.
- You may nominate up to five metagames.
- You may nominate the same metagame as someone else.
- The ten metagames with the most nominations will enter the voting stage.
- Doubles versions of metagames are permitted; however, if a Singles and Doubles format for an OM are within the top ten most nominated metagames, then only the one with the most votes will proceed.

- Do not nominate metagames from the blacklist (below), or those without a thread in the Gen 7 forum.
- If a metagame is blacklisted, its Singles/Doubles variant is too. There are no exceptions to this rule bar for ladders that already exist. 1v1 Doubles is also ineligible for obvious reasons.
- You may only post once. If you post more than once, none of your votes will be counted.
- Do not try to influence other voters and do not bash any metagame.
- You are not allowed to make any posts except to nominate.
- You must have at least five forum posts before your post.
- Your account must be at least one week old by the time of your post.
- If another user breaks these rules, let us take care of it.

If any of the above rules are broken, your post will be deleted. Continued rule breaking will result in an infraction.

- Mix and Mega
- Balanced Hackmons
- 1v1
- Almost Any Ability
- Camomons
- STABmons

Cooldown period:
- Inheritance (ineligible until June)
- Alphabet Cup (ineligible until June)
- Shared Power (ineligible until July)
- Middle Cup (ineligible until July)
- 2v2 Doubles (ineligible until August)
- Nature Swap (ineligible until August)
- Linked (ineligible until September)
- 350 Cup (ineligible until September)

Other:
- Closed/Retired OMs
- Any OM that uses nicknames or Import/Export
- Ubers/UU/LC Versions of Existing Other Metagames
- Pet Mods
- Previous generation OMs
- Fusions of two or more OMs
