So this is my first attempt at an OU team that I have beat my brother with quite a few times, but my friend challenged me to a battle so I would just like some help with critique. Just thought I would mention that we all play without legendaries, and I don't have wi-fi access, but I've tried to playtest against friends and such.
Gliscor@leftovers
Hyper Cutter
252 HP/40 Def/216 Spe
Jolly nature
-stealth rock
-taunt
-earthquake
-roost (u-turn?)
Pretty much like the lead gliscor in the site, with maxed out speed to try and taunt before some slower leads and put down stealth rock.
Umbreon@chople berry
Synchronize
252HP, 128Def, 128 SpD
Careful nature
-wish
-mean look
-baton pass
-pursuit
The team cleric, also good for BP mean look onto something that can easily set up on the trapped pokemon. Pursuit is their in case he gets taunted by a faster pokemon which is fairly likely due to his slow speed, in which case I'll just switch him out as quickly as possible unless I get trapped. I've found he works well with gliscor and gyarados because he draws out fighting pokemon that gyarados can set up on with mean look BP unless they have thunderpuch. He's pretty much the staple of my team, allowing me to trap pokemon then switch to counters and allow them to set up.
Gyarados@life orb
Intimidate
252Atk, 252SpE, 4HP
Jolly nature
-Dragon dance
-waterfall
-earthquake
-ice fang
Gyarados is the DD beast on this team, having umbreon set him up with mean look BP and allowing him to DD to +2 or even +3 if i can manage it. I have ice fang instead of taunt or stone edge because of the lack of ice moves on my team, and it's useful for taking out garchomps or flygons. Maximum speed without scarfing was the direction I took, mostly because his moveset allows him to DD then take on quite a few pokemon without him being forced out.
Infernape@life orb
Blaze
252 Atk, 252 SpE, 4HP
Jolly nature
-Close combat
-swords dance
-flare blitz
-U-turn
He's another physical sweeper, I plan on using him to break blissey and other special walls, and U-turn on anything he can't handle. I might get rid of something for mach punch but I can't decide what. Same as gyarados with jolly nature and SpE ev's for max speed without scarf. I'm not really worried about life orb and flare blitz recoil because I could pass wish off to him from umbreon, although he is still very frail so I might use leftovers instead.
Togekiss@leftovers
serene grace
192 HP / 80 SpA / 236 Spe
modest nature
-nasty plot
-air slash
-wish (thunderwave?)
-aura sphere
Decided to get rid of bronzong for a special sweeper, decided on this set but I might use a gengar or something else. I might get rid of wish and put thunderwave. Then just use him as a nasty plot paraflincher and rely on that first wish from umbreon and leftovers to keep him healthy.
Magnezone @ Leftovers
28 Atk/252 Sp. Atk 228 Spe
Modest Nature
-Thunderbolt
-Flash cannon
-Substitute
-Explosion
Right now I have him as a tank, with his resistances and substitute up he's fairly hard to take down, I've had the hardest time choosing his set, because everything other than T-bolt and thunderwave I'm a little unsure about. I was considering magnet rise but their are 3 guys on my team who are immune to ground, so it seems slightly unnecessary. I eventually opted for gyro ball instead of a wall because he could have trouble with ground pokemon and only having one attack that their immune to. I could also switch out something for explosion but I can't really decide.
So theirs my team, again I plan on using this against friends without legendaries, and I can't play online so if you would like to include things like that thank you but it's not necessary. Pretty much my team is based around BP mean look from umbreon to gyarados, gliscor or infernape so that they can set up or sweep. Bronzong and magnezone are their for support and sponge off some hits directed at my sweepers. I tried to make a type balanced team, with the weaknesses of pokemon mostly being covered by others so that they can all work together, like with gyarados and umbreon.
Alright thank you for your time :D
*edit, switched out bronzong and switched some of the sets and ev's that were suggested
