OU CCAT: Nidoking Edition

Why is Parashuffler Dragonite so high? Doesn't anyone realise it is a stupid set and achieves nothing?

Anyway, my vote goes to Kyurem.

I'm surprised that no one I wanted got enough votes. ._.

This really is a tough call, but in the end,

I would like to vote for Nidoking. There are certainly others on that list that have been forgotten, but Nidoking stands out the most to me as something that would be surprising. Perhaps I've been lurking in the wrong places, but I really don't remember seeing Nidoking on teams ever.

DD Scrafty: This thing is an absolute killing machine. Everybody that has trouble succeeding with this guy is just plain using it wrong. With 2 great abilities, Scrafty can either go on a snowball sweep, or have pseudo immunity to status. With its great bulk, you're really not going to be able to revenge kill the guy unless the move is like a STAB Close Combat or something. Fighting+Dark offer fantastic coverage, resisted only by Heracross and Toxicroak. After a DD, Scrafty can just shred teams apart single handedly. At +1/+1, Scrafty becomes incredibly difficult to take out. The only things that come to mind are Scarf Terrakion, Conkeldurr, and... that is honestly it. Pokemon such as Hippowdon can only temporarily check it, as Scrafty can come back out later in the match. Pokemon such as Skarmory and Virizion just plain don't want to eat a HJK. Once those two are gone, the only thing that can stop it really, is a High Jump Kick miss. I highly encourage everybody to try DD Scrafty out even if it does not get picked.

That being said, I would like to cast Vote 1 for DD Scrafty, Vote 2 for CB Metagross, and Vote 3 for MixMence. If possible, I would also like to cast a negative vote for Zoroark. Seriously guys, this is just embarrasing. Zoroark is an absolutely terrible Pokemon. Way too much needs to be put into designing a camouflage for this to actually work, I mean, you have to come up with a Pokemon neutral to Stealth Rock, weak to Spikes, and capable of using either Dark Pulse, Focus Blast, or Flamethrower, or Nasty Plot. This limits your choices to like what? Infernape. Simply having a Zoroark on a team is extremely hindering to teambuilding, and anybody who voted for this, give your head a shake.

For the reason in the first paragraph DD Scrafty

Nidoking

I have always wanted to use Nidoking ever since I found out it wasn't useless way back in Gen IV. Now I'll finally get a chance (Hopefully)!
