Hatterene (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 204 Def / 52 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psyshock
- Draining Kiss
- Mystical Fire
- Calm Mind

Hatterene has been seeing a lot of usage in OLT, and it's not hard to see why. Its good bulk and ability in Magic Bounce allow it to take advantage of entry hazard setters and utility Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and especially Toxapex, making it a threatening Calm Mind sweeper late-game. Psyshock is preferred over Psychic to overwhelm Blissey after a few boosts. Draining Kiss gives Hatterene useful recovery while allowing it to threaten Pokemon such as Dragapult and Urshifu-S. 52 Speed EVs let Hatterene outspeed Toxapex before it is able to use Haze. While Hatterene is able to threaten Steel-types such as Corviknight and Magnezone with Mystical Fire, it is still heavily pressured by them, especially offensively oriented ones like Aegislash, and Excadrill. Thus, checks to them such as Volcarona and Rotom-H are necessary partners for Hatterene. Pokemon that appreciate Hatterene's ability to deter entry hazards and status such as Kyurem, Hydreigon, and Urshifu-S make for good teammates as well.

Hatterene has been seeing a lot of usage in OLT, (AC) and it's not hard to see why, its why. Its good bulk and ability in Magic Bounce allows allow it to take advantage of hazard setters and utility Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and especially Toxapex, making it a threatening Calm Mind sweeper late-game. Psyshock is preferred over Psychic as its able to overwhelm Blissey after a few boosts. Draining Kiss gives Hatterene useful recovery while still being to highly allowing it to threaten Pokemon such as Dragapult and Urshifu-S. Mystical Fire allows it to hit Steel-types such as Excadrill, Corviknight, Skarmory and Ferrothorn. (This sentence works better a little bit later) 52 Speed EVs allows let Hatterene to outspeed Toxapex before it is able to use Haze. While Hatterene is able to threaten these Steel-types such as Corviknight, (insert other Steel-types that are not Skarmory or Ferrothorn, as you've mentioned them in an earlier sentence) with its coverage Mystical Fire, its it is still heavily threatened itself by them, especially offensively oriented ones like Aegislash, Magnezone, (AC) and Excadrill, so Excadrill. Thus, checks to them such as Volcarona and Rotom-H are necessary partners for it Hatterene. Also teammates Pokemon that appreciate Hatterene's ability to deter entry hazards and status such as Kyurem, Hydreigon, (AC) and Urshifu-S make for good teammates as well.
