This Tapu Fini set aims to sweep, but in a different way than other sets like CM Taunt. With Iron Defense + CM set up, not much can actually take this set down, and Stored Power with enough boosts can even let it break normal checks such as Ferrothorn or Toxapex. It can set up alongside things like CM Clefable, DD Dragapult, etc. and force them out while powering up Stored Power. Its natural traits let it set up on quite a few common mons like the slowtwins, non-taunt Heatran, Mandibuzz, Tyranitar, etc. and as it abuses those mons for set up fodder it only gets harder to revenge. If it can manage to get going with multiple boosts it can be incredibly difficult to handle, and against some defensive teams that struggle to break fini normally but can take on sets like Taunt with Ferrothorn, it can get quite out of hand. I think it may be best when paried with trappers like magma Heatran or Magnezone, enabilng its abilities further by baiting and removing some checks, although it still has the potential to just boost past some things anyway.

Wall of calcs here, these are some of the mu's it may seem to struggle in but with enough boosts it can manage to be a threat against a lot of them.

Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Reflect
- Light Screen

- Nature's Madness
- Brine
====================================================
Tapu Fini is a very bulky Pokemon, and this set aims to either bolster Tapu Fini's already high defenses or help in the setting up another Pokemon.
Nature's Madness provides chip, and Brine does 2x more damage when the target is under 50% health.

For Reflect:
Tapu Fini
252 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 168+ Def Tapu Fini through Reflect: 62-73 (18 - 21.2%) -- possible 5HKO

+2 252 Atk Life Orb Garchomp Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 168+ Def Tapu Fini through Reflect: 149-175 (43.3 - 50.8%) -- 5.1% chance to 2HKO

0 Atk Corviknight Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 168+ Def Tapu Fini through Reflect: 40-48 (11.6 - 13.9%) -- possible 8HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Barraskewda Liquidation vs. 252 HP / 168+ Def Tapu Fini in Rain through Reflect: 57-67 (16.5 - 19.4%) -- possible 6HKO

116 Atk Iron Fist Melmetal Double Iron Bash (2 hits) vs. 252 HP / 168+ Def Tapu Fini through Reflect: 80-96 (23.2 - 27.9%) -- approx. 79.3% chance to 4HKO

252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 168+ Def Tapu Fini in Rain on a critical hit: 147-174 (42.7 - 50.5%) -- approx. 0.4% chance to 2HKO

For Light Screen:
Tapu Fini
252 SpA Life Orb Latios Psychic vs. 252 HP / 88 SpD Tapu Fini through Light Screen: 71-84 (20.6 - 24.4%) -- guaranteed 5HKO

252 SpA Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 88 SpD Tapu Fini in Electric Terrain through Light Screen: 115-136 (33.4 - 39.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

0 SpA Tornadus-Therian Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 88 SpD Tapu Fini through Light Screen: 48-57 (13.9 - 16.5%) -- possible 7HKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 252 HP / 88 SpD Tapu Fini in Psychic Terrain through Light Screen: 106-126 (30.8 - 36.6%) -- 64.2% chance to 3HKO

+1 252 SpA Volcarona Psychic vs. 252 HP / 88 SpD Tapu Fini through Light Screen: 56-66 (16.2 - 19.1%) -- possible 6HKO

Many pokemon appreciate screens such as:
:ss/volcarona:, :ss/hawlucha:, and :ss/latias:
It helps them set-up Quiver Dance, Swords Dance, and Calm Mind respectively.

Nature's Madness can assist members of your team by providing 50% health chip damage. Mons like Kartana, Krookodile, and Blacephalon appreciates this extra chip damage for a better snowballing experience.
Brine works in tandem with Nature's Madness, given that the enemy doesn't have any ways of recovery.

This set is very fun to use, especially with set-up/snowball sweepers such as Volcarona, Hawlucha, and Kartana.

That's all for this submission. I apologize for the mess of calcs and sentences, I'm in a rush today, and I don't want to lose my reservation:psygrump:

Zoroark's Best Mate Telepathy Tapu Fini

The lack of Misty Surge here means that when Zoroark disguise itself as Tapu Fini. Trick is there not only to cripple something with a Scarf, but also Zoroark has access to this move as well so you maintain the bluff. Nature's Madness taking half-health out of something is always helpful; alternatively ridding an opponent of their item is helpful. Last two moves are STAB, but note that Scald will have its burn chance as there is no terrain. The EVs are as the standard utility Fini, except the Speed means that Fini can outspeed Dragapult & Zeraora with the Scarf.

Zoroark is able to cover grass-types for Fini with access to Fire Blast & Sludge Bomb, though it cannot take a Glide from Rillaboom. And for what its worth, as Fini has no terrain Fini can disguise itself as Zoroark.

General idea
I don't like Defog on Tapu Fini because it receives damage from all the hazards not named Toxic Spikes under Misty Terrain. Also, this pokemon needs Leftovers for recovery because it doesn't have reliable ways to recharge its own hp; this means that Fini can't really use HDB because the loss of recovery is huuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Scald is here to fish a 30% burn chance when Misty Terrain is not active. Nature's Madness doesn't require SpA EVs but cripples all the switchins.

Haze+Taunt in my opnion is one of the most broken combinations. Haze neuters set-up sweepers (such as SD on burned physical attackers or can emergency check a set-up sweeper unable to OHKO it) and generic buffs/debuffs, whereas Taunt blocks the annoying status moves not affected by the terrain.

The EVs spreas is stolen from the utility set.

Team(mates) support
This is only a support, so it needs teammates to make sense.
Your team needs another pokemon to use Defog/Rapid Spin but it isn't really hard because Defog was spammed everywhere ths generation.
In return, this Fini offers a well-rounded support crippling switch-ins in many possible ways.

While Fini’s physical attack isn’t its strongest suit, it’s true use is as a surprise. Everyone would expect a special Fini, so they might switch in a pokemon that doesn’t have good physical defence, like a blissey. Facade’s there because after your terrain ends, people may try to toxic Fini, and this punishes that.

No flame intended: I've tried to make this set work a lot, and sadly it's really bad because fini poses no threat until it's at +3, and even then you are walled to oblivion by common stuff. The stored powers are to weak. Klefki does this set better. Iron defense, without stored power, is very good though.

Scarf Icy Wind
:ss/tapu-fini:

Tapu Fini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Icy Wind

Despite being a big proponent of Scarf Fini, the 4th moveslot always felt very awkward to utilise well. Before Tricking away the Scarf, I rarely want to lock myself into Knock Off because the opponent can easily play around it by just not switching out. After Tricking away the Scarf, it feels almost counterintuitive to click Knock Off for obvious reason. And I'm not a fan of Defog on Choiced users either.

Then I decided to try Icy Wind. Just like Knock Off, Icy Wind punishes switches, but in a very different way as a move which you can spam liberally even after Tricking away the Scarf. Importantly, Scarf Fini already runs less EVs in bulk, and Icy Wind offers very crucial Speed control in situations after you lose your Scarf. For example, Tapu Koko switching in is outright KOed by the combination of Icy Wind into Hydro Pump, and Tornadus-T by the same combination in the Rain.

On top of that, the -1 Speed does a good job at making your team immune to being set-up if Fini were to be forced out. Kartana not gonna sweep a team with 232 Speed even if he gets a free SD. Garchomp being greedy with SD (knowing that Moonblast doesn't OHKO) gets KOed by Icy Wind into Moonblast before it gets to attack. Basically, anything that is switching into Fini trying to get "free momentum" loses a chunk of momentum before it gets to do anything.

Oh and if you are somehow already on the receiving end of a sweep, Fini is tanky enough where you can just sack it for a couple of speed drops for easier revenge killing.

Resttalk Tapu Fini

Rest solves what is Fini’s biggest problem imo: lack of recovery. Rest allows Fini to repeatedly switch in to attacks without having to worry about being worn down over the course of the match, while Sleep Talk ensures Fini isn’t setup fodder while asleep. It’s important to note that since Rest heals status as well, you don’t actually lose out on much by having to run Telepathy over Misty Surge. The above spread allows Fini to check Heatran, almost all variants of Dragapult, Scizor, Torn-T, Urshifu-R and Barraskewda even in rain, Dragonite, Hydreigon and also survive one hit from Nidoking or Specs Kyurem if necessary. Scald is the preferred water STAB to take advantage of the absence of Misty Terrain by allowing Fini to burn physical threats, while the last slot can be used for Toxic or Moonblast depending on the team. Toxic is nice since it allows Fini to cripple walls and setup sweepers, which it can’t usually do with Misty Terrain up, while Moonblast allows you to threaten Hawlucha, Urshifu-R and Dragon-types.

Calcs:
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 28+ SpD Tapu Fini: 117-138 (34 - 40.1%) -- 33.1% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 252 HP / 28+ SpD Tapu Fini: 270-318 (78.4 - 92.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Now I don't really play OU, but looking at Tapu Fini and the sets already submitted, this was the only thing I could think of in terms of being different. With Soak, stuff like Heatran and Toxapex aren't bonafide switchins thanks to Soak making them a pure Water type making them take a neutral Draining Kiss which Tapu Fini gets back more recovery hence more longevity. Combined with Taunt to shut down Toxapex from going for Haze and outspeeding Heatran to Taunt or Soak it first before it can potentially Taunt itself would also be beneficial as a solid wincon. I don't know about an optimal EV spread, just went max speed Timid to speed tie Nidoking to Soak it before it can get a STAB Sludge Wave off (niche but hey it means Regieleki can Volt Switch on a Ground-type at least.)

This set works like Torment Heatran from older generations. Due to Tapu Fini's great defensive typing, many Pokemon only run one move to hit it neutrally, such as Rillaboom, many Kartana, Volcarona, Dragapult, Tornadus-T and Hydreigon, so you can stall out their attacks with Protect and Substitute as they can only damage it every second turn. Torment also makes Choice-locked Pokemon forced to Struggle. Scald is used for a STAB attack nothing commonly used is immune to that can also fish for burns outside of terrain.
