OU RMT: Too Hood

Intro:
Hey everyone I'm Tyranagron and this is my 1st RMT. This team has actually done really well in the OU metagame. I'm honestly not sure what my actual record is, nor I am sure what would be on the ladder (I mess around with different teams a lot) I've recently been losing more matches and don't like where the trend is going.
The Team:
560.png

Scrafty @ Lum Berry
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Hi Jump Kick
- Ice Punch

This Scrafty has gotten me out of some seriously bad situations.

It wrecks so much of the metagame I forget that it's NOT in OU. With his respectable bulk, a quick DD for speed, and then Moxie boosts, he can easily sweep multiple team members, before being taken out.

But here lies my problem with me Hoodrat friend here. He has no viable way of healing which means All damage taken hurts... A lot.

Generally what I try to do is switch into a psychic type, then expecting a switch I do the dance of dragons, and then attack what ever is on the field accordingly.

Victini @ Life Orb
Trait: Victory Star
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- V-create
- Bolt Strike
- U-turn
- Brick Break

At first I just wanted Victini just for the power that is stab V-create. After thinking on it though I remembered Victory Star which help out Scrafty quite a bit, raising the accuracy of Hi Jump Kick to 99%
lowering the chances of loosing half my health due to recoil.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- ExtremeSpeed
- Ice Punch

Lucario I use as a not quite as reliable back up to Scrafty, so I guess you could say he's more of my late game sweeper. Honestly out of my entire team Lucario does the worst In pretty much every match he gets taken out by an Earthquake and that's the end of him. I've also tried to switch him for a Cleric but I can't seem to find one that seems to fit. The only reason he is still there is purely for ExtremeSpeed.

Quagsire @ Leftovers
Trait: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Toxic
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Recover

This guy is actually the one that surprised me the most out of any other member of my team. I intended for him to just be a physical Wall but as it turns out my little mudfish(?) here actually does a fair amount of sweeping on his own. When I go against anything other than a grass type I can nearly always reliably switch to this guy.
381.png

Latios (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Surf
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]

I honestly have a strong bonding with Latios from back in Gen 3 with the Mistball just destroying everything in its path and I was more than happy to see Latios return to the OU tier, but sadly with the ban of the Mistball. I have switch back and forth so many times between Dragon Pulse and Draco Meteor it's not even funny but I have finally decided that dragon pulse is overall the better move for me.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 200 HP / 64 Atk / 244 Def
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
And finally we have my Lead (that sounds odd) Honestly he doesn't do much else but send out rocks and then Quake/Edge coverage. I just threw U-turn in there in case I come across a magic bouncer.
Threats:
Defensive Poison Heal Gliscor
Focus Blast Alakazam
Boosting Sweepers

Well thanks for taking a look at my team and I'm excited to see what advice I get from you guys! Thanks!!

Hey there Tyranagron, This is my first time rating a team, so I hope it goes well. Your team is pretty solid, and I really like your use of Quagsire, its ability is really great, but it can be easily taken out by many common OU Pokemon, but I'll get back to that later.

Starmie hurts this team a little bit, but it can be dealt with easily by Quagsire or Victini. Sub Dragon Dance Gyarados does a number to your team though, after setting up a Substitute and a Dragon Dance, it out-speeds your whole team and can take out Victini and Lucario with Earthquake and still do a lot of damage to Landorus after Intimidate plays in, I don't really want to change your team too much so, I think you should change your Victini set to:

494.png

Victini @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Hasty Nature
- Bolt Strike
- U-turn
- V-create
- Glaciate

I changed the set to a Choice Scarf set to outspeed Gyarados after a Dragon Dance, the EV's are standard, 252 Attack for maximum damage output and 252 Speed. The set is a bit unorthodox in my opinion but it can work in OU, Glaciate is for Salamence, Dragonite, Garchomp, etc. who use Boosting moves like Dragon Dance. U-turn is for switching out or gaining momentum early game and hitting opposing Celebi, Alakazam and do a bit of damage to Gengar who would easily kill your Quagsire with Giga Drain or Energy Ball. V-Create being the STAB move of choice dealing a lot of damage to Ferrothorn and Forretress. Since your team isn't a Rain team V Create wont lose any power.Bolt Strike is used for hitting water types like Starmie, Tentacruel and Jellicent who poses a threat to Quagsire as well.

TL;DR
Victini: Choice Scarf > Life Orb
Overall its a nice team, I wish you luck with your others teams, and I guess that's the end of my rate.
Remember this is my first rate, so I hope it wasn't too bad.

So, first of all, I would suggest changing Dragon pulse to Draco meteor to hit as hard as possible. Two consecutive Draco meteors is still stronger than two dragon pulses. You might want to try switching stone edge on lando to hp ice, as it hits all other relevant dragons and opposing lando t harder. There is a huge rain weakness on your team, especially to starmie. I would personally take off quagsire and use starmie instead to provide rapid pin support
