OU RMT works very well but it can always get better

This team has an accumaltive record of 20-9 three of those losses happened as a result bad decisions by me as I was learning the team the others though I just couldn't pull out. I'm willing to switch any movesets and ev's and pokemon as long as there is reason behind it. But enough talking lets get started. :toast:

******Moltres @ Choice Scarf
******Pressure - Modest
******40 DEF/ 216 SPE/ 252 SPA

U-turn
Will-o-Wisp
OverHeat
Air Slash

I used Machamp as my lead before in an attempt to screw up the opponents strategy by taking out their leads and this guy functions in the same way. He can destroy most leads easily with OverHeat and Air Slash and if he can't he either U-turns out to the proper counter or Will-o-Wisps to cripple.

Main Purpose:
Destroy leads!! Then switch out and wait to come and counter another poke or sweep. Seriously people try this guy out. He can destroy teams just by coming in on a free EQ or Fire Blast then make the opponent weap in sorrow as you kill their only counter to Togekiss or Mamoswine.

Machamp @ Muscle Band
No Guard - Adamant
252 HP/ 160 ATK/ 98 SPE

68.png

Fire Punch
Stone Edge
Bullet Punch
Dynamic Punch

He now functions as a great sweeper after his counters are taken care of. ATK ev's are self-explanatory. Speed ev's to outrun other Machamp leads and dynamic punch them first so they get confused. rest of ev's just dumped into HP .

Main purpose:
Find all the steels and destroy them with F-Punch or D-Punch, Late game sweeper also!! XD

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Serene Grace - Calm
252 HP/ 6 DEF/ 252 SPA

473.png

Roost
Air Slash
Thunder Wave
**Aura Sphere**

If you've ever had to deal with one of these things you know they can wreck a team. She has taken out metagrosses and heatrans before with ease even though they resist her only attack. Comes in mid-game when some choice bander decides to use EQ and gets a free T-Wave in. Then proceeds to demolish or force switch.

Main Purpose:
Midgame sweeper/flinch hax spreads paralysis around to those who try and switch out. Usually takes out counters so Slowking and Mamoswine can finish cleanin' house.

SlowKing @ Leftovers
Own Tempo - Calm
212 HP/ 44 SPA/ 252 SPD

199.png

Surf
Slack-off
****Ice Beam
****Thunder Wave

Everybody seems to have forgotten that SlowKing can special wall as well if not better than Blissey. And with all the Blissey counters running around I'll stick to SlowKing. Plus with his typing he can wall and destroy all heatran i've come across even ones that i boost with a fire punch from Machamp like a dummy. XD XD I do need a better attack than HP electric if someone has any ideas.

Main Purpose:

Wall all these stupid heatrans running around!! Plus supports with T-wave and is a great late-game sweeper when it's counters are eleminated. Namely Thunderpunchers and Weaville. Also since it spreads around paralysis it makes it much easier for Togekiss to come in and finish off anyone that SlowKing can't handle himself.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Torrent - Relaxed
240 HP/ 216 DEF/ 52 ATK

260.png

EQ
Surf
Ice Beam
Stealth rock

Since I already have a Sweeper/Revenge Killer with Moltres I don't need the pure attack power of Mamoswine and I really needed someone to set up SR so I got a swampy XD.

Main Purpose:
Sets up SR and then skedaddles until later in the game where he finishes teams off quickly. Also great Tank. Helps destroy the ever present dragons in the metagame.

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Pressure - Impish
252 HP/ 252 DEF/ 6 SPD

482.png

Will-o-Wisp
***Thunder Punch****
Ice Punch
Pain Split

Pretty standard although i chose to use a DEF one instead of SPD because I already have SlowKing. But need something to give super-effective against ghosts which seem to be a weakness of my team considering shadow sneak over ice punch as it gives priority also open to suggestions though. Usually cripples physical sweepers very easily then destroys them and pain splits with healers like blissey for free health.

Main Purpose:
Physical Wall/Spreads Burn around also brings in special sweepers who aim a psychic at me then switch to SlowKing who now got a free switch in.

Overall strategy is to let Moltres screw up the other teams strategy and then procede to take all the counters out or wall things until the time is right then unleash MAMOSWINE or SLOWKING to reak havoc among the reamaning opponent.

THREAT LIST
-------------
Heatran: Machamp(if still around OHKO most Heatrans without heavy DEF investing) Walled then destroyed by SlowKing.

Gyrados: Mamoswine's Stone Edge Machamp's Stone Edge either OHKO G-DOS ********Dusknoir with T-Punch and physical walling this G-DOS is now Toast

Heracross: OHKO with Togekiss' and Moltres' Air Slash

Scizor: Mamoswine's EQ, and has been defeated by Togekiss on occasion(easist if they carry SD and Bullet Punch) ******How does OverHeat sound scizor??(Moltres)

Gengar: Lead form easily handled by Machamp, other versions cause trouble unless I get him T-Waved by Togekiss then he is destroyed.******* Just one more victim of the OverHeat insanity

Tyranitar: Crippled from Will-o-Wisp from Dusknoir, then Mamoswine can SuperPower or Machamp can DynamicPunch OHKO Tyranitar. If it happens to be a TyraniBoah I have more of a problem seeing that my special wall is weak to Dark but if I get a L-screen up he has no chance.

Salamance/Dragonite/Flygon: all OHKO by Ice Shard or walled and destroyed by Dusknoir and Ice Punch also been defeated by Togekiss and Machamp. Will-o-Wisp cripples physical versions

Metagross: Machamp 2HKO with D-Punch or F-Punch, Togekiss can easily take this guy down. Dusknoir Will-o-Wisp's and proceeds to T-Punch to oblivion. ************ OverHeat = OHKO :D

I have a problem with teams who use spikes SR and Toxic Spikes at the same time. If its just one or two they are easily countered and destroyed.

I'm open to all suggetsions and comments. And throw all the critism at me you can it can only make me better. :D but back-up all you statements.

I got your pm and my rmt is open, I just cannot edit out the don't post sign. On to your rate.

I think your team is fairly solid, and your record also speaks to that, but I see a large dd salamence weak as your only "counter" is mamoswines ice shard. Dusknoir will not hold up against a LO dd outrage and everything else will fall to its other moves. I would suggest switching celebi to a steel type, skarmory or heatran can both work. The defensive set could work in celebi's place as it give you another fire/dragon resist.

Also on togekiss I would put aura sphere over batom pass as you said you needed a filler, and aura sphere is a great overall choice. It can almost ohko all tars and it gives you a better chance against pokes that resist air slash. Or, you could put nasty plot in over baton pass, which would give you the ability to take out blissey with a little luck.

Finally on a little side note, I think your team is in need of stealth rocks, but I don't know where to put them on your team. Maybe on the incoming heatran? I think you should test your team and find out what works best and then you decide.

I do not think you are using Machamp to its fullest potential. I see little reason for using Fire Punch on Machmap because DynamicPunch already does alot more damage to steel types than Fire Punch. I would switch Machamp's moveset to the RestTalker since it provides your team with a great status absorber.

Machamp@ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
Ev's: 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Spe
Nature: Adamant
-DynamicPunch
-Stone Edge
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

This set allows Machamp to effectively absorb status for your team. The 252 EVs in HP ensure that Machamp has maximum durability and the 4 Speed EVs allow Machamp to outspeed a minimum Speed Blissey.

Now, I agree with chaos 9. You are really weak to Salamence, and swampert cannot always take a +1 DD Outrage. You need a steel type that can switch into a Salamence locked into Outrage and Heatran does that job perfectly. I think Heatran will make a much better lead than Moltres. I also do not like Moltres on your team because you have nothing that can use Rapid Spin to take away Stelth rock from the field which greatly hampers Moltres's ability to come onto the field. For this reason, I would use Heatran and make the following set your lead:

Heatran @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Naive (+Spe, -SpD)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion

Firstly, it sets up the Stealth Rock which greatly your team. Secondly, Explosion is a great way to take out a Blissey which thinks it can switch into your special attacks and wall you. If you can get rid of Blissey with your Heatran, life for your Togekiss and Slowking will become alot easier. Heatran makes a good lead because it walls things like Azelf - just watch out for Earthquakes from the likes of Bronzong and Aerodactyl. Your Shuca Berry (ground resist) will save you from one Earthquake, but its better to avoid them altogether and keep you berry intact.

Now, I think a SubCune might be problamatic for your team. It can set up a Substitute on your Slowbro while you fail to break Suicune's sub. After that, Suicune is free to set up as many Calm Minds as it pleases and sweep your team. Suicune can also set up on Togekiss since Suicune is faster and you fail to break its Sub after a few Calm Minds. It also takes little damage from Dusknoir's ThunderPunch and Suicune can 2HKO with Surf after one Calm Mind since you do not invest in any Special Defense EV's. So, to fix this, Iwould suggest replacing Stealth Rock with Roar on your Swampert. Stealth Rock is not needed anymore because you have Heatran setting it up already. roar allows you to get rid of common pokemon who use stat boosting moves such as Suicune, Gyarados, and Scizor.

Seems you lose somewhat to heavy stall. As you mentioned in your RMT, Toxic Spikes + Spikes+ Stealth Rock take care of the majority of your team, and if said stall holds a decent lategame sweeper like Lucario, or Scizor, you basically lose. I know Slowking is a very important part of your team, countering a variety of threats, but I feel Starmie can fit the role better, and accomplish basically everything Slowbro does with the addition of Rapid Spinning. Spinning away the entry hazards allows you to maximize machamp's and Togekiss's lifespan. Starmie also adds some form of speed to this team, which is fairly slow in general. Sure you have Thunder Wave to slow down opposing threats, but its always nice to have the speed in some situations

--------------------------------------------------------------
Well, I hope that I helped you and good luck with your team :toast:
--------------------------------------------------------------

Depending on how you feel about keeping your Moltres alive, consider having a rapid spinner since Stealth Rock will destroy it.

Ok. Sorry to say so but... I hate your team =/. Now I will suggest some tuff that coiuld be added. Sorry to sound rude.
1. I totally agree with Foresaken_Justice that machamp is great, however I go with Ice Punch over Stone Hedge so I dont run out of PP and can kill dragons with ease same for groudn types.

2. For your steel "weakness" and Mence I woudl go with the Standard Magnezone it traps those Steels and can take outrages, then counter away with HP Ice.

3. You got 2 Pokeys with will-o-wisp. I find no point on it. Dusknoir si meant to be a defensive wall using will-o-wisp so ditch of w-o-w from Moltres. I actualyl find no use for moltres on your team. Swampert should be a lead to set the rocks right from the begining of the match. (By the way why you gave Moltres a modest nature when he also uses a physical move?)

4. Since Togekiss, "Moltres" (if u stay with it), and Dusknoir are spreading status around your opponents team I find no point on giving slowking Thunder Wave, its a waste of a moveslot. I can see milotic coming in taking that Thunder Wave, take advantage of it to activate Marvel Scale and then wall your Slowking. Actually any Bulky Water woudl wall you and could either set up on you. It needs HP Grass/Electric I woudl go with Grass so you have something to stop Swampert.

5. Hum...watch out for SpecsStarmie with trick which might come up and kill some of your pokes.

6. Now again, since most of your pokes are based on status afflictiosn pomemons like: Celebi, Miltank and Blissey having Aromatherapy/Heal Bell on their team might become somewhat of a problem.
