Hey guys! This is another offensive team that I've created a week ago and I am looking for some help. What better place to ask then smogon eh?

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd
Earthquake
Surf
Stealth Rock
Ice Beam

Swampert is one of the most reliable leads in today's metagame. With the upsurge in Metagross, Infernape and Heatran leads lately, Swampert makes for an excellent candidate for a lead since it has the ability to beat most leads one on one with his STAB moves of Earthquake and Sirf. Combine that with Swampert's great durability and you got yourself one heck of a lead. Stealth Rock is an obvious choice on any team since it limits the amount of times the dangerous Salamence and Gyarados can switch in. Ice Beam allows me to deal with mence while EQ and Surf provide STAB which allow Swampert to deal with Fire and Steel types. All in all, Swampert is a amazing lead!

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 112 HP/252 Atk/12 Def/132 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Agility
Meteor Mash
ThunderPunch
Earthquake

You usually do not see Metagross as a sweeper these days, instead you see most of them as Leads and I don't know why. Agility Metagross is a beast after a speed boost. After an Agility, he can sweep teams with ease thanks to his amazing type coverage with ThunderPunch,Earthquake and Meteor Mash. Metagross is also suprisingly bulky allowing Metagross to have an easier time sweeping since it can survive most attacks and hit back hard in return! Metagross serves as a late game sweeper on this team and with his amazing Attack stat, it's not hard for metagross to sweep.

Gengar@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 252 Speed 252 SpA 6 HP
Nature: Timid
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
HP Fire

Gengar serves one primary role on this team and that is to revenge kill Gyarados, whom can otherwise be problematic. Thunderbolt allows me to OHKO Gyara and with Choice Scarf, Gengar has no problem outspeeding it. Gengar provides a pretty cool immunity to Fighting and Normal in addition to Ground, making him easy to switch in most of the time. Shadow Ball is for STAB and to hit opposing Ghost types such as Rotom. HP Fire helps with Scizor who is a pest to deal with.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EV’s: 252 HP 252 SpA 6 Def
Nature: Timid
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Rapid Spin
Surf

Starmie serves as a secondary late game sweeper since with Ice Beam and Thunderbolt with Surf in irs arsenal, it can hit many threats for neutral/ super effective damage. This makes Starmie an excellent Pokemon to clean up late game. Rapid Spin is not an offensive move, however, it clears away any entry hazards like Spikes Stealth Rock or Toxic Spikes which can damage my team. The EV’s allow Starmie to sweep to its fullest potential.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 32 HP/252 Atk/224 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Swords Dance
Brick Break
Bullet Punch
Roost

Scizor is another strong physical threat in the OU metagame, being able to sweep an unprepared team at any time. Combined with its amazing typing, which gives it only one weakness(Fire) it has a myriad of opportunities to switch-in on common types such as Grass, Bug, Dark, Ghost, Normal, etc. Scizor is already blessed with a great Attack score and with Swords Dance to boost its Attack to phenomenal levels, it can be a major threat late game when its counters are eleminated. Kingdra takes care of Heatran for Scizor while Latias makes wuick work of Zapdos and Heatran.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP / 108 Atk / 100 Def / 144 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Dragon Dance
Taunt
Earthquake
Waterfall

BulkyGyara is a cool Pokemon to use since it can easily set up thanks to its durability given by the HP and Defense EV's. With Dragon Dance, Gyara becomes even more of a threat since it becomes a more capable sweeper of sorts. With taunt, it can prevent Pokemon from statusing it, making Gyara's sweep more enjoyable. Gyara has many chances to switch in on Fighting, Steel, and Bug attacks that are common in OU, so Gyara makes a great sweeper

I like this team, but there are just a few problems.

Since you have nothing to phaze, anything that sets up will give you quiet a bit of trouble. So you might want to consider have roar over surf on your swampert.

also, the whole point of using bullet punch on scizor is mostly because of his ability technician, so yo ushould definately change his ability to technician

Alright, this team has a major Zapdos weakness. He not only walls Metagross, but has the ability to KO your whole team with a standard movespread of Thunderbolt / Heat Wave / Hidden Power Grass. Your team is well constructed; however, it should be in your best interest to get rid of that gaping weakness to Zapdos. Considering that Zapdos won't take much from a Swampert's Ice Beam, your only means of fighting off said Zapdos is Gengar. Gengar cannot switch in since it will take massive damage from ThunderBolt. Gengar can hit pretty hard with Shadow Ball, but Zapdos will Roost off that damage and will 2HKO Gengar with Thunderbolt. I think I can fix that weakness up for you though, so don't worry. Now let's see; what member can be taken out and be replaced with a certain Pokemon without upsetting the teams general synergy? The answer to that is simple: drop Gengar for Rotom-H. This counters Zapdos and at the same time doesn't require you to make any significant changes to the team since Rotom and Gengar are both Ghost types and they run similar movesets. Rotom-H also gives you a way to counter Scizor better without having to resort to your late game sweeper, Gyarados. Go ahead and put Rotom-H over Gengar's current position and here is the set I want you to use:

Rotom-H @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Overheat
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp

There is not much to be said about this since this is basically doing the same thing that Gengar did, however, more effectively. As already said, this takes care of Zapdos who is really troublesome to this team and really just hinders Gyarados's sweeping potential. Rotom has immediate strong damage with Thunderbolt. Overheat is similar to what HP Fire did on Gengar; it OHKO'es Scizor. You should try to use it scarcely since the sharp decreases you will get from it stop you from using your other moves properly. Shadow Ball for STAB and to hit opposing Rotoms, and WoW for burning threats that can cause harm to Rotom otherwise such as CB Tyranitar who will attempt to Pursuit, thinking that you will flee. Really just for debilitating physical attackers who won't do hardly any damage when they are burned. If you are interested in bulkier Rotom spreads, tell me and I'll give you some. Rotom will not take much damage from Zapdos' Heat Wave so Rotom will work fine.

With a team that consists of three Water types, Starmie might be better taken out as a way to be less redundant, and replacing Starmie with another special sweeper may work better. There are a few options that you can go with. Firs option that comes to mind is Latias. Latias has great synergy with your team since 1) You have 2 Pokemon weak to fire and one weak to Groud. Latias is immune to Ground and resists Fire. Latias also does excellently against Zapdos, since Latias resists Thunderbolt and heat Wave and can hit back hard with Draco Meteor or set up on it with Calm Mind. However, adding another sweeper that can set up on your team Is a bit redundant since you have Scizor, Metagross and Gyarados setting up. For that reason, if you go with Latias, I suggest using a set of Draco Meteor, Surf, ThunderBolt, Rrecover, Life Orb, 252 Speed/252 SPA, 6 HP. Latias basically does everything your Starmie did except for rapid Spinning. Your team does not have that much of a hard time with entry hazards so I would not worry about it. Latias is able to clean up nicely late game with a powerful STAB Draco Meteor. Seeing as you have Rotom to WoW incoming Tyranitar and other threats that give Latias a hard time, Latias will be having a much easier time sweeping. Latias also has great synergy with your Scizor and metagross so it is a great addition to your team since Latias deals with Scizor’s and metagross’ counters while Meta and Scizor deal with Latias’ counters! Your team also struggles somewhat against BulkyWaters so Latias will also be able to remedy that problem. If you're still having problems with that spot tell me and I'll be sure to help you sort that problem out. =)

I see Scizor benefiting from changing its item to Choice Band. By switching to a Choice Band Scizor, you will not only have the ability to powerfully scout and adjust to the opponent's team with U-turn and trap+kill threatening walls and sweepers with Pursuit, but you will also be able to revenge kill with even more power than before. Choice Abnd Scizor is also adept at dispatching of Tyranitar, a threat to Rotom and Latias if you decide to use it. I suggest using Choice Band Adamant, Bullet Punch U-turn Superpower Pursuit, 76 HP ,252 Atk, ,6 Spe,176 SpD. The extra bulk provided by not losing 10% a turn attacking will often come in handy, as well (as will the extra HP EVs), given Scizor's awesome ability to switch in. With the Special Defense EV’s, Scizor will have a much easier time switching into Special Attacks from the likes of Gengar’s Focus Blast to Latias’ Surf

Also, just diving into point out that your Scizor has Swarm when you were surely looking for Technician. I think CB Scizor will be more effective because more often than not, you’ll be finding that SD Scizor will be forced to switch out since once it sets up an SD a Heatran/Zapdo/Gyarados will switch in, forcing you to switch out because they will kill you. Latias will be good on this team like I later suggested because Latias easily rids of Heatran, Zapdos, and sometimes Gyarados without a DD under its belt. CB Scizor will provde immediate power and scouting for your team.

Good Luck

I'm taking every suggestion you made because when I tested these suggestions, they worked out great. Thank you so much Bloo! Your rate was exactly what I needed =D

Yup, I will use Roar now. It has proven more useful since it gets rid of stuff like Gyarados. Yeah, you and Bloo pointed out that I have Swarm >_> All this time I've been using Swarm lol. I will change to technician. Thanks guys!
