OU RMT

1st OU RMT That Wasn't Blocked (at least not yet)

I've started to get into Shoddy Battle more lately and made up a team. I did not have an actual goal when making this team. I kind of just went through the OU list and picked out some of my faves. After that I picked out some of my weaknesses and I started winning, but I still have some weaknesses.

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Jolly
252 Att/6Def/252Spd
Taunt
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Stone Edge

Aero's job is to put rocks up and possibly even take out a Pokemon. Depending on the Pokemon I either Taunt or put up Rocks. If I can hit the other lead for super-effectiveness I'll go for the kill. If a scarf-Jirachi shows up then I will switch to my Heatran since I can take it down in one hit. It is a very good lead and it does its job.

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Naive
6HP/252SP.Att/252Spd
Fire Blast
Earth Power
Explosion
Dragon Pulse

Whenever one of my Pokemon goes down ,and if Heatran has an advantage, I'll send him in for the kill. Fire Blast is there for STAB and will really hurt anything. Earth Power is there for coverage. Dragon pulse to take out those pesky dragons and for solid coverage. Explosion is for when Heatran is about to faint anyway or to take out a troublesome foe. Explosion has not been very effective for me so I'm considering changing it to something else.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Naive
252Att/64SP.Att/192Spd
Overheat
Mach Punch
Close Combat
U-Turn

This is the standard Physical Mix-Ape. Close Combat destroys anything that is weak to it and severely damages anything that is neutral. Mach Punch is there for picking off weakened opponents. Overheat is there to provide more coverage along with STAB. U-Turn is there to switch out while causing damage.

Metagross @ Leftovers
Adamant
252HP/252Att/6SP.Def
Bullet Punch
Earthquake
Ice Punch
Rock Polish

Metagross is my setup sweeper. After one Rock Polish it out-speeds nearly anything that is not scarfed. After that I plow through the opponent's team with Earthquake and Ice Punch. Bullet Punch is there to take out more weakened foes. I put the EVs so that Metagross could take some hits and then destroy the opposing Pokemon.

starmie.png

Starmie @ Expert Belt
Timid
252SP.Att/252Spd/6SP.Def
Hydro Pump
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Psychic

I put Starmie into my team mostly to stop Gyarados and Infernape. I am still deciding whether to take out Psychic and put in Recover so any advice on this would be great. Thunderbolt and Ice Beam, as we all know, have great coverage together and they together take out many threats. Hydro Pump really dishes out a lot of damage to just about anything.

Breloom.png

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Adamant
162HP/252Att/96Spd
Spore
Substitute
Seed Bomb
Focus Punch

This is my new favorite Pokemon. Breloom switches in against usually any Water Pokemon and Forretress. I use Spore to put the enemy to sleep and then I use Substitute. Then the domination begins. Even if the enemy Pokemon resists Focus Punch, it will take a lot of damage. Seed Bomb is there for Gyarados who thinks that it will easily take out Breloom. Breloom has swept entire teams before and I will probably continue to use it throughout my future teams.

Thanks for reading and criticize away!

the only glaring weakness this team has is crocune. your best bet is breloom, but it is worn down pretty easily. to fix this, i would give breloom leech seed over seed bomb, which, if my calculations are accurate, cant 2hko suicune. leech seed gives you more durability, letting you deal with crocune better by letting yourself survive through all those surfs. other than that, great team.

I'd throw a scarf and trick on starmie to help with revenge killing and stall. Also, ape has extra Evs.

This team has a massive issue with earthquakes. Aero falls early, and breloom is 2HKOed by most EQs. I would make either heatran or infernape into a gyarados. Or just make starmie a gyarados.

Thanks for rating guys. I'm gonna put a scarf on Starmie and replace Heatran with DDGyarados. I'll also change BP to Meteor Mash on Metagross. Thanks again!
