Hi everyone, I'm sick and quite bored, so I will drop some of the shit I tested. Most of those squad are mid or bad, but they have some good ideas here and there. Therefore, take this post more as a way to inspire other player with funny shit.

Main inspiration was Oras with those Sand HO structure. So, the baseline of mttar/exca/volc/serp was fairly logical. The spicy set in this team is Tapu Fini. Gravity, imo, has some potential in SM OU. It deny HJK from medi/lop (good for mttar), avoid miss from sadge moves such as Stone Edge and Fire Blast and, while it was no fully exploited here, remove the ground-immunity from flyer and levitate user. So, not only it turns eq into a very spammable move (and shit on structure without ground resist), it also form a deadly combo with T-spikes (and spikes by extension). This last part is not hard to apply in the builder since Cress + Toxapex is already a strong core nowadays and Cress provide Gravity and Toxapex T-spikes. About the team, latias scarf was the way to patch longevity issue and some annoying MU like zam. Underwhelming team but decent showcase of how to possibly use gravity in the tier.

Idk why but Webs Araq + Maero seemed like a very cool idea in my head. Now the issue is that Maero, even with Hone Claws, hit as hard as Mlop, so irrelevant pick in the context of HO. Not a lot to say about this team, I do think webs might do something and Araq is a really funny poke but the structure is kinda meh. Tapu Lele + Volcarona + Kart is obviously a good core but Webs does not mesh particulary well with it. In the case of Chomp, Webs does not help against Mtias, so, again, weird choice. Not a bad squad per say but the package of araq/maero does not elevate enough the rest of the team.

Obviously, the spicy one in this team is PZ. PZ, with NP + Z-Hyper Beam + Adaptability sent anything to oblivion. Therefore, idea was to form a PZ/Mtios/Kart to overwhelm steels. Lando/Fini/Tran is a classic for BO structure. Issue with the squad is the inherent flaw of running a breaker without any defensive value, leading to something too frail into very offensive structure. Not bad team, PZ is a cool poke but it's def not the way to use it (maybe offense or HO).

Fairly straighforward concept: Xatu + Zardx + Excadrill. Z-Lando offensive support Zardx and Fini/Ferro provide the necessary defensive backbone (moreover, the fini set is kinda funny and often auto win into certain structure). While the team is correct, it suffer a bit of not having its overall pace missmatching with Xatu. Xatu thrive on team focusing momentum and, as you can see, the team is a bit too slow to provide this specific condition. Still think you can cook something good with Xatu/Zardx/Ferro as a start imo.

I was a bit hyped with this one but it was, at the end, not good enough imo. I will explain some of the idea I think are good and you could use somewhere else. I do think Utility Excadrill + Lando Scarf is a cool core for certain offensive structure. They compliment well each other and Excadrill is useful to run more easily relevant moves on Lando (while easing the endgame against Koko and all). Keldeo + Mmaw (with Exca to force a lot of annoying mindgame against Rotom between Hpump on sub or vswitch on exca), on paper, has some great synergies between the shared pressure on Toxapex, Keldeo soft-checking Tran/Volc and both of them providing soft answer to Weavile. KB + Cress are prob the suspect slots here. Semi-TR cress with Mmaw missmatch with the rest of the structure and, while Keld/KB/Maw is a good core, not sure if it fits with the Double ground supporting core. Overall, some good ideas, bad execution but some potential at least.

Chansey Wish offense lol. Team's not bad at all actually. Despite, on paper, the weird picks, the pace is on point and, if refined, I could see this kind of dynamic working in a more serious context. For what we have here, the abusers of Wish is Mmaw and Scarf Vic, letting them checking the likes of Kart, Vile and Torn. Serp/Chomp is classic to provide resistances, support and pressure. The real magic comes from the Thundurus. In this context, it kinda works in a similar way as what you can see in Oras: acting as a generator of momentum with its good combo of ice/electric/fight and prio twave to provide a safe net into sweeper and force respect from Mtias.

That team sucks lol. Gallade sounds nice but, once u saw the calc, shit is often one step behind of doing something in a match. Outside of that, idea was to play a slower game using T-spikes and Kyurem to slowly soften Gallade's checks. Turns out the squad just fails to do anything since Gallade is neither a competent breaker, not providing any kind of meaningful defensive value.

Houndoom at +2 under sun with overheat has a roll to OHKO chansey. Unfort, while sun has some sexy support with venusaur and cress, it's so flawed at the end with stacking Houndoom and useless Torkoal. While I saw the potential with sun (outside of Zardy I mean), it's hella hard to cleanly support it. Prob main way is to use a better mega since, if we keep the core of torkoal/venu, I can't see a better backbone than cress/fini/chomp. Anw, even if this squad does not work, still very curious about sun structure as a whole.

Prob the best squad in this post. Very 2019-ish feels with this one. Concept is simple: volt-turn core of lando/jira/rotom with mmaw as the main way to progress. Mmaw + set-up dragon is a classic. Serp support well enough mmaw and improve the MU into rain or kart. The main issue with that squad is, despite having a fonctionnal pace and dynamic, it suffer a lot from recent innovations. For example, cress/z-torn/zardx is extremely hard to navigate around and toad being a thing does not help rotom doing rotom things. I would say Twave on Jira improve a lot those MU but I was too bored of trying to refine this squad. Good team regardless but does not match well enough the new standard of current SM OU.

I was trying to revamp Wishkiller here. Keldeo + Mvenu is a cool core but mvenu is very flawed a whole. Cress + mvenu, while good on paper, turn any rain or sand MU into hell. I did like the idea of FS cress to support keldeo with band pursuit scizor to trap mtias and soften stuff with u-turn and superpower (bullet punch is also crucial for winning endgames against HO/offense). Torn is surely the weak link here but idk how you would conclude in another way this structure. Not sure what to feel with this one since I hated to face sand/rain stuff with mvenu + cress unfort lol.
That's all for today folks. Hope this post was useful and sorry if it's not readable, too sick to make a proper post.

Hail has potential imo but no idea how you crack the code with it. Maboma + RH chomp + offensive torn could work but very harsh to support. NP ninetales + mmaw was also an idea but still very tough to build around it.
