MY TEAM AT A GLANCE:
TEH SETUP
Jolly Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Pressure
252 atk 252 spd
Taunt
SRock
IceFang
SEdge
Pretty Standard lead, though for people who dont know what it is capable of...it rapes them ruthlessly. They try to setup(SRock/Hypnosis) and I taunt them, or they switch into a wall, and they lose recovery, or even maybe a sweeper and I lose nothing. Then I SRock them, and usually get to 1hp w/ sash and get a free SEdge or Ice Fang (becuase I'm faster 99.99% of the time), which makes sashes useless and maybe even gives me a free KO ^^
TEH WALL-BREAKER
Adamant Heracross @ Flame Orb
Guts
252 atk 252 spd
Night Slash
SEdge
Close Combat
Megahorn
A pretty Standard Orb-Cross, the idea is to switch in a fight I can win and activate Flame Orb, activating Guts. I now have almost 600 Atk, but w/o being locked into a single move. Either way, his purpose is to destroy walls. I have CC which STABbed and Guts boosted, will probably OHKO anything that its has regular damage against. Megahorn is there to kill Bulky Grass and Psychics (who resists CC) such as Celebi and Cresellia. Stone Edge kills the omnipresent Gyrados, with the crits hitting through Intimidate. Night Slash is there mostly for filler, but hist Dusknoir who resists CC.
TEH SPECIAL SWEEPER
Timid Espeon@Wise Glasses/Life Orb
Synchronize
252 Satk 252 Spd
Psychic
Shadow Ball
HP Ice
Grass Knot
This is my special sweeper on my team. Psychic hits anything hard that doesn’t resist it, whilst Shadow Ball covers those that do. HP Ice is there to hit Dragons and Grounds that are ever-so-common in the OU metagame. Finally, Grass Knot is there to take out Bulky Grd/Rock and waters such as Swampert and Rhyperior
THE UBER WALL
Bold Celebi@Leftovers
Natural Cure
252 HP 252 Def
Leech Seed
Calm Mind
Recover
Energy Ball/Psychic/Leaf Storm
Pretty typical CM Celebi, I seed, I begin CMing, Recover when things look iffy. The only difference is my last spot (which I’m looking for help in…) What should be my attack? Energy Ball and Psychic are for reliable STAB, while Leaf Storm is a bit more risky, but almost twice as much power. Suggestions?
TEH DRAGON-DANCER
Adamant Gyrados@Life Orb
Intimidate
252 Atk 252 Spd
DDance
Aqua Tail
EQ
Stone Edge
This guy was to replace my Chomp after he became uber, and is now one of the best members fo my team XD. You all know the deal with the DDance. I have Aqua Tail now, but should i switch to waterfall? EQ is there cuz Grd is a great type (and i need a EQ on my team >.<) and Stone Edge is to hit other Gyradoses. BTW im currently looking for a bulky GDos Careful, 252 HP, 224 Speed and 48 SpD with rest sleep talk DDance and Waterfall.
THE REVENGE KILLER
Modest Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Flash Fire
252 SAtk 252 Spd
Flamethrower
Earth Power
HP Ice
Explosion
Pretty Standard Scarf-tran, with his Flamethrower for reliable STAB, Earth Power for coverage, HP Ice for Dargons which are on almost every team, and Explosion when you’re low on HP.
I take no credit for the sprites: thanks go out to Pokemon Elite 2000Pokemon Elite 2000http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites.html
