xray vs Diophantine: i don't rly think this mu is cool, but it's very indicative of one of the biggest issues with this tournament: since all the slots are SS OU, you run the risk of having your worst player face the other team's best player. also, while the player pool in this tournament is surprisingly strong, there is a clear dropoff. combining these two factors can lead to some... interesting mus.

BIHI vs Sage: i also don't rly think this mu is that cool, but i like how a lot of lower tier and old gen players are jumping into SS OU. seems to be happening more than with SM. maybe it's because dexit removed a lot of familiar OU mons, maybe it's because dynamax is so epic.

vs Finchinator: sav is the type of player to use insane god level shit that kills some of the more well rounded top players (see: WCoP). finch is the definition of tried and true, so normally i predict an upset against him when he's matched vs players like these. however, due to the unpredictability of SS OU, i think it's just as likely that finch brings some broken dumb shit. the "standard" right now is ditto and darmanitan, two insane pokemon lol.

Jrdn: p close one. in tour player circles, both are very underrated i'd say, but in the circles that are managing this tour, vulp is probably a bit overrated. both try a moderate amount in these tours though, actually a cool one imo.
