VGC (OUTDATED) Mega Gardevoir VGC Team

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace / Pixilate
EVs: 108 HP / 124 Def / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 20 Spe
Nature: Modest
- Hyper Voice
- Protect
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Protect

The main attacker and star of the team! I originally chose M-Gallade, but M-Gardevoir is so much better in VGC. Her EV spread is versatile because she is a great wallbreaker with decent speed.

Suicune @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Nature: Bold
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Snarl
- Tailwind

Suicune is my team's Tailwind support, as M-Gardevoir especially appreciates the Speed boost. Ice Beam is for coverage and the possible Freeze, while Scald is a powerful STAB move that provides a possible Burn. The SpA drop from Snarl helps deal with Special attackers and deals some damage to both opponents. I run a Bold nature with max Def and HP investments because Suicune’s main purpose is to set up Tailwind.

Amoonguss @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Nature: Relaxed
- Giga Drain
- Protect
- Rage Powder
- Spore

Amoonguss is my team's utility mon. Regenerator provides reliable HP coverage, along with Giga Drain, which allows Amoonguss to deal some damage. Rage Powder can redirect hits, which helps M-Gardevoir avoid super-effective moves. Spore is useful for slowing down opponents that are faster or threaten M-Gardevoir. Its EV spread maximizes its defenses, allowing Amoonguss to sit and take hits while annoying its opponents and switching out with Regenerator to restore HP.

talonflame.gif

Talonflame @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Tailwind
- Protect

This is a another standard Talonflame set. The main move of this set is Quick Guard which compliments a speed control team. Flare Blitz is a great STAB move that provides a possible burn. Tailwind is mostly to cover for mons Suicune can't deal with. Talonflame will already be taking recoil from Brave Bird, so I run the Life Orb to maximize the damage output. I went with a Jolly nature to outspeed other Talonflame.

Hi there nympheon! I'm gonna continually edit this post as I have time but it will get done eventually by either me or others. But first and foremost, Brave is not a good nature for Tyranitar if you are running full speed investment. I suggest running a Adamant or Jolly Nature over a Brave Nature. Being Brave is just wasting your Speed EVs by making you slower. You can run Jolly to out speed other T-tars or Adamant to get the Attack boost from brave without the speed decrease. Secondly, Tyranitar shouldn't run Leftovers in VGC (nor should any Pokémon for that matter, except Sub Heatran or Zapdos). So I suggest running Focus Sash or Chople Berry over Leftovers. Chople Berry makes it so Fighting type attacks (which are he bane of Tyranitar's existence) do less damage but Sash can save you from dying to an EQ, CC, etc. Next, I suggest running Sludge Bomb over Giga Drain on Amoonguss. Sludge Bomb allows you to hit Fairies which looks like they have fun with your team without it.

Seconding this. Although slower Tyranitar gives you an advantage under weather wars, these are more rare on the 2015 metagame.

Sorry, but you just can't get rid of Giga Drain. You lose your only way to beat Suicune, although having a fairy weakness is also bad. There are some Amoonguss sets that gave up Protect for Sludge Bomb since they were pretty much forced to, but i don't know if that will be your case.
Also, i can't see a way you beat up Bisharp without having one of your Pokémon severely damaged by it, even Mega Gallade won't have fun with a Sucker Punch coming at its face, and given that Talonflame also beats Mega Gallade, i can definitely see Talonflame+Bisharp just going through the entire team. I'd suggest Bisharp>Tyranitar but that will only give you another Talonflame weakness which isn't really nice. If you really want to put Bisharp in, i'd suggest changing Talonflame's nature to Jolly so you can outspeed other Talonflame and kill with Brave Bird. Also, i can see Quick Guard Talonflame as a great utility on your team, and will give it more use so it can block priority attacks like opposing Talonflame's Brave Bird or Bisharp's Sucker Punch.
Also, optimize the EV spreads of Sylveon, Suicune and Amoonguss. These mons have better uses for their EVs, use them right!
Well, that's it! Keep it up!
