Over Before You Know It

Thing of all the synergy in this team before you say something no so smart. It has been performing very well on Shoddy having a current record of 10:1 (wins:loses) which really makes me happy. I know someone is going to tell me that I have a problem without being able to remove Stealth Rock and you're right that can be a problem, but this team removes threats so quickly that it doesn't make too much a difference.

This team's strength lies in it's ability to quickly set up and begin bowling things over. Below is it's roster...

ninjask.png

Name: Koga
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Hp / 6 Atk / 252 Spd
Ability: Speed Boost
Items: Leichi Berry
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- X-Scissor
- Project

As soon as Ninjask comes out, it can begin to set someone up to sweet. Project is there incase I wiff a speed attack such as Bullet Punch, Vaccume Punch, Extreme Speed or whatever else tickles my fancy to sniff out. Regardless, he gets the speed boost and manages to keep his HP full in the process which is never bad. I'll set up substitute and immediately switch into Dragonite or Salamence, depending on the scarce differences between the two. The HP EVs allow Ninjask to withstand an Ice Shard from Donphan with around sixteen HP left which I have to say isn't bad. X-Scissor provides an attack because I refuse to be completely screwed over if this thing is left alone, I WILL have some sort of attack on it.

salamence.png

Name: Terror
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Focus Sash
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw

Salamence comes in safely over Spikes but Focus Sash is there to ensure that it sets up. Hopefully, Ninjask scared my opponent into forgetting their entry hazards and now he's at full Hp. With full Hp and a sub, that's two or more turns to set up: one comes from the sub, the second (if needed) comes from the reassurance from Focus Sash. Afterward, Terror can begin to rip things apart with the appropriate attack. I anticipate that the only trouble he will have would come from a faster Dragon, in which case I want Dragon Claw plus the Speed Boost to allow me to erase it before it gets set-up and begins creating problems.

weavile.png

Name: Grim
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Item: Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
- Sword Dance
- Ice Shard
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break

Grim has always been faithful and a reliable revenge killer for my team. Because Pokemon like Scizor like to float around and U-Turn or Bullet Punch things that could be too weak to survive, Grim has Ice Shard to ensure that it can take them out. Ice Punch is there fore an added boost in power, though I'm considering removing it for Aerial Ace. Brick Break is pretty obvious and gets the job done whenever I need it to. Sword Dance allows Grim a massive boost in power if I can ever get it by smelling changes or whatever else.

slowbro.png

Name: Dizzy
Nature: Bold
EVs: 212 Hp / 252 Def / 44 Sp. Atk
Ability: Oblivious
Item: Leftover
- Slack Off
- Thunder Wave
- Surf
- Psychic

Dizzy is really here to piss people off. He's able to easily land at least one Thunder Wave and cripple something. From there, it's just a matter of stalling them out with Surf, Psychic and Slack Off to restore HP. He's a very good wall and despite his weakness to BUG attacks, he's still capable of taking a hit or two.

cresselia.png

Name: Saintress
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 6 Sp. Atk
Ability: Levitate
Item: Leftovers
- Moonlight
- Psychic
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind

Too many people on Shoddy have been screwed over by Saintress. She comes in at the right moment, sets up a few Calm Minds while acting as a fortress against any attacks that come her way then sweeps the team.

dragonite.png

Name: Legend
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 6 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Ability: Inner Focus
Item: Focus Sash
- Dragon Dance
- Thunder Punch
- Outrage
- Aerial Ace

Lastly is my pride and joy, Legend. He's meant to be able to finish off anything that isn't already dead or take a boost from Ninjask in order to eliminate the surrounding competition.

You need to add some comments to each pokemon, otherwise this will get locked.

Anyways:

Boy, you have a tremendous SD Scizor weakness. If it gets 1 SD, its game (which it will get in your Ninjask). I really recommend you add something like a Timid Magnezone with max speed or a ScarfZone with HP Fire. That could really help you.

Siczor does not lead. Whatever I pass off Speed, possibly a Sub & Leichi Berry too will kill Scizor. If it really comes down to it, Weavile will be there on the rebound to SD and finish with Ice Shards, but only if needed. This situation has come up many times, each time I've been able to beat Scizor with Saintress or Dizzy.

Ice Shard does pitiful damage to Scizor, also every intelligent player could bring a Scizor in your Ninjask to set-up, at the moment you pass off a speed boost, Scizor is on the position to sweep you.

"Dizzy" and "Saintress" go down to a +2 LO X-Scissor, so no, you cant wall Scizor, add a Magnezone or a Heatran somewhere.

Honestly you have no idea what you're doing. Nothing on your team is going to make use of passed speed apart from MAYBE Dragonite. Your opponent is free to do whatever they want on Ninjask, who is completely useless on any team that doesn't use Baton Pass. 252 Speed is unnecessary. At least make him bulky enough to take a Bullet Punch (check the analysis)

You have 3 Focus Sashers and not one of them is a lead. They're all 2x weak to SR. If your opponent gets SR up on Ninjask (read: likely), those Sashes are useless.

I'd suggest Fire Blast > Stone Edge on Mence with Naughty nature and 24 SAtk EVs.

Scizor > Weavile. He does SD + Priority better. He does CB better.

Psychic sucks on Slowbro. Ice Beam or HP Electric allow him to at least counter Mence or Gyarados respectively.

Psychic is again horrible on Cresselia. Moonlight only restores 25% in Sand and Tyranitar is fairly common, so ResTalk > Psychic + Moonlight. You'd probably want another attack over Calm Mind as well.

Dragonite is doing absolutely nothing that Salamence isn't. Even if it wasn't completely redundant and needless to have Dragonite and Mence on the same team, Thunderpunch and Aerial Ace are kind of useless on him. Honestly Dragonite doesn't make a great DDer since he can get revenged nearly as easily as Mence and is considerably slower. Replace him, or at least use a wallbreaker set, as it's one thing that he inarguably does different than Mence (although "better" would be debateable).

Overall, that SD Scizor weak? It's true. It comes in on Ninjask and can get off at least one or two SDs. It can break your sub as you pass it. If it gets two SDs off it will OHKO...

Mence with Bullet Punch.
Weavile with Bullet Punch. Your Ice Shard will go first and you will probably do about 10%.
Slowbro with X-Scissor.
Cresselia with X-Scissor.
Dragonite with Bullet Punch.

To be fair this requires that the opponent has rocks up since you have so many goddamn sashes. It's not completely infeasible that your opponent sets up rocks and then goes to Scizor. Or sets up rocks and just sweeps you a bit later. Also note that none of your sashed Pokemon can handle Scizor in one hit, even if you do hold on with your sash.

Slowbro and Cresselia are incredibly redundant as they both are physical walls that are incredibly Pursuit weak. CB Tyranitar can come in on both of these and Pursuit trap you, or just Crunch you. Salamence needs a boost to OHKO with EQ while he can't take a Stone Edge (possibly with Intimidate). Dragonite fares worse. Weavile has a chance of revenging at least, but can't switch in since it's OHKOed by Stone Edge.

Yeah. Post some descriptions, otherwise it will be locked.

I'd suggest swapping out your dragonite for an infernape. Currently, your team has three pokes that take 4x damage from ice type attacks, 2 that take 2x from dark, and 2 that take 2x from bug, so an infernape would help on all counts.

If you are wandering when the smart player will get the free switch into scizor, it will look like this (for smart players):

Ninjask Protect, (POKE) uses attack
Ninjask Sub, (POKE) uses attack
Ninjask Protect, (POKE) Stealth Rock

This screws over 1/2 your team, and in the same manner, allows a scizor a free switch in

So tell him what to do to fix it then! Read the rules.
