Persian's uncontested Speed tier, Technician Fake Out, and solid coverage make it a decent, although weak, revenge killer. However, it suffers extreme competition in this role from Pikachu, which boasts Extreme Speed and a greater offensive presence at the expense of some Speed. Fake Out lets Persian get extra damage on the foe without punishment and stall for extra poison damage, letting it follow up with Double-Edge in order to secure KOs on targets like the Silvally formes. Fake Out can also be used to pick off heavily weakened targets that have boosted their Speed, like Fraxure, in a pinch. Knock Off removes items from bulky switch-ins that otherwise disregard anything Persian can do to them, such as Mawile, Dusclops, and Hippopotas, and provides coverage for Ghost-types like Drakloak. U-turn lets Persian keep up momentum for its team, saving it from floundering against bulky foes like Stonjourner, Mawile, and Dusclops. Hypnosis can be used over Knock Off to better cripple switch-ins like Mawile but is unreliable due to its poor accuracy and leaves Persian unable to damage Ghost-types outside of U-turn. Silk Scarf is preferred in order to boost Persian's most important attacks without further cutting into its already limited longevity. Technician is vital in order to let Fake Out deal significant damage.

Persian is a good fit for bulky offense teams utilizing Spikes, which help it gradually overwhelm its switch-ins with Spikes damage, Fake Out, and U-turn. Offensive Roselia is an effective Spiker that Persian can bring in on switchins such as Mareanie, Gourgeist, and Dubwool via U-turn to set up Spikes. Roselia can also utilize Sleep Powder to put shared checks like Mawile and Pawniard to sleep. Offensive entry hazard setters like Crustle and Pawniard help weaken foes early-game, and their hazards greatly aid Persian in its role as a revenge killer. Persian can form an effective VoltTurn core with teammates like Manectric, Raichu, and Raboot, all of which can cover Pokemon that can safely switch in on Persian such as Mawile, Stonjourner, and Pawniard. Silvally-Psychic can put offensive pressure on Fighting-types Persian struggles with, such as Throh, Falinks, and Hitmontop, while also threatening to set up and breaking down targets like Mawile to help Persian clean late-game. Mr. Rime can't switch in easily but can pressure Throh and Hitmontop, and its access to hazard control helps keep Persian from being overwhelmed by residual damage. Stacking other priority users like Pawniard and Falinks with Persian can form a powerful anti-setup core that takes pressure off Persian. Both examples also deter Defog with Defiant, making them good choices for teams utilizing Spikes.

Persian's uncontested Speed stat, Technician Fake Out, and solid coverage make it a decent, if weak, revenge killer. Fake Out lets Persian pick off weakened targets that are boosted to become faster than it, such as Eiscue, Flame Charge Silvally, and Fraxure, and can also provide safe extra damage on opponents that don't switch out. Double-Edge is vital, despite its drawback, in order to offset Persian's extremely lacking offensive stats. Knock Off provides utility that lets it have an impact on bulky switchins that otherwise disregard anything Persian can do to them, such as Mawileand additionally provides coverage for Ghost-types like Drakloak and Gastly specifically mention Dusclops here too that it otherwise can't significantly harm. U-Turn lets Persian keep up momentum for its team, saving it from floundering against bulky opponents like Stonjourner and Mawile. Mention Hypnosis as an option over Knock Off, allowing it to cripple switch ins like Mawile, but mention how it can be an unreliable option due to its low accuracy, and leaves it unable to touch ghost types directly. Silk Scarf is preferred in order to boost Persian's most important attacks without further cutting into its already limited longevity. Technician is vital in order to let Fake Out deal significant damage, and far better than Persian's other Abilities. Maximum Speed investment and a Jolly Nature are required in order to outrun the likes of Raichu and Manectric.

Persian is a good fit for hyper offense teams that can't afford to fit defensive countermeasures to sweepers. Honestly Pikachu tends to be a better fit on Hyper Offense for this sort of role, with its greater power/wallbreaking ability, and double priority. You should focus more on how Persian is a great fit for Spikes bulky offenses, which can help to overwhelm its switch ins with the combination of spikes + fake out/u-turn. Mention Pokemon that can facilitate the sort of hazard stacking Persian appreciates. Offensive Spikes Roselia in particular is one of the best partners for Persian here. Persian tends to let the opponent freely switch in Pokemon like Mawile, Stonjourner, and Pawniard that can shrug off its resisted attacks and launch their own, more powerful attacks off in return. Teammates like Manectric and Raichu Raboot would be an excellent mention to bring up here too, taking advantage of Mawile excellently for Persian, forming a great momentum core with it, and providing additional priority, while being able to wallbreak for Persian. can take advantage of these threats when switched in safely via Persian's U-Turn, giving them solid offensive synergy.. Offensive hazard setters like Crustle, Stonjourner, Golurk, and Pawniard and Glalie help build momentum at the start of the battle, and their hazards greatly aid Persian in its role as a revenge killer. bump this up to the beginning, with other hazards mentions. Silvally-Psychic can put offensive pressure on Fighting-types Persian struggles with, such as Throh, Falinks, and Hitmontop, while also threatening setup. Include Mr Rime as a mention here too, its Rapid Spin support in particular is super valuable to stop persian being overwhelmed, also include a mention of Rapidash Galar, and comment on its ability to provide Healing Wish support for Persian. Comment on how these mons can all wallbreak for Persian, in particular weakening Mawile, allowing it to clean up late game. Stacking other priority users, like Pawniard and the aforementioned Glalie, Falinks alongside Persian can create a powerful anti-setup core that takes pressure off Persian. Mention how Pawniard can help to deter spikes from being Defogged.

Persian's uncontested Speed stat, Technician Fake Out, and solid coverage make it a decent, if weak, revenge killer. this is framed way too positively for what's in practice a very mediocre mon rn; specifically the extreme competition it faces from pikachu must be mentioned here Fake Out lets Persian pick off weakened targets that are boosted to become faster than it, such as Eiscue unmon that u can't even beat reliably as u have to rely on its ice face being down, non-Flame Charge Silvally this should never be relied on to revenge kill flame charge silvally. fake out does 25%, and Fraxure, and can also provide safe extra damage on opponents that don't switch out. the main point of fake out is that it stalls out toxic turns and it is used in combination with double edge to revenge kill fast mons such as galar dash and non-flame charge vally. fake out alone can *very situationally* revenge kill weakened stuff, most of the time you're doing like 30% vs. faster targets like +1 silvally and it's really in situations like these where pikachu very clearly outperforms persian. Double-Edge is vital, despite its drawback, in order to offset Persian's extremely lacking offensive stats. no need to talk about double edge by itself, just talk about what it does together with fake out Knock Off provides utility that lets it have an impact on bulky switchins that otherwise disregard anything Persian can do to them, such as Mawile, and additionally provides coverage for Ghost-types like Drakloak, Dusclops, and Gastly that it otherwise can't significantly harm the drakloak mention is fine, dusclops u merely annoy as it actually beats u 1v1 so it would be better to group this together with other switch-ins that it cripples like ston and hippopotas, and gastly is a digimon. U-Turn lets Persian keep up momentum for its team, saving it from floundering against bulky opponents like Stonjourner and Mawile. Hypnosis can be used to better cripple switchins like Mawile, but is unreliable due to its poor accuracy and leaves Persian unable to directly harm Ghost-types outside of U-Turn. Silk Scarf is preferred in order to boost Persian's most important attacks without further cutting into its already limited longevity. Technician is vital in order to let Fake Out deal significant damage, and far better than Persian's other Abilities. Maximum Speed investment and a Jolly Nature are required in order to outrun the likes of Raichu and Manectric fluff.

Persian is a great fit for bulky offense teams utilising Spikes that can't afford to fit defensive countermeasures to sweepers and can gradually overwhelm Persian's switchins via hazard damage, Fake Out and U-Turn. uh, the whole point about bulky offense teams not being able to fit defensive mons doesn't make any sense. just say that it's an okay fit on hazard stacking teams Offensive Roselia is an effective Spikes setter that can switch in throughout a game and set them up which helps Persian to wear down its answers consistently roselia switches in on what? any examples? how does this matter for persian and what makes it warrant a dedicated bullet over any other hazard setters u mention later?. Offensive hazard setters like Crustle, Stonjourner rocks ston is very much outclassed by golurk rn, Golurk, and Pawniard can help build momentum at the start of the battle how?, and their hazards greatly aid Persian in its role as a revenge killer. Persian tends to let the opponent freely switch in Pokemon like Mawile, Stonjourner, and Pawniard that can shrug off its resisted attacks and launch their own, more powerful attacks off in return. Teammates like Manectric, Raichu, and Raboot can take advantage of these threats when switched in safely via Persian's U-Turn, giving them solid offensive synergy, and can all form a threatening momentum core with Persian by utilizing Volt Switch or U-Turn themselves. the italicized part is factually good, and especially the comment about bringing these partners in safely is important, but it's otherwise a very fluffy way of saying "pair persian with voltturn mons to form a voltturn core". try to condense this before sending to gp Silvally-Psychic and Galarian Rapidash can put offensive pressure on Fighting-types Persian struggles with, such as Throh, Falinks, and Hitmontop, while also threatening setup or, in Rapidash-G's case, being able to support Persian with Healing Wish ik esta told u to add this but very rarely would u want to spend ur hwish on persian over any other mon, it's just not worth pointing out. Mr. Rime can't switch in easily but can also pressure these Pokemon well it can't switch in at all, and non-scarf rime can't even check falinks. just say that it can pressure throh and top, and its access to hazard control helps keep Persian from being overwhelmed by residual damage. These Psychic-types are all effective at wallbreaking for Persian to clean up late game, notably being effective at weakening Mawile. Stacking other priority users like Pawniard with Persian can form a powerful anti-setup core that takes pressure off Persian. Pawniard also deters removal with Defiant, making it a great fit on teams utilizing Spikes.
