Welcome to Pacifistmons! (AKA Lamemons!)

Pacifistmons is a new Metagame where you cannot use attacking moves!
To play just grab a friend and play an XY Ubers match! Or play at: Joim's Lab!

BANS (bold stuff is new bans):
Gengarite
Taunt
Heatran
Wish, Softboiled, Heal Order, Milk Drink, Roost, Recover, Rest, Slack Off, Synthesis, Morning Sun, Moonlight, and Swallow.
Magic Guard
Regenerator

SOME REPLAYS:

Movesets to get you started:

Yamask @ Leftovers/Shed Shell
Ability: Mummy
Level: 3
EVs: 132 Def / 156 SDef
Bold Nature
IVs: null HP / null Atk
- Block
- Pain Split
- Curse
- Substitute

(not that the evs actually matter)

Basically, what you do with this set is use block to trap the enemy, then kill then with curse. Heal block is to prevent them from regenerating. Pain split can basically be used to both halve the enemy's hp and top up yours because you are at lvl 3.
The reason this set is at lvl 3 is because at lvl 3 and 0 hp evs you have a whopping total of FIFTEEN hp points, which is important in a meta entirely based around indirect damage. Because of the way rounding works, you'll end up surving a bit more of toxic/burn/curse/hazards damage.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Loppunny @ Assault Vest
Ability: Klutz
Evs: 252 Hp /252 Spe/ 4 Def
IVs: null Atk
Timid/Jolly nature
-Switcheroo
-Encore
-Toxic
-Magic Coat
Other Options: Copycat, Swagger, Baton Pass, Heal Bell
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Swoobat @ Assualt Vest
Ability: Klutz
Evs: 252 Hp/252 Spe/4 Def
IVs: null Atk
Timid/Jolly nature
-Trick
-Magic Coat
-Roost
-Toxic

Other Options: Skill swap (lol), Imprison, psycho shift, Safeguard actually useful

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Murkrow @ Shed Shell
Ability: Prankster
Level: 2
EVs: 140 SDef / 228 Def
Calm Nature
IVs: null Atk
- Roost
- Mean Look
- Perish Song
- Thunder Wave
Lvl 2 for 15 hp, like yamask above.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Druddigon @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: null Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Glare
- Protect
- Roar

Other Options: Swagger, Torment, Toxic, Substitute, RestTalk (lol)

Not sure if this was really the greatest set for druddigon, I was just looking for a moldy rocks user.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gardevoir @ Shed Shell/Rocky Helmet
Ability: Synchronize/Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: null Atk
- Mean Look
- Encore
- Disable
- Wish
Other Options:
I was originally using smeargle for this move set, but then I realized Gardevoir could do the same thing with better stats.
Basically, you use Mean Look to trap them, then encore the last move they used. Disable that move. After that, they are forced to use struggle, and they die from the recoil damage.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Aurorus @ Leftovers
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nature Power
- Calm Mind / Hail
- Substitute
- Encore / Hail

Wins the game if you take out things that can hurt it through Sub (Infiltrator, Encore, Toxic Spikes, Roar, etc).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lapras@Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVS:252HP/4Def/252+Spe (Doesn't matter much tbh)
Nature: Any (Speed Boosting)
-Block
-Perish Song
-Protect
-Refresh/Rain Dance
Pretty basic set.Advantage: Gets rid of status on itself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Trevenant@Sitrus
Ability: Harvest
EVS: 252/4 spD/252+ Spe
Nature: Any (Speed Raising)
-Substitute
-Curse
-Leech Seed
-Filler

Notable Alternative: Lum + Rest.

Pretty basic set, maybe the Cofrag can do it better, but this has solid recovery.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Smeargle @ Leftovers
Ability: Any
EVs" 252/4/252+
Nature: Any(Speed Raising)
-Block
-Spore
-Imprison
-Transform
Self-explanatory trap set.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sweeper Set Courtesy Flint!!

Xerneas@Power Herb
EVs: 252hp/252spA
Nature: Any
-Geomancy
-Misty Terrain
-Nature Power
-Aromatherapy

Boost and sweep. gg
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pro Tip: To find EVERY move allowed go to on showdown and type in 'status' in the move slot on a smeargle.
Thanks to Arcticblast, Kit Kasai, and Flint for helping make some movesets! :)
Awesome :D
It's finally here!
You should give credit to mamp and flint and whoever else helped with this. Also, I forgot recovery is banned, so heal block is obsolete. So you can remove it from the sets.
Seems neat. Fire types / Poison types may play a core role in teams considering the former don't mind taking WoW's and the latter are immune to Toxic as well as removing the TSpikes (which must/might be common in this meta).
Spikes, SR, TSpikes and status inflicting moves may be good, and the Prankster mons will play the core role with the faster status inflicting. In the end it might be whoever knows to predict well on incoming moves and the one with better abilities to support the mon may win.
Quite interesting as well.
Y'all jokers must be crazy
Klutz + AV sounds pretty interesting there. Combine that with Lopunny's high speed and it effectively cripples the rest.
I just realized, due to speed being the only stat that matters (other than having hp divisibility), a lot of not so dangerous mons, are given another chance in this meta. I want to look at that now.
Trick resistance seems very crucial in this meta due to the overwhelming power of tricking a vest. Mail is a good option since knock off can't be used. Are there any viable megas in this meta? Maybe Banette for prankster.
Knock Off is an Attack.
Also, Poison Touch Sticky Hold Muk ftw?
passive aggression battles ftw Is weather damage fair game in this?
Also, even though the answer is probably no, how about metronome since nature power is up there?
I guess AV will be popular... but doesn't it make it a bit good too? Having max Atk just for that will be silly, but if you get passed an AV from Klutz Lopunny you can deal damage with Struggle.
If your Atk is high and you have Guts / aren't burned then getting passed an AV isn't that bad. But then again, it's silly to have max Atk just for that.
And as always, just a thought.
you ain't sweeping shit with a 50 bp typeless attack anytime soon lol
it's not like aurorus where you can cheat and get fridge-boosted tri attack via nature power
what exactly is the recovery ban btw? are moves like recover/rest banned?
That sounds like the dumbest gamemode possible.
1. Everyone gets leftovers, it will reduce the damage from struggle.
2. Pick the highest PP attacks, stuff like Aqua Ring to add more regeneration and just wait until the enemy quits after 250+ turns.
3. Assuming status' can still be thrown. Everyone will pick Gliscor. He can't be statused after his toxic heal kicks in and that counts as 2 leftovers.
You seriously need to get trapped by a Contrary Shuckle or something broken like Heal Pulse Slowbro, then you can start recommending game modes.
running leftovers on everything is bound to get you screwed over by perish trappers...
and there's heal block too. you can screw gliscor over by running worry seed. in a metagame where only status moves are allowed, nearly everything goes lol
I'm surprise nobody has mentioned substitute:
Whimsicott @ Leftovers
Ability: Pranster
Evs: 252 Hp / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Timid nature
-Substitute
-Leech Seed
-Toxic
-Swagger / Encore / Protect / Worry Seed
Watch as the opponent is incapable of doing anything (unless he has Nature Power, though you should have a sub up by then)
Gengar is very viable in this meta. Trick + Disable for forcing Struggle, Sub, since you know.... Get a free sub from Struggle lol, and Pain split, if Subs are wearing you down.
Someone who looks really threatening is Mega Absol
Absol @ Absolite
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Spd / 8 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Mean Look
- Perish Song
- Will-O-Wisp / Toxic
- Torment / Baton Pass / Thunder Wave
Mega Absol is scary for many reasons. First of all, Magic Bounce lets it deflect most moves used in the game, such as Toxic and Will-o-Wisp. Second, you can't give it AV because it has to hold a Mega Stone, which would be a huge threat otherwise since Magic Bounce doesn't deflect Switcheroo/Trick (and is one of many reasons why Absol is better than Espeon and Xatu). Finally, it gets access to 3 2 amazing moves - Taunt, Mean Look, and Perish Song. Will-o-Wisp and Toxic occupy the last slot, allowing you to damage Soundproof mons that try to block your Perish Song, such as Electrode and Bastiodon. Will-o-Wisp is the main slot because nothing with Soundproof is immune to Will-o-Wisp. However, only Bastiodon is immune to Toxic, so if you don't afraid Bastiodon, then Toxic is a worthy alternative. The name of the game is simple - Mean Look then Perish Song. You dont have much to worry about because of Magic Bounce and your Mega Stone, so Taunt becomes a great move to shut down everything outside of other Magic Bouncers and Oblivious users. 248 HP gives you an odd number, which is better I think. EVs don't really matter though - all you need is max speed with a positive nature.
Speaking of Bastiodon, it could be a threat thanks to Soundproof and Magic Coat, but idk.
Is wish banned?
I'm curious what the recovery clause encompasses.
Wish is banned, basically anything like soft-boiled or heal order is banned. But things that drain HP such as pain split and leech seed are allowed. I'm not sure about ingrain and aqua ring yet.
