[OVERVIEW]

Due to Pangoro's insane Attack stat, coverage, and STAB attacks, it has paved itself a path to being one of the scariest wallbreakers in the tier. Pangoro can utilize a Choice Band set, making it an even more powerful wallbreaker. In addition to this, Pangoro has access to Swords Dance, which can destroy teams if all of its checks have been removed from the field, specifically passive cores such as Registeel + Slowbro. However, it suffers from a fairly low Speed stat and poor defensive typing, which makes it revenge killed easily. Due to this, Defensive Pokemon such as Florges and Mandibuzz can neutralize it with enough Speed creep. In addition to Pangoro's Speed stat, it's typing gives it a weakness to Fairy-types, Flying-types, and Fighting-types such as Florges, Noivern, and Virizion, which are all very prominent in the tier. Furthermore, Pangoro has fierce competition with the plethora of other Fighting-types in the tier, including Virizion, Bewear, and Passimian, all of which either have better Speed tiers, reliable recovery, or better natural bulk. Due to this, finding a spot to fit Pangoro on a team is difficult, which ultimately results in its lack of usage. Although all of the former is true, Pangoro is extremely difficult to pivot around which makes it a valid option as a Fighting-type.

Moves
========

Knock Off is Pangoro's most spammable move due to its secondary effect of removing the foe's item. Drain Punch gives Pangoro a strong Fighting-type STAB and some passive recovery. This is important, as it helps Pangoro come in more frequently to dish out powerful attacks. Bullet Punch is a fairly weak but necessary on Choice Band Pangoro, as it KOes Fairy-types such as Diancie, Florges, and Gardevoir with just a little bit of chip and can revenge kill weakened faster Pokemon in general. Moreover, Superpower provides Pangoro with an even stronger Fighting-type STAB move that deals immense damage to anything that can afford to take a hit. Superpower allows Pangoro to always 2HKO slow Milotic, and it has a shot to 2HKO Tangela after Stealth Rock damage. While this all sounds promising, Drain Punch is ultimately the most useful STAB move, as it still is extremely strong due to Iron Fist and it lets gives Pangoro longevity. Superpower also has the drawback of lowering Pangoro's Attack and Defense every single time it is used. This is annoying as it makes Pangoro easier to pivot around which negates one of its main assests. Gunk Shot can be utilized to destroy any Fairy-types that may want to switch in on an expected Dark- or Fighting-type move. However, Bullet Punch is usually more useful, as the only thing Gunk Shot really provides is a guaranteed OHKO on Florges, which is often faster than Pangoro anyway. Thunder Punch gives Pangoro a midground option that hits the likes of Slowbro, Milotic, and Mandibuzz.

Set Details
========

Pangoro's EV spread is straightforward with maximum Attack and maximum Speed investment combined with an Adamant nature, allowing Pangoro to dish out the most damage.

Usage Tips
========

Pangoro loves to be brought in via slow U-turns and Volt Switches and fire off immensely powerful attacks that punch holes through the opponent's team. Pangoro doesn't have the greatest bulk, so it can be easily worn down, which is why it loves to be brought in safely instead of through a manual switch. Pangoro should be brought in as much as possible throughout the early phase of the match as it helps break down defensive cores due to its amazing coverage options. If the opponent lacks a suitable Pangoro check, then every single time Pangoro is on the field unthreatened, it can very easily claim a KO. Pangoro should typically utilize Knock Off the most, as it is an easily spammable move due to its secondary effect of removing the foe's item.

Team Options
========

Pangoro can find itself useful on a bunch of different teams, varying from hyper offense to even balance. It loves being brought in via VoltTurn synergy, making Noivern, Flygon, and Vikavolt amazing partners for Pangoro. Noivern can also lure in Rock- and Steel-types so Pangoro can come in and deal out another powerful attack. Pokemon such as Registeel, Salazzle, Escavalier, and Roserade punish Fairy-types for Pangoro, while Pokemon such as Slowbro, Cresselia, and Golisopod eat up Fighting-type attacks. Setup sweepers such as Raikou, Necrozma, and the aforementioned Salazzle appreciate Pangoro's wallbreaking capabilities making it easier for them to set up and clean late-game.

[SET]
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Drain Punch
move 4: Bullet Punch
item: Life Orb / Lum Berry
ability: Iron Fist
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Drain Punch is Pangoro's most spammable move, as not only is it a strong attack due to Iron Fist and Life Orb, but it also recovers a decent amount of HP. Knock Off is Pangoro's main Dark-type STAB attack that can dish out powerful attacks. Bullet Punch is absolutely pivotal on Swords Dance Pangoro, helping it out against weakened faster attacks as well as dealing with Fairy-type Pokemon.

Set Details
========

Life Orb further increases Pangoro's offensive prowess. Combined with a +2 Attack boost from Swords Dance, Pangoro with Life Orb is devastating to switch into. However, Life Orb recoil may become troublesome in more drawn-out games. Lum Berry is another option as an item, as it allows Pangoro to be cured once from any burns or poisons that could trouble its sweeping or wallbreaking ability. This can be useful for setting up on Pokemon such as Registeel and Milotic, which want to cripple Pangoro by statusing it. This can put Pangoro in an amazing position, as it now has complete momentum and +2 Attack.

Usage Tips
========

Pangoro can be extremely useful without even using Swords Dance, as its amazing offensive typing allows it to deal with the likes of Snorlax, Bronzong, Slowbro, and Gigalith. Due to this, if it is noted that Pangoro will have a tough time being able to set up, it can easily just spam its STAB moves in Knock Off and Drain Punch. If the opportunity arises, Pangoro can afford to set up where Bullet Punch could clean up any faster attackers. However, Swords Dance Pangoro is typically used more as a wallbreaker. Pangoro should mainly be brought in through slow U-turn or passive attacks, as its moderate bulk doesn't allow it to take many hits. If Pangoro wants to come in to set up, it should do so after an allied Pokemon has fainted or it has been brought onto the field without taking any unnecessary residual damage. This Pangoro set can also take advantage of common cores such as Registeel + Slowbro and blow them away with its strong STAB attacks.

Team Options
========

Swords Dance Pangoro loves to be paired with bulky Psychic-types such as Cresselia, Slowbro, and bulky Necrozma, as one of its primary threats is the plethora of faster Fighting-types that can revenge kill it. Swords Dance Pangoro also adores Pokemon that can chip away at faster threats so that it can sweep with more ease. This can include Spikes or Toxic Spikes users like Roserade and Dragalge as well as Pokemon that can utilize Toxic effectively such as Slowbro, Bronzong, and Registeel. The latter Bronzong and Registeel deserve a special mention for many reasons, as they can eat up Fairy-type attacks, provide Stealth Rock, and chip away foes with Toxic, Seismic Toss, or Psywave. Faster revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Gardevoir and Flygon appreciate Pangoro's wallbreaking capability, which allows them to clean up or help Pangoro out by removing faster threats that force it out.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Jolly nature can be used to outpace Adamant Bewear, which can be useful from time to time, but it severely cuts into Pangoro's offensive capability. Scrappy is another amazing offensive ability that can be used with Superpower or Drain Punch to hit Ghost-types such as Palossand or Mismagius on the potential switch. However, Ghost types are already reluctant to switch in on Pangoro, as they fear being hit by Knock Off.

Checks and Counters.
===================

**Fairy-types**: While Fairy-types such as Gardevoir, Florges, and Diancie don't appreciate Bullet Punch or Gunk Shot, they can either outspeed it or take an unboosted Bullet Punch and then proceed to OHKO Pangoro with Moonblast.

**Fighting-types**: The plethora of faster Fighting-type Pokemon, such as Passimian, Virizion, and Toxicroak, all scare Pangoro out. Toxicroak resists both of Pangoro's STAB types, making it a more reliable check. Passimian has above-average physical bulk, which makes it a good check to Pangoro. However, no Fighting-type wants to switch into a +2 Pangoro, as most of them will take massive damage and be ultimately crippled for the rest of the match.

**Flying-types**: Flying-type Pokemon such as Noivern, Mandibuzz, and Golbat outspeed Pangoro and threaten it with their STAB moves in Hurricane and Brave Bird. None of them appreciate directly switching into Pangoro, though, especially if Stealth Rock is up.

**Faster Pokemon**: Due to Pangoro's lacking Speed tier, it can easily be revenge killed by a plethora of faster offensive Pokemon, including Noivern, Mega Sceptile, Salazzle, Passimian, and Virizion. While some of these revenge killers need previous chip in order to successfully revenge kill Pangoro, a handful of them can flat out come in and OHKO it. However, it should be taken into account that all of these revenge killers can be knocked out via Bullet Punch if they don't have enough HP remaining.

  • Due to Pangoro's insane attack stat, amazing coverage, and prominent offensive abilities, it's paved itself a path to being one of the most scariest wallbreakers in the tier. iron fist is goros only common ability - update this sentence 2 reflect it. you can replace it w something like its great stab combo
  • It has access to Swords Dance which can be paired with Mold Breaker to destroy stall teams as well as furthering Pangoro's offensive prowess. delete mold breaker mention. u can say something about being able 2 run cb and sd sets and how they affect different matchups
  • Even though Pangoro's attack stat is through the roof, it suffers with a fairly slow speed stat which allows it to get revenge killed fairly easily. mention that lots of defensive pokemon can creep it and neuter it by doing so eg z cress/florg
  • In addition to Pangoro's speed stat, it's typing gives it a weakness to Fairy, Flying, and Fighting types which are all very prominent in the tier. general analysis tip - always give examples. what prominent fairy/flying/fighter mons take advantage of it?
  • Pangoro has fierce competition with the plethora of other fighting types in the tier, such as Virizion, Bewear, and Machamp, who all either have better speed tiers, reliable recovery, or better natural bulk. good, but mention this makes it exceedingly hard 2 fit on a team and is the main reason it doesnt see much play

  • Knock Off is Pangoro's best midground attack, providing it with a strong Dark type STAB that removes the foe's item. u dont need 2 have a bullet for points that are self evident (like i dont think anyone would consider not running non-knock pangoro), only if u have something relevant to mention
  • Drain Punch, which is boosted by Iron Fist, gives Pangoro a strong Fighting type STAB that provides Pangoro with some passive recovery which overall helps increase it's longevity. why is this more important than superpower?
  • While being a fairly weak priority move, Bullet Punch is necessary on Choice Band Pangoro as it allows to KO fairies such as Diancie, Florges, and Gardevoir with just a little bit of chip. In addition to this, Pangoro will OHKO Gardevoir with Bullet Punch at +2 and can KO Florges with just a tiny bit of chip. not worth
Checks and Counters
===================

**Fairy-types**: While Fairy types such as Gardevoir, Florges, or Diancie dont appreciate Bullet Punch, or for the former Gunk Shot, they can either outspeed it and avoid Gunk shot or have the ability to take an unboosted pullet punch and then proceed to ohko Pangoro with moonblast.

**Fighting-types**: The plethora of faster fighting type pokemon, such as Passimian, Virizion, or Toxicroak, all scare Pangoro out. Toxicroak resits both of Pangoro's stab options making it a more reliable check. Passimian also has above-average physical bulk which makes it a good check to Pangoro. However, no fighting type wants to switch into a +2 Pangoro as most of them will take massive damage and will be ultimately crippled for the rest of the match.

**Flying-types**: Flying type pokemon such as Noivern, Mandibuzz, or Golbat all outspeed Pangoro and threaten it with its stab moves of Hurricane and Brave Bird. None of them appreciate hard switching into Pangoro, especially if stealth rocks are up, but its still something to look out for when using Pangoro.

**Faster Pokemon**: Due to Pangoro's lacking speed tier, it can easily be revenge killed by a plethora of faster pokemon including but most certainly not limited Noivern, Sceptile-Mega, Salazzle, Passimian, and Virizion. While some of these revenge killers need previous chip in order to sucessfuly revenge kill Pangoro, a handful of them can flat out come in and OHKO it without any prior chip. However, it should be taken into account that all of these revenge killers can be knocked out via Bullet Punch if they don't have enough HP remaining.

  • Due to Pangoro's insane attack stat, amazing coverage, and prominent STAB attacks, it's paved itself a path to being one of the most scariest wallbreakers in the tier.
  • It has access to Swords Dance which can destroy teams if all of its checks have been removed from the field. It also can utilize a Choice Band set, making it a powerful wallbreaker.
  • Even though Pangoro's attack stat is through the roof, it suffers with a fairly slow speed stat which allows it to get revenge killed fairly easily. Due to this, defensive mons such as Florges or Mandibuzz can speed creep it with ease and neutralize it.
  • In addition to Pangoro's speed stat, it's typing gives it a weakness to Fairy, Flying and Fighting types such as Florges, Noivern, and Virizion which are all very prominent in the tier.
  • Pangoro has fierce competition with the plethora of other fighting types in the tier, such as Virizion, Bewear, and Passimian, who all either have better speed tiers, reliable recovery, or better natural bulk. Due to this, finding a spot to fit Pangoro on a team is difficult which ultimately results in its lack of usage.

Moves

  • Drain Punch, which is boosted by Iron Fist, gives Pangoro a strong Fighting type STAB that provides Pangoro with some passive recovery which overall helps increase it's longevity. This is important as it helps Pangoro come in more frequently to dish out powerful attacks.
  • While being a fairly weak priority move, Bullet Punch is necessary on Choice Band Pangoro as it allows to KO fairies such as Diancie, Florges, and Gardevoir with just a little bit of chip. Also, because of Pangoro's slow speed tier, a priority move is nice as it allows Pangoro to revenge kill speedier Pokemon that have been weakened.
  • Superpower provides Pangoro with an even stronger Fighting type STAB move that deals immense damage to anything that wants to take the hit. Superpower allows Pangoro to always 2HKO slow Milotic, and it has a shot to 2HKO Tangela after rocks. While this all sounds promising, Drain Punch is ultimately the most useful stab move as it still is extremely strong due to Iron Fist and it lets Pangoro recover to give it longevity. Superpower also has the drawback of lowering attack and defense every single time it is used.
  • Gunk Shot destroys any fairies that may want to switch in on an expected Dark or Fighting type move. mention bullet punch already mostly covers fairies and give examples of where gunk is more useful then
  • Thunder Punch gives Pangoro a midground option that hits the likes of Slowbro, Milotic, or Mandibuzz.

Usage Tips
========
  • Pangoro loves to be brought in via slow U-turns and Volt Switches and fire off immensely powerful attacks that punch holes through the opponent's team.
  • Knock Off is Pangoro's easiest spam move due to it's secondary effect of removing the foe's item.
  • Pangoro should be brought in as much as possible throughout the early phase of the match as it helps break down defensive cores due to its amazing coverage options. If the opponent is lacking a suitable Pangoro check, then usually, every single time Pangoro is on the field unthreatened, it can very easily claim a KO.
  • Keep in mind that Pangoro doesn't have the greatest bulk so it can be easily worn down, which is why it loves to be brought in safely instead of a hard switch.
Team Options
========

  • Pangoro can can find itself useful on a bunch of different teams varying from hyper offense to even balance.
  • Pangoro loves being brought in via VoltTurn synergy making Noivern, Flygon, and Vikavolt amazing partners for Pangoro. Noivern can also lure in Rock and Steel types and U-Turn out so Pangoro can come in and deal out another powerful attack.
  • Pangoro's annoying weakness to Fairy types makes Pokemon such as Registeel, Salazzle, Escavalier, and Roserade also good teammates for Pangoro.
  • In addition to this, due to the plethora of Fighting types in the tier, Pangoro appreciates Pokemon that can eat up Fighting type moves such as Slowbro, Cresselia, or Golisopod
  • Set up sweepers such as Raikou, Necrozma, and the aforementioned Salazzle appreciate Pangoro's wallbreaking capabilities to make it easier for them to set up and clean late game.

Moves
========

  • On this set, Drain Punch is Pangoro's most spammable move as its not only a strong attack due to Iron Fist and Life Orb, but it also recovers a decent amount of HP, helping out with Pangoro's longevity.
  • Bullet Punch is absolutely pivotal on Swords Dance Pangoro as it provides Pangoro with a priority stab that can help it out vs weakened faster attacks as well as dealing with fairies.

Set Details
========

  • Life Orb is a good item as it further increases Pangoro's offensive prowess. Combined with a +2 attack boost from Swords Dance, Pangoro with Life Orb will be devastating to switch in to. However, Life Orb does claim 1/10th of Pangoro's HP every single time it attacks and while paired with its already moderate bulk, this may be a problem down the road. replace last sentence w "however, life orb recoil can prove troublesome in drawn-out games" or something similar, it reads better
  • Lum Berry is another option as an item as it allows Pangoro to be cured once from any burns or toxics that could trouble its sweeping or breaking ability. This can be useful for setting up on pokemon such as Registeel or Milotic who want to cripple Pangoro by statusing it. This can put Pangoro in an amazing position as it now as complete momentum as well as being +2 attack.

Usage Tips
========

  • Pangoro can also be extremely useful without Swords Dance as its amazing offensive typing allows it to deal with the likes of Snorlax, Brozong, Slowbro, Gigalith, etc. Due to this, if it is noted that Pangoro will have a tough time being able to set up, it can easily just spam its STAB moves in Knock Off and Drain Punch.
  • Pangoro should attempt to set up with Swords Dance when all of its faster foes have been weakened to the point of Bullet Punch or have been removed entirely from the battlefield. well pangoros main thing isnt really "sweeper w prio" its more of a "fat killer that can occasionally sweep if the stars align" - c/p'd from last check. you can say "if the opportunity arises, pangoro can clean up a weakened team w bp - however it is a breaker first"
  • Pangoro should mainly be brought in through slow uturns or weak resisted attacks as its moderate bulk doesnt allow it to take as many hits as it wants to. If Pangoro wants to come in to set up, it should do so after an allied pokemon has fainted of it has been brought onto the field without taking any unnecessary residual damage.
  • Swords Dance Pangoro can also take advantage of common cores such as RegiBro and blow them away with its strong STAB attacks.

Team Options
========

  • SD Pangoro loves to be paired with bulky psychics as one of its primary threats is the plethora of faster fighting types that can revenge kill it. Therefore, pokemon such as Cresselia, Slowbro, or Bulky Necrozma make perfect teammates.
  • SD Pangoro also adores pokemon that can chip away at faster threats so that it can sweep with more ease. This can include spikes or tspikes as well as pokemon that can utilize toxic effectively. Thus, Roserade, tspikes Dragalge, the aforementioned Slowbro, Bronzong, and Registeel can be great partners for Pangoro. The latter Bronzong and Registeel deserve a special shout out for many reasons as they can eat up fairy type attacks, provide stealth rocks, and chip away opponents with moves such as toxic, seismic toss, or psywave.
  • Faster revenge killers such as scarf Gardevoir or Flygon can either appreciate Pangoro's breaking capability which allows them to clean up or help Pangoro out by removing aster threats that force it out.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • A Jolly nature can be used to outpace Adamant Bewear, which can be useful from time to time. However, take into account that cutting into Pangoro's attack by removing its Adamant nature, greatly cuts into its offensive capability.
  • Scrappy is another amazing offensive ability that could be used with Superpower or Drain Punch to hit Ghost types such as Palossand or Mismagius on the potential switch. However, Ghost types are reluctant to switch in on Pangoro as they fear being hit by Knock Off. Due to this, Scrappy is a unsuggested choice as an ability for Pangoro.

Lum Berry is another option as an item, (AC) as it allows Pangoro to be cured once from any burns or toxics poison that could trouble its sweeping or wallbreaking ability. This can be useful for setting up on Pokemon such as Registeel or and Milotic who that want to cripple Pangoro by statusing it. This can put Pangoro in an amazing position, (AC) as it now as has complete momentum as well as being and +2 Attack.

Usage Tips
========

Pangoro can also be extremely useful without Swords Dance, (AC) as its amazing offensive typing allows it to deal with the likes of Snorlax, Brozong Bronzong, Slowbro, and Gigalith, etc among others. Due to this, if it is noted that Pangoro will have a tough time being able to set up, it can easily just spam its STAB moves in Knock Off and Drain Punch. If the oppurtunity opportunity arises, Pangoro can afford to set up where Bullet Punch could clean up any faster attackers. However, SD Swords Dance Pangoro is typically used more typically used as a wallbreaker. Pangoro should mainly be brought in through slow uturns U-turns or weak resisted attacks, (AC) as its moderate bulk doesnt doesn't allow it to take as many hits as it wants to. If Pangoro wants to come in to set up, it should do so after an allied Pokemon has fainted of or it has been brought onto the field without taking any unnecessary residual damage. This Pangoro set can also take advantage of common cores such as RegiBro Registeel + Slowbro and blow them away with its strong STAB attacks.

Team Options
========

SD Swords Dance Pangoro loves to be paired with bulky psychics Psychic-types, (AC) as one of its primary threats is the plethora of faster fighting types Fighting-types that can revenge kill it. Therefore, Pokemon such as Cresselia, Slowbro, or and bulky Necrozma make perfect teammates. In addition to this, SD Swords Dance Pangoro also adores Pokemon that can chip away at faster threats so that it can sweep with more ease. This can include Spikes or tspikes Toxic Spikes users as well as Pokemon that can utilize Toxic effectively. Thus, Roserade, tspikes Toxic Spikes Dragalge, the aforementioned Slowbro, Bronzong, and Registeel can be great partners for Pangoro. The latter Bronzong and Registeel deserve a special shout out for many reasons, (AC) as they can eat up fairy type Fairy-type attacks, provide stealth rocks Stealth Rock, and chip away opponents foes with moves such as Toxic, Seismic Toss, or and Psywave. Faster revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Gardevoir or and Flygon can either appreciate Pangoro's wallbreaking capability, (AC) which allows them to clean up or help Pangoro out by removing aster faster threats that force it out.

A Jolly nature can be used to outpace Adamant Bewear, which can be useful from time to time. However, take into account that cutting into Pangoro's Attack by removing its Adamant nature, (RC) greatly cuts into its offensive capability. Scrappy is another amazing offensive ability that could can be used with Superpower or Drain Punch to hit Ghost-(AH)types such as Palossand or and Mismagius on the potential switch. However, Ghost-(AH)types are reluctant to switch in on Pangoro, (AC) as they fear being hit by Knock Off. Due to this, Scrappy is a an unsuggested choice as an ability for Pangoro.

===================

**Fairy-types**: While Fairy-(AH)types such as Gardevoir, Florges, or and Diancie dont don't appreciate Bullet Punch, or for the former, (AC) Gunk Shot, they can either outspeed it and avoid Gunk Shot or have the ability to take an unboosted pullet punch Bullet Punch and then proceed to OHKO Pangoro with Moonblast.

**Fighting-types**: The plethora of faster fighting type Fighting-type Pokemon, such as Passimian, Virizion, or and Toxicroak, all scare Pangoro out. Toxicroak resits both of Pangoro's stab STAB options, (AC) making it a more reliable check. Passimian also has above-average physical bulk, (AC) which makes it a good check to Pangoro. However, no fighting type Fighting-type wants to switch into a +2 Pangoro, (AC) as most of them will take massive damage and will be ultimately crippled for the rest of the match.

**Flying-types**: Flying-(AH)type Pokemon such as Noivern, Mandibuzz, or and Golbat all outspeed Pangoro and threaten it with its stab their STAB moves of in Hurricane and Brave Bird. None of them appreciate hard switching into Pangoro, especially if stealth rocks are Stealth Rock is up, but its it's still something to look out for when using Pangoro.

**Faster Pokemon**: Due to Pangoro's lacking Speed tier, it can easily be revenge killed by a plethora of faster Pokemon, (AC) including but most certainly not limited Noivern, Sceptile-Mega Mega Sceptile, Salazzle, Passimian, and Virizion. While some of these revenge killers need previous chip in order to sucessfuly successfully revenge kill Pangoro, a handful of them can flat out come in and OHKO it without any prior chip. However, it should be taken into account that all of these revenge killers can be knocked out via Bullet Punch if they don't have enough HP remaining.

[OVERVIEW]

Due to Pangoro's insane Attack stat, amazing coverage, and prominent (no idea what prominent's supposed to mean here so i'm cutting the extra adjectives) STAB attacks, it has paved itself a path to being one of the scariest wallbreakers in the tier. (a bit overenthusiastic for a B- mon, no?) Pangoro has access to Swords Dance, which can destroy teams if all of its checks have been removed from the field. (that's true for any mon, you should be talking about it shredding passive cores) It also can utilize a Choice Band set, making it an even more powerful wallbreaker. (not necessarily, the immediate power just lets you keep up with more proactive teams, also you're talking about the first set second) However, even though Pangoro's Attack stat is through the roof, it suffers from a fairly slow Speed stat and poor defensive typing, which makes it revenge killed fairly easily. Due to this, Defensive Pokemon such as Florges or and Mandibuzz can neutralize it with enough Speed creep it with ease and neutralize it. In addition to Pangoro's Speed stat, it's typing gives it a weakness to Fairy-types, Flying-types, and Fighting-types such as Florges, Noivern, and Virizion, which are all very prominent in the tier. Furthermore, Pangoro has fierce competition with the plethora of other Fighting-types in the tier, such as including Virizion, Bewear, and Passimian, all of which either have better Speed tiers, reliable recovery, or better natural bulk. Due to this, finding a spot to fit Pangoro on a team is difficult, which ultimately results in its lack of usage. (you should emphasize what pangoro DOES have over these other mons, i.e. being the hardest to wall and pivot around)

(at least say SOMETHING about knock, doesn't have to be much)
Drain Punch, (comma) which is boosted by Iron Fist, gives Pangoro a strong Fighting-type STAB move that provides it with and some passive recovery, which overall helps increase its longevity. This is important, as it helps Pangoro come in more frequently to dish out powerful attacks. While being a fairly weak priority move, Bullet Punch is a fairly weak move but necessary on Choice Band Pangoro, as it allows it to KOes Fairy-types such as Diancie, Florges, and Gardevoir with just a little bit of chip and can revenge kill weakened faster Pokemon in general. Also, because of Pangoro's Slow speed tier, a priority move is nice, as it allows Pangoro to revenge kill faster Pokemon that have been weakened. Moreover, Superpower provides Pangoro with an even stronger Fighting-type STAB move that deals immense damage to anything that wants to take the hit. (vague) Superpower allows Pangoro to always 2HKO slow Milotic, and it has a shot to 2HKO Tangela after Stealth Rock damage. While this all sounds promising, Drain Punch is ultimately the most useful STAB move, as it still is extremely strong due to Iron Fist and it lets Pangoro recover to give it gives Pangoro longevity. Superpower also has the drawback of lowering Pangoro's Attack and Defense every single time it is used. (obvious, useless info unless you explain why that matters) Gunk Shot can be utilized to destroy any Fairy-types that may want to switch in on an expected Dark- or Fighting-type move. However, Bullet Punch is usually more useful, as the only thing Gunk Shot really provides is a guaranteed OHKO on Florges, which is often faster than Pangoro anyway. However, most Florges variants are faster then Pangoro, which makes Bullet Punch typically the more useful move. In addition, Thunder Punch gives Pangoro a midground option that hits the likes of Slowbro, Milotic, and Mandibuzz.

Set Details
========

Pangoro's EV spread is straightforward with maximum Attack and maximum Speed investment combined with an Adamant nature, allowing Pangoro to dish out the most damage.

Usage Tips
========

Pangoro loves to be brought in via slow U-turns and Volt Switches and fire off immensely powerful attacks that punch holes through the opponent's team. However, keep in mind that Pangoro doesn't have the greatest bulk, so it can be easily worn down, which is why it loves to be brought in safely instead of through a hard manual switch. Pangoro should be brought in as much as possible throughout the early phase of the match as it helps break down defensive cores due to its amazing coverage options. If the opponent is lacking lacks a suitable Pangoro check, then usually, every single time Pangoro is on the field unthreatened, it can very easily claim a KO. Pangoro should typically utilize Knock Off the most, as it is an easily spammable move due to its secondary effect of removing the foe's item.

Team Options
========

Pangoro can find itself useful on a bunch of different teams, varying from hyper offense to even balance. (BIG doubt, bulky offense wants more than pure wallbreaking from its fighting-types) It loves being brought in via VoltTurn synergy, making Noivern, Flygon, and Vikavolt amazing partners for Pangoro. Noivern can also lure in Rock- and Steel-types and switch out via U-Turn so Pangoro can come in and deal out another powerful attack. Due to Pangoro's annoying weakness to Fairy-types, Pokemon such as Registeel, Salazzle, Escavalier, and Roserade make good teammates punish Fairy-types for Pangoro.,(comma) while Pokemon like Slowbro, Cresselia, and Golisopod eat up Fighting-type attacks. In addition to this, due to the plethora of Fighting-types in the tier, Pangoro appreciates Pokemon that can eat up Fighting-type moves such as Slowbro, Cresselia, and Golisopod. As a final note, Setup sweepers such as Raikou, Necrozma, and the aforementioned Salazzle appreciate Pangoro's wallbreaking capabilities to make making it easier for them to set up and clean late-game.
