[OVERVIEW]

Passimian is the only Fighting-type Pokemon in the tier that can perform the roles of a revenge killer and pivot with U-turn. Its access to coverage moves like Rock Slide and Gunk Shot allows it to punish its checks in Flying- and Fairy-types like Talonflame and Sylveon. With a Choice Scarf, it's able to outpace Pokemon like Tauros, Talonflame, and Tyrantrum after a Dragon Dance and KO them with its attacks. Although Passimian is using a Choice Scarf, it's unable to deal with faster Pokemon like Choice Scarf Rotom-C and Flygon and Blastoise after a Shell Smash. Passimian faces a lot of risk-reward situations by being Choice locked like using Rock Slide to predict the Flying-type switch-in in front of a Steel-type like Copperajah. Passimian also must avoid status effects from foes like Talonflame's Flame Body and Vileplume's Effect Spore, which discourage U-turn.

Knock Off prevents Psychic- and Ghost-types like Espeon, Starmie, and Golurk from safely switching in on a predicted Close Combat. Rock Slide hits Flying- and Bug-types like Talonflame and Ninjask. Gunk Shot is an option over Rock Slide to hit Fairy-types like Sylveon. Earthquake is also an option in the last moveslot to hit Poison-types like Toxicroak, Dragalge, and Salazzle, notably OHKOing the latter as compared to Rock Slide.

Poison- and Steel-types like Dragalge, Bronzong, and Copperajah can switch into Fairy-types like Sylveon and Comfey. They all also provide entry hazard support to help wear down Pokemon and allow Passimian to pick up KOs. Rock-types such as Aerodactyl, Diancie, and Tyrantrum are appreciated to deal with Flying-types like Ninjask, Xatu, and Talonflame. Although Passimian has Knock Off for Psychic-types, running a Dark-type like Guzzlord, Drapion, or Zoroark is encouraged to help with Pokemon like Starmie and Decidueye. Passimian helps Dark-types deal with opposing Dark-types they struggle to break with Close Combat. Psychic-types also make great teammates, as they can KO Poison-types like Salazzle, Vileplume, and Weezing. Wallbreakers like Choice Specs Exploud, Golurk, and Choice Band Flygon appreciate opportunities to come into play with U-turn. Pokemon like Sylveon, Vaporeon, and Diancie are useful clerics to remove status ailments with Heal Bell.

Choice Band amplifies Passimian's damage output, allowing it to muscle through Fighting-resistant Pokemon better with Close Combat. Facade is an option so Passimian isn't completely useless if it gets a status ailment, notably a burn.

Checks and Counters
====

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types like Sylveon, Comfey, and Diancie can OHKO Passimian with Moonblast, but the first two risk switching into a Gunk Shot.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Passimian has a hard time getting past physically defensive foes like Xatu, Mantine, Arcanine, and Mudsdale. They all have their ways of statusing Passimian, and the first three notably have recovery in Roost and Morning Sun to keep them healthy throughout the match.

**Poison-types**: Poison-types like Weezing and Vileplume can stomach all of Passimian's attacks and status it with Will-O-Wisp, Sleep Powder, and Stun Spore. They also have adverse effects like Rocky Helmet from Weezing and Effect Spore from Vileplume, which can lower its longevity and potentially status it. Offensive Pokemon like Salazzle and Toxicroak can make use of Passimian being Choice locked to set up with Nasty Plot or Swords Dance, respectively.

**Status**: Status ailments, notably paralysis from Pokemon like Xatu and burn from Vaporeon's Scald, cripple Passimian. Abilities that can trigger adverse effects like Talonflame's Flame Body and Vileplume's Effect Spore can potentially status Passimian when using a contact move.

Passimian is the only Fighting-type Pokemon in the tier that can perform fulfill the roles as a revenge killer, pivot with U-turn, and wallbreaker thanks to its base 120 Attack. Its access to coverage like Gunk Shot and Rock Slide, allows it to check punish its counters in Fairy- and Flying-types like Sylveon and Aerodactyl Talonflame (add some clause here about how Passimian can also always rely on U-turn to avoid being defensively answered). With Choice Scarf, it's able to outpace Pokemon like Inteleon, Talonflame, and Tyrantrum after a Dragon Dance, and KO them with its attacks. Passimian faces a lot of risk-reward situations by being locked inside of Choice Scarf like using Gunk Shot to predict the Fairy-type switch-in in front of a Steel-type like Copperajah. (Rock Slide is slashed before Gunk Shot, so it should be the move you talk about here) Thankfully, Passimian has the option to avoid risk-reward situations by pivoting other teammates in with U-turn. Passimian should avoid status from adverse effects like Flame Body Talonflame and Effect Spore Vileplume.

Knock Off prevents Psychic- and Ghost-types like Espeon, Starmie, and Golurk from getting a free switch-in to its Close Combat. Rock Slide hits Flying- and Bug-types like Talonflame, Ninjask, Araquanid. Gunk Shot is an option over Rock Slide to hit Fairy-types like Sylveon. (give a sentence to Earthquake; it lets Passimian reliably revenge kill Salazzle, whereas Rock Slide just barely misses the KO range)

Poison- and Steel-types like Roserade (rip), Bronzong, and Copperajah can switch into Fairy-types like Sylveon, Comfey, and Silvally-Fairy (who is using this in 2021). They all also provide entry hazard support to help wear down Pokemon to allow Passimian to pick up KOs. Rock-types such as Gigalith (who is using this in 2021), Diancie, and Tyrantrum are appreciated to deal with Flying-types like Ninjask, Xatu, and Talonflame. Although Passimain Passimian has Knock Off for Psychic-types, running a Dark-type like Guzzlord, Drapion, or Zoroark is encouraged to help with Pokemon like Celebi, Galarian Articuno, and Starmie (please list the viable one before the shit mons). Passimian helps Dark-types deal with opposing Dark-types they struggle to break with Close Combat. Psychic-types also make great teammates as they can KO Poison-types like Roserade (rip), Vileplume, and Weezing. Wallbreakers like Choice Specs Exploud, Sirfetch'd, and Choice Band Flygon appreciates U-turn to give them opportunities to come into play. Choice Band amplifies Passimian's damage output, allowing it to muscle through Fighting-type resists better with Close Combat. Facade option so Passimian isn't completely useless if it gets a status ailment, notably a burn. Iron Head is an option over Gunk Shot for a more consistent hit along with OHKOing Diancie.

Checks and Counters
====

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types like Sylveon and Diancie can OHKO Passimian with Moonblast, but Sylveon risks switching into a Gunk Shot. (add Comfey to that list; defensive variants are fine checks to Passimian)

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Passimian has a hard time getting past physically defensive walls like Xatu, Mantine, Arcanine, and Mudsdale. They all have their ways of statusing Passimian and the first three notably have recovery in Roost and Morning Sun to keep them healthy throughout the match.

**Poison-types**: Poison-types like Weezing and Vileplume can stomach all of Passimian's attacks and status it with Will-O-Wisp, Sleep Powder, and Stun Spore respectively. They also have adverse effects like Rocky Helmet from Weezing and Effect Spore from Vileplume which can lower its longevity and potentially status it.

**Psychic-types**: Psychic-types like Starmie and Galarian Articuno can OHKO Passimian with their STAB attacks but fear switching in, risking a Knock Off.

**Rotom-C**: Rotom-C is the faster scarfer and it has a chance of OHKOing Passimian with Leaf Storm after prior chip damage. (not worth mentioning down here tbh)

**Status**: Paralyzing Passimain defeats the purpose of it acting as a Speed control as it significantly lowers its Speed. Burn halves its damage output, causing it to have a more difficult time muscling through Pokemon, and toxic puts Passimian on a timer causing it to faint faster longterm. (I'm fine enough with this being a section, but it should be focusing more on practical situations in which Passimian might be inflicted by status, i.e. versus Flame Body Talonflame and Effect Spore Vileplume when trying to pivot with U-turn)

[OVERVIEW]

Passimian is the only Fighting-type Pokemon in the tier that can perform fulfill (one or the other, not both of "perform fulfill") the roles as a revenge killer, and pivot with U-turn, and wallbreaker thanks to its base 120 Attack (Scarf pass isn't a wallbreaker, especially when you compare it to the higher ranked Fighting-types. The CB set is but it's OO, so it's better to promote revenge killing and pivoting as that's really the allure of Pass in the first place) Its access to coverage like Gunk Shot and Rock Slide, allows it to punish its counters in Fairy- and Flying-types like Sylveon and Talonflame. With Choice Scarf, it's able to outpace Pokemon like Inteleon Tauros (VR relevancy), Talonflame, and Tyrantrum after a Dragon Dance, and KO them with its attacks. (Also mention here that Choice Scarf still makes Pass unable to adequately deal with +2 Blastoise and more popular Choice Scarf Pokemon like Flygon and Rotom-C) Passimian faces a lot of risk-reward situations by being locked inside of Choice Scarf like using Rock Slide to predict the Flying-type switch-in in front of a Steel-type like Copperajah. Passimian should avoid status from adverse effects like Flame Body Talonflame and Effect Spore Vileplume, which discourage U-turn spam. (This line is necessary as unlike other phys walls like Mudsdale and Vaporeon, it should be clear that these examples cannot be pivoted out on freely due to the punishing status chance.)

Knock Off prevents Psychic- and Ghost-types like Espeon Xatu (VR relevancy), Starmie, and Golurk from getting a free switch-in to its Close Combat. Rock Slide hits Flying- and Bug-types like Talonflame and Ninjask. Gunk Shot is an option over Rock Slide to hit Fairy-types like Sylveon. Earthquake is also an option in the last slot to hit Poison-types and reliably OHKO Salazzle as compared to Rock Slide. (as EQ is also good for Toxicroak and Dragalge)

Poison- and Steel-types like Dragalge, Bronzong, and Copperajah can switch into Fairy-types like Sylveon and Comfey. Passimian helps Dark-types deal with opposing Dark-types they struggle to break with Close Combat. Psychic-types also make great teammates as they can KO Poison-types like Salazzle, Vileplume, and Weezing. Wallbreakers like Choice Specs Exploud, Sirfetch'd (two mono Fighting-types together? I'm skeptical of this combo, so unless you believe it's viable, I'd replace Sirfetch'd with a better-types wallbreaker), and Choice Band Flygon appreciates U-turn to give them opportunities to come into play. Pokemon like Sylveon, Vaporeon, and Diancie are useful clerics to remove status ailments with Heal Bell.

Facade option so Passimian isn't completely useless if it gets a status ailment, notably a burn. Iron Head is an option over Gunk Shot for a more consistent hit along with OHKOing Diancie. (The OHKO isn't true even for specially defensive Diancie. I'd consider removing this from OO altogether, or clarify that Iron Head is specifically for Choice Band variants)

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types like Sylveon, Comfey, and Diancie can OHKO Passimian with Moonblast, but the first two risks switching into a Gunk Shot.

They also have adverse effects like Rocky Helmet from Weezing and Effect Spore from Vileplume which can lower its longevity and potentially status it. (Add offensive examples like Salazzle and Toxicroak that take advantage of Passiman's Choice-lock and inability to threaten them without Earthquake)

**Psychic-types**: Psychic-types like Starmie and Galarian Articuno can OHKO Passimian with their STAB attacks but fear switching in, risking a Knock Off.
(Psychic-types aren't that relevant in NU and you already mentioned Xatu as a check earlier. This point can be removed altogether, and instead expand it to revenge killers. Include faster Choice Scarfers and situational revenge killers like Starmie, Golurk, ect)

**Status**: Paralyzing Passimain defeats the purpose of it acting as a Speed control as it significantly lowers its Speed. Burn halves its damage output, causing it to have a more difficult time muscling through Pokemon, and Toxic puts Passimian on a timer causing it to faint faster long term. (This first part is fluff; it's apparent to readers that a scarfer cannot function when paralyzed, and so on. Try to rewrite it to relevant examples of how Pass can be statused like how you did in the second paragraph. Definitely include Scald burns from walls like Vaporeon and Mantine, Toxic from defensive Flygon, ect.) Abilities that can trigger adverse effects like Flame Body Talonflame and Effect Spore Vileplume can potentially status Passimian when using a contact move.

QC 2/2! It's a big check as I explained a lot of my reasoning or questioning in the parentheses. Some of it is as simple as replacing lowly ranked mons or like an incorrect calc, and some of it is rewriting altogether. I trust you'll implement this fine so feel free to move it to GP once you've finished. Good work!
