Peaches, anyone? Pecharunt's usage in OU has surged in recent months courtesy of its defensive prowess, becoming a sturdy pivot on offensive teams to handle dangerous foes like Ogerpon-W, Iron Valiant, and, most importantly, Zamazenta. The combination of Malignant Chain and Hex also grants it decent offensive pressure, forcing progress against bulky foes by putting the likes of Alomomola, Moltres, and Ting-Lu on a timer while making sure threats like Raging Bolt and Dragonite can't exploit it easily, especially with a well-timed confusion from Poison Puppeteer. Tera Dark can be used in a pinch to flip its Dark, Ghost, and Psychic weaknesses against Pokemon like Hisuian Samurott, Dragapult, and Deoxys-S. If you love running Dark-types like Roaring Moon, Kingambit, Hisuian Samurott, and Darkrai, then Pecharunt will prove to be a nice fit by handling Zamazenta and Iron Valiant for them; funnily enough, your own Zamazenta and Iron Valiant, as well as Pokemon like Great Tusk, are great partners to deal with the same Dark-types for Pecharunt. Moreover, they and other offensive teammates like Dragonite and Ogerpon-W also love Pecharunt bringing them in safely with Parting Shot, which also eases their setup afterwards.

The combination of its signature Malignant Chain and STAB both are fluff Hex also grants it decent offensive pressure, forcing progress against bulky foes by putting the likes of Alomomola, Moltres, and Ting-Lu on a timer while making sure threats like Raging Bolt and Dragonite can't exploit it easily, especially with a well-timed confusion from Poison Puppeteer. Tera Dark can be used in a pinch to flip all of its Dark, Ghost, and Psychic weaknessweaknesses from Pokemon like Hisuian Samurott, Dragapult, and Deoxys-S. If you love running Dark-types like Roaring Moon, Kingambit, Hisuian Samurott, and Darkrai, then Pecharunt will prove to be a nice fit by handling Zamazenta and Iron Valiant for them; funnily enough, its your own (if "its own" is a subtle joke to Pecharunt's subjugation abilities, ignore this change) Zamazenta and Iron Valiant, as well as Pokemon like Great Tusk, are great partners themselves to deal with the same Dark-types for Pecharunt, which makes Pokemon like Great Tusk similarly valuable. (Reworded for brevity and clarity.) Moreover, they and other offensive teammates like Dragonite and Ogerpon-W also love Pecharunt bringing them in safely with Parting Shot, which also eases their setup afterwards.
