Welcome to the Teambuilding Lab for Pet Mods! This Project aims for easier introduction in teambuilding for Pet Mods. As well as to make getting into a new Pet Mod easier. Users can request a Pokemon, a Core or a Playstyle for a Pet Mod metagame, to be built by people who have experience in those metagames. The builders will share the teams that they have built with general information about the team, its gameplan and its building process. If you are experienced in a Pet Mod, that isn't listed in the list below, feel free to contact me via Discord (Sero#5903) and apply for that mod.

Requesting a screens + pivoting team in Stereotypes! (Ideally a slow pivot or one with boom/Memento). Bonus points if you can make Belly Drum + Salac work on Jungape or Platypad. (Use Iron Ball to make the pivot slow if you have to. It's not actually a bad idea.) Maybe a weather resetter wouldn't be a bad idea for Gargogunk.

This seems extremely interesting, if there is nothing else left, let me see if i can kickstart this thread by requesting a Hoenn Gaiden team of any achetype, preferably with Golisopod.
Rezzo Built this after it was brought up by ViZ who attempted to build it, Rez didn't sign up to do the lab so I am just the messenger trying not to leave this pretty sweet team behind.

(This was built like a month ago but never posted)

Requesting joltemons team with this insane kartana set:

- Calm Mind

funny calc

248 SpA Life Orb Kartana Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 92 SpD Corviknight: 213-252 (53.3 - 63.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

No. 2
:kartana::tapu-koko::hawlucha::landorus-therian::moltres-galar::zeraora:

Sorry that I went the easy way out, but I don't think CM LO Kartana can fit on any other playstyle than tried and true dummy broken Screens HO.

Kartana as I said plays like a very early to mod game wallbreaker thanks to its reliance on SE hits or Steel Beam to put damage on the foes, once Screens are up feel very liberal with using Kart - get off a CM and proceed to go ham.

Ofc the best Screen Setter is Tapu Koko so I emplored its presence to make my crackpot build a reality. Its standard fare nothjng to it.

And ofc you can't have a Koko Without a Hawlucha, standard build on it too.

Landorus T provides our well needed suicide rocker

SubDDance Gyarados is an absolute mad man on HO and shouod be the main sweeper imo on any set, it just goes ham. Sets up a Sub on near any passive pokemon then racks up the DDs.

Raichu-Alola probably doesnt fit as well as I'd like but its a Zap Rat goddamn it and its EBalls in Terrain are absolutely nuclear.

I also provided a secondary team because I realised I prefer running Zeraora on a HO build but went too far deep with The first squad. Enjoy!

Requesting a FERU team with View attachment 406698Oricolyph-Sensu

This is a very straight-forward volturn team that relies on Specs Oricorlyph and SD Silvino-Poison to eventually win against weakened teams. Main gameplan is to leverage your slow pivots to bring in Ori during the earlygame and then eventually close out the game with Silvino+Future Sight once stuff like Hatt and Cofazor are removed. Don't be scared to use Silvino defensively, regen+great bulk give it a lot of HP to work with. Potential Move swaps: Flamethrower over Hyper Voice on Audiyem, Dark Pulse over Flash Cannon on Metagon, and Knock or Blaze Kick over Drain Punch on Silvino. Silvino can be changed to Dragon if the Venuroar MU becomes unbearable.

Not going to go too in-depth for this one, but the basic gameplan is to overload Steels and Darks with with Golneton and Klefilego. Landowak+Physdef Silvino Dragon should give you enough of a defensive backbone without sacrificing momentum, while scarf Metagon is just a funny form of speed control while still providing some defensive utility when Wish support is taken into account. Possible set tweak: Lefties over Boots on Ori, swap in Sub over Roost.

Requesting a FERU team featuring Plot/DDance Flychu-Alola
(wrong flygon but we don't have a flychu minisprite yet lol)
A pretty simple team designed to enable Flychu- Glasnow and Venuroar both bully the Ground and Grass-types that could stymie a sweep, while also providing crucial speed control against the few faster things. Outside of that you have a bog-standard defensive core. Team definitely has momentum issues but you should be able to find openings off of your 2 physical breakers.

Chances are this team is complete ass but I implore you to try it out. Got some heat in there. Some substitutions:
- replace Endeavor with Work Up
- Replace Taunt with Flash Cannon
- Replace with a different Vikadrill answer lol

Servus! It's Update time.
Let's get the small things out first. Multiverse, OU Theorymon, Paleomons and Sylvemons are now mods you can request a team from and the Team Archive has been created. The latter allows you to look at teams that have been build and grab them for yourself, while builders can see which teams are yet to be built.

Lastly, some people were unsatisfied with their teams, since they feel really rushed. Therefore, every builder has to follow the 7th Rule. Quote:
"Important Rule for builders! Test the team and provide replays alongside a description for your team. There have to be at least three replays and the description should cover the gameplan of the team and how it works; length doesn't matter here."

That does it for today. I'll see ya.
Ciao Servus

right here

meanwhile, requesting a Super Smash Stereotypes team with Heatmor.
Ok, first let me preface with this. Do not use Heatmor. Heatmor is a a bad Pokémon, wholely outclassed by a wide variety of wallbreakers we currently have available and is checked by a big portion of the metagame. Typhlosion has better bulk, no Rock weakness and packs more reliable utility. Arcanine packs Fire type Pursuit and therefore does what Heatmor attempts to do (mindgame switches) much more efficiently while also having better speed and STAB Espeed. If you INSIST on using Heatmor, I've played my ass off with this squad and I think you can't do much more than this.

Import Here

Heatmor requires multiple forms of support, demanding stellar Hazard Control, a way to defeat faster threats and most importantly, a way to safely get it in. Once Heatmor is actually in, it only hs one job - spam Overheat and Flamethrower. Don't try to predict with this Pokémon, Overheat is almost always tge move you want to click, unless god forbid the opponent is packing a rare Flash Fire user. If that is the case, click Flamethrower so the foe THINKS switching in is a good idea, and then next time you are out click HP Ground, as all current Immunities hate taking a HP Ground to the face.

Stunfisk is your SpD tank of choice, eats almost any special hit in the metagame rn thanks to RegenVest, and more importantly carries Volt Switch which allows it to carry a slow pivot into your breaker of choice.

Slowclone is similarly near unpenetrable on the physical side, and can take an unbelievable amount of punishment from that side. I chose this set specically to a) always ensure you get the slow pivot thanks to Teleport, and b) Body Press makes its so that broken Mega Bisharp does not use you as set up bait and proceed to sweep your team (because it will!). If Bisharp is that problematic, run No Item, Clone can get by (seriously we probably gotta ban that thing.).

Miemie is the real star of the show here, and is the second best Pokémon in the metagame, only behind Mega Bisharp. Realisically this is the Pokemon you want to pivot into, as Miemie is extremely self sufficient and will always make progress versus the opposing team thanks to its combination of respectable power, high speed and Natural Heal, making typical ways of crippling wallbreakers like chip and status meaningless after a switch.

Bastiodactyl is your Rocks setter, your Fairy check, and your Ground immunity, meaning it has a lot on its plate. But mini Corviknight has rarely done anything other than deliver versus various squads. Feel free to just swap around on stuff and do what needs to be done to ensure Rocks are up, as Heatmor and to a much lesser extent Miemie desperately needs it to ensure KOs (fuck Mega Cofazor).

Last Pokemon is Kokovoir, and does what it does in its home mod well, which is pivot around, keep off Rocks off the field and drop Moonblasts when needed. The lack of potent specially defensive Steels means Moonblast is rather easy to spam. Thanks to this freely spammable Moonblast, it forces alot of switches which means it can get off a Defog relatively easy, which is very importanr for Heatmor. If Amnesia Salaos serves to be aparticularly big issue since Heatmor may invite it in, Moonblast can swapped for Play Rough can be added to your arsenal to better pressure it, but Miemie usually gets the job done.
(Please note that these replays are prior to Body Press Slowclone and Choice Specs being swapped for Life Orb on Heatmor, so they may not 100% accurately showcase how this team may perform)

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/dragonheaven-gen8supersmashstereotypes-14 Replay of Heatmor doing absolutely nothing, I had to go out of my way to play worse as to ensure Kokovoir did not just win the match all by itself and get in Heatmor once.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/dragonheaven-gen8supersmashstereotypes-17 Replay of Heatmor dying turn 3 since Life Orb Giga Drain unfort was not enough to KO the Ground with no SpD investment.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/dragonheaven-gen8supersmashstereotypes-20 Replay of Heatmor failing to OHKO Mega Cofazor, a Steel type, with STAB item boosted Overheat, but ultimately allowed me to be able to make it so that said Cofazor would not be healthy enough to screw over my team, so ig it did something right.

TL; DR Why would you ask for this, you silly person? Please use Typhlosion.
