pets passing away

i know how you feel

i got my dog when i was in kindergarden, she died last year(im in my 3rd year of college)

just remember all the good you did for your pet, it probably had a better and fuller life than 95% of the others in its species

i dont' want to bring up any painful memories or anything, but i'm awfully curious as to how your bird died ):

Im not really sure actually. It had some kind anerism/blood clot/ tumor on its ass because it grew really red and swollen starting from a month before he died. My guess is it either ruptured or he finally ripped it (it was making it hard for him to take a dump). The morning of the day he died I found him bleeding in his cage, but I couldn't do anything cuz I had to get to class; my mom said there was nothing I could do for him anyway. From there he spent the day bleeding to death as he flew around the house. Not exactly the best way to go, but what can you do?

I've lost a lot of pets throughout my life. I had a Ferret, that my dad lost or killed. I don't see my dad anymore...because, he's crazy. I had a Dog, that I lost because some fat ass kid provoked it and got it to bite him and tear him apart. I had a bird, for 10 years that just eventually, passed away. I had a bunch of Rabbits/Bunnies, that I was forced to get rid of for housekeeping or house renting (land lord) purposes. I had pet fish, obviously they don't last long but it's what started me out with pet keeping. I moved since then, and now have a Dog and there's a stray cat, that's friendly that we're taking in, and taking care of.

You can take it to the fucking vet and have it put to sleep. You can drop a brick on it, christ anything is better than letting the poor thing bleed to death >:(

I had to put one of my dogs to sleep.. and it was quite hard. I just suggest to do other things and to shortly to get another dog.

Hey man, to be perfectly honest I don't come from a family that has the money to spend on taking a pet to a vet; even to put it down. And I did think that mabye it would be more humane to take him out myself, but if I went through that I think I would have a whole other level of problems to go through.

The morning I found him, I wanted to rush him to the vet; I even cried like a little girl to my mom begging her to help. I wan't getting any help in that department though. TBH, I didn't even know how bad the problem was until I got home and found the blood everywhere; when I kept calling my mom on the phone while at class she told me he was doing fine. That bird was like a friend to me, I'd been taking care of it since I was 9. But in the end I decided to let him go out on his own. If you think I'm a heartless bastard because of that, whatever; I stand by my decision. I'm the one that raised it for years and buried it, so your oppinions irrelevant IMO.
