Plans for July 4th

What do you Smogoners plan on doing during the Fourth of July? This doesn't necessarily mean Independence Day so you can post whether you want to chill or not.

As for I, my brother's fiancé's parents are throwing a barbecue. Most people from her side of the family will be attending. Sadly, my relatives can't because either they're are nowhere near the tri-state area (New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania) or are in Vietnam.
 
I'll be working during the day, and going to the Royals game at night with my family. They have a great fireworks show every 4th of July, so we decided to go. I hope it'll be a good game!
 
Working through the week. I do get the 4th off, so I might put together a nifty shindig with a couple of my good buds. I am, however, going on vacation from the 12th-15th. I'll be going deep sea fishing with some extended family in the Gulf of Mexico. Many good times are to be had, as this is my first time going out there. I will post full results of what I caught in the D/P "Look what I Bred! mark 3" thread, for maximum lulz.
 
This past Saturday I went to my great aunt's lakehouse, which we do every year around the 4th. Tomorrow I will be going back to Buffalo to my parents' house because my hometown shoots their fireworks off in the soccer field behind our backyard, so we basically have the best view in the whole town for not having to get there 3 hours early and fight for parking. Then, on the 4th, my office is closed for the day but they will open the roof deck so employees can come watch Rochester's downtown fireworks show from up there.

All in all, it'll be a good week.

This reminds me a lot of what happens in my city, they shoot off fireworks at the high school soccer field which is really close to my house and usually me and my family will sit out on the deck and watch them. This year we will probably do that on the 4th and then this weekend me, my brother, my step-mom, and my dad will be going up to my dad's property in some remote town in Wisconsin. We have a sweet camper there but like no modern conviences besides running water and a TV that doesn't get any channels (for watching movies, obviously). Still it's pretty fun because there is a lake right nearby the place and we have a boat which is pretty old but still works fine and is pretty kickass. Also my dad owns 2 ATV's that he let's me and my brother drive and there is a ton of trails and stuff that you can drive on around the area. Best of all is that some dude who lives in my city in Minnesota also owns property up there and he is really rich so every 4th of July he puts on a giant fireworks show on the dock behind one of the resturants up there and the money made from the show goes to the local food shelf. Overall it's pretty fuckin sweet!
 
Ill be going to my grandpas on the Fourth, for lunch. After that I will be off to my fiance's uncles for dinner. Following that, Ill be up at the Westminster Promanade with my Daughter to watch fireworks. After that, Im going to go to bed.
 
going out to my grandparents' house for a barbecue and determining whether or not to blackmail my cousin when she shows up.
 
Working at Jewel, bagging fat white people's hot dogs. whoo. Then going to my Grandma's, which'll consist of my mom and my grandma snipping at each other for ~ 4 hours. double whoo.

On the plus side, I'm going to a barbeque at my friend's house this Friday, and I do get pay and a half at work.
