Not A Bug Plasma Fists causes Normal-type status moves to be affected by Volt Absorb

What is the bug?
The normal move "Mean Look" is healing mons with "Volt Absorb"
I just played with a troll team I made on gen7. Was about to win and on the last turn I used "mean-look" which healed my opponent unexpectedly and I was defeated. It was very dramatic.
