Platinum RMT Thread

Yeah, well here is my adjusted Platinum team, rate away peeps!

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/6 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Aqua Tail
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Stone Edge

This thing is an invention of my own, as it can take a BB from a Weavile. It's very bulky and can OHKO and 2HKO so many pokemon its not funny, yet still it isn't doing it for this team, and needs to be removed for something better, I am just unsure of what.
---
Shaymin-s @ Life Orb
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Ah, LO Skymin, while its not banned I will abuse to the MAX. Everything there is for coverage and max damage. There really isn't much it change. This also acts as a switch is on EQs which I am ever so weak to.
---
Mamoswine (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stone Edge
- Superpower

THis will be the new oppresor of the metagame, STAB Ice Shard for Outrage Mence, and Skymin. Then there is STAB EQ, and now he has Superpower as well as backing Stone Edge. Jolly is for unexpected out speeds, and CB is for massive attack stat.
---
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- X-Scissor
- Superpower
- Pursuit

My third CBander, hehe, this works like a miracle. First, they taunt expecting, a SD, but getting a STABed, Technitioned, and CBanded Bullet Punch. Then they retaliate, only not to have time to attack as they are 2HKOed. This thing takes down at least 2 pokemon a game, because everyone expects the SD version. The Def EVs are for switch ins, so I can return with a KO.
---
Heatran (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast

You might think I'm crazy, but yes, 4 choice users. This is a standard scarftran, works surprisingly well in combination with Scizor, as he just switches in on the Fire Attacks, then returns with a KO, also my favorite Revenge Killer in the game <3.
---
Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake
- Mach Punch

This is meant to deal damage to the current metagame. Close Combat for killing the Tyranitars, Blisseys, and STAB. Flare Blitz for Scizor, Skymin, Metagross, and Mamoswine. EQ is for Heatran, and then Mach Punch is for finishing them off. I am debating making this a MixApe though for more coverage, this set is more unexpected though.

Infernape is not able to ko a skymin except on the switch, as skymin outspeeds and ko's with air slash/ earth power. However, the team looks really solid. However, I do think you're crazy with 4 choice users. No one resists Stealth Rock, so all the switching you'll have to do might hurt you in the long run. Tar's sand is hurting LO pokes Skymin and Ape, meaning they die FAST. You lose some speed but have priority so you work around that too. I think the new Rotoms could hurt you, with defenses almost equal to spiritomb's. They can spread burn around your CBers so maybe get a levitating ghost lead like scarf gar to keep rocks off of your side of the field, beat weakened rotoms and give an eq immune. Good Luck with the team.

Thank you for the rate, and yes I have decided to dump Nape for a Kingdra. It looks so good on paper, I can't wait! I am going to use the DD variety. The four choice thing is a worry, and I am planning to dump the CB Tyranitar lead, although I am unsure of what to replace it with, all suggestions welcome =). I will update in a minute.
