Please rate my WiFi team. Sorry if this is in the wrong section)

Hi, this is my first post on here so i don't know if I'm putting this in

the right area but i didn't see a wifi tab so this is the closest thing i

could find. anyway, i just wanted someone to rate the team i created for 3

on 3 wifi battles.

my team is
Weavile: (Pressure): Max Attack and Max Speed with a Speed nature holding

leftovers
Assist
Substitute
Swords dance
Ice Shard

Breloom: (Poison Heal): Max speed and Max Attack with a Speed nature

holding Toxic Orb
Spore
Focus Punch
Protect
Counter

Scrafty: (Shed Skin): Max HP and max Def with Def Nature holding Nothing
Dragon Tail
Thief
Protect
Focus punch
-------------

Okay, So what this team does. Basically this team abuses the fact that

there is no sleep clause in Wifi battles. Weavile uses Assit to call Spore

from Breloom. Because Weavile is one of the fastest pokes in the game more

then likely he will get it off. i get spore 100% of the time because all

the other moves my pokes know can NOT be picked by Assit. once the foe is

asleep I put up a sub and then sword dance till i get +6 attack. if they

wake up just assit/spore again and repeat. once done Ice Shard away.

the other pokes are useful too actually as well. Scrafty usually uses Thief

to take away annoying items like choice scarf or Lum berries. and Breloom

can sometimes use it's own spore/focus punch combo.

i actually use this team in game for WiFi and it actually does really well!

though here are the weaknesses that my team has that i know of

1.) Mach punch and other priority one moves: mach punch ruins EVERYTHING!

it's +1 Priority screws over wevile and scrafty and Breloom isn't exactly

the sturdiest poke around

2.) Hydration: man, water types are always annoying since they resist Ice

but not being able to be put it to sleep makes it even worse. when i see a

Vappy with a politoed I pretty much know i'm gonna lose.

3.) Chlorophyll:Not as annoying as hydration but still bad. In the sun some

grass types can actually be faster then weavile and if i don't have a sub

up i can easily take an attack.

4.) Taunt: taunt isn't as bad as you would think. while on paper it would

seem to totally screw over weavile usually by the time they pull it off

weavile has gotten at least one SD off. Also, I have another poke that can

take Weavile's place that deals with taunt pretty well. i'll list it below.

5.) Choice Scarf: most scarfed pokes are pretty obvious so i use scrafty to

deal with them after using breloom as a sacrifice if it's the opening poke.

but still it could be a scarfed starmie which gives me all sorts of

issuses. scarfed special attackers are hard for me to deal with

6:) Multi attacking moves: Oh rock blast... how i hate you! any attack that

does several hits in a row hoses me over because of this i hate seeing

cloyster. it resists Ice shard and can pound me after one shell smash.

7) Lum berries: if i miss predict and use assit on a poke with a lum they

basically get a free move and that one more can totally mess me up.

8:) Sandstorm: it just messes up the healing from my leftovers so long term

it's a real annoyance. usually though breloom/scrafty can handle them but

by then the damage is done

and last

9:) speed boost blazeken. After one protect i'm screwed. at least with

ninjask i can just ice shard him right way. this bird i can't...

OKAY! so that's all the major flaws and yeah they are major.but what are

the pros of this team?

1.) the element of surprise! you would not believe the number of people

that go 'WTF!?!?!' when they see my team in action. it's so different that

they don't know how to counter it. seasoned pros usually have no problems

but unless you have one of the things listed above your pretty much done

for.

2.) the fake out of pre battle selection: in wifi battles you get to see

the 6 pokes your opponent will use. while I know i'm only going to use the

three above they don't know that! So i use the other 3 pokes to get them to

not pick the pokes i don't want. Examples are Zapdos, Jellicent, tornadus,

etc. you just want pokes that scream "FIGHTING, STEEL, and WATER TYPES

BEWARE!"
------------------------
It's a gimmick team for sure but it's fun and surprising. Also! don't think

Weavile is the only poke that can do this. a few others can do it as well.

Infernape learns Assit in gen 5; i have one with this moveset;

infernape:
Assist
Substitute
Flame Charge
Shadow Claw

Flame charge takes care of the speed problem since it's slower then weavile

and shadow claw is for ghosts. overall Weavile works better but this guy

handles taunt a little better and also can not be burned. it takes longer

to kill pokes and normal types can be a pain (but again the fake out of pre

battle usually gets rid of normal types and if not breloom or scraft will

finsh them off)
---------------
Liepard

GOD! I'm just WAITING for dream world Purrloin to be released! it's

Prankster ability covers the speed problem of Weavile and Infernape!

Liepard: Prankster
Assit
Subsistute
Hone Claws
Night slash
----------------

Hypno

okay, on the defense side hypno can do this quite well and can take

advantage of the sleep it's always using. too bad it's slow as dirt. trick

room kinda helps but it usually doesn't work cleanly

hypno

Assit
trick room/sub/shadowball/focus blast
Calm mind
Dream Eater
--------------------

and finally, we have my back up weavile. this one is for more attack power

quickly but gives up priority for it.

Weavile

Assit
substitue
SwordsDance
Night Slash
-------------------------------------------------

okay, so you like this idea but don't want to make a whole team around it?

well say hello to butterfree! while not the fastest thing out there it has

the right moves and ability to do this all by itself if you can get it

off....

Butterfree: (Compoundeyes)

Sleeppowder
Quiver Dance
Substitute
Bug Buzz

now, you could use Trick room on another poke to get around this temporally

until you get enough quiver dances in but that's a whole other thread ;-)

You do really need more detail with your pokemon to make this a valid team rate, you alos need to use the standardised format. Did you read the sub-forum rules because they are both in plain site there.

Also, here at Smogon we are a competitive battling community, gimmicks aren't taken well around here ( :( ) but I'll give the team a rate anyway soon, when I edit this post.

EDIT: Butterfree needs multiple attacks. Other you'll get wall for a century by ferrothorn. Consider replacing subsitute with HP fire DIE FERROTHORN DIE!

The rest of your team is obvously a gimmick so I won't even bother there, however, you do only have 5 pokemon. You need a full team (6) for it to be a legal team rate.

This is for WiFi GBU Single battles, and you need only 3 to be elegible to enter a match.
=============

Well, the team is really well planned, but you could use another pokemon not called Scrafty over the Pants-mon. Too much fighting weaknesses.
On Weavile, you could use a Focus Sash ...

And about Butterfree, Venomoth does the job sooooo much better because of Tinted Lens. It is also faster and has more Sp.Atk.

Oh! And it also gets Baton Pass ;)
