no predictions make me sad but i don't know half these players so i didn't want to do it.


but paul bullied me so here we are

(4) turnTier 1 Boomers vs Po-Town-Probopass (3)
M4A: bekama vs pupugugu - People keep mentioning bekama, but I haven't seen them do anything and I know pupu is pretty good at m4a so this one's a given.
FEUU: IsoCon vs analysis geek - Haven't seen either of these players do too much FEUU but I've actually seen analgeek play the tier (plus being a G-Luke alt helps) so I think this'll go to him.
HGOU: Voyager vs bynum - Why are there so many good HG players and where did they all come from? Voyager has a cooler name so they will win.
REST: Gekokeso vs Mossy Sandwich - I think it would be really really funny if Geko won this.
ALT: Noctrine vs Clasmia - Clastia carries the Probos once again.
JOLTOU: Xrn vs megaspoopy000 - The only tier I can give real opinions on. Both Jolte games besides mine this week are complete washes imo. Xrn has played great so far and I don't see them stopping now.
NDBH: XxSevagxX vs Gravity Monkey - GM plays hackmons??


(4) Manicunos Manicunos vs Workers Union of Gensokyo (3)
M4A: Amberr vs adem - Amberr feels like a throwaway but then again so does adem since neither of them have played the tier much from what I can tell (I do not know m4a so I could be dead wrong). I think I heard good things about adem somewhere plus their name sounds cooler.
FEUU: earl vs anaconja - Possibly the most hype game this week. Earl is an unstoppable force (unless hax) so I predict a cunos win, but this game will certainly be one for the ages.
HGOU: 447323a vs LRXC - Both of these haven't done super well but hexcode somehow beat the gourgs so there's only one right answer.
REST: Scoopapa vs DuoM2 - The other contender for most hype game this week. Scoop v Duo is sure to be a very high-skill match, as both of them know the meta very well. Overall I think Scoop has the advantage in skill but I could see it going either way.
ALT: G-Luke vs SiceXV - Who is Sice and why are they playing Alt? WUG is copying the Gourgs confirmed
JOLTOU: swag god vs dex - Another wash. Swag god pilots alright but dex is actually cracked (only 3-0 jolte player I believe) so there's no way they drop the ball.
NDBH: Nihilslave vs cityscapes - City has a cooler name and I've heard more about them.


And finally, the biggest wash of the week. The Gourgantuan Gourgilliams are ready for another 7-0, and there is nothing, nobody who can stop us.

M4A: Sticky Fingaaa vs ARandomPerson - One of the most high-level M4A games yet, but Sticky ain't gonna start losing now.
FEUU: Tapler vs Bobsican - Tapler if you lose this I will garrote you.
HGOU: NotCopen vs Rezzo - Nobody on the gourgs knows HG? Opponent is undefeated? Copen literally only plays mg1? Sounds like a gourg win if I've ever heard one.
REST: zxgzxg vs Monai - 30.5k. Need I say more?
ALT: Darkrai Retribution vs Paulluxx - Pauluxx? More like Paulsuxx!!
JOLTOU: Beaf Cultist vs scorbunnys - Very even match imo. if I had to compare myself in skill level to someone else in PMs (particularly Jolte) it'd probably be scor. Gimmicks have gotten me far but I can't take advantage of the opponent not knowing the tier this time, so I'll need to play well (seriously, I cannot say this enough, scor being only 3k was a massive steal for CCC). With that said, unfortunately for scor I am on the gourgs, and we don't lose.
NDBH: TTTech vs Quantum Tesseract - QT is good but TTTech is better (I do not know NDBH help please).


Overall seems like yet another good week for the gourgs. I've heard this week is pretty pivotal so good luck to all y'all down there fighting for the scraps! :psysly:

first you we gave you predictions from someone who doesn't know half these players, now here's predictions from someone who doesn't know a third of these players!

(3) Tier 1 Boomers vs Po-Town-Probopass (4)
M4A: bekama vs pupugugu - i don't play M4A, this is a guess
FEUU: IsoCon vs analysis geek - I see no reason why the GEEK STREAK won't continue. Iso's good, but analysis geek has been on fire.
HGOU: Voyager vs bynum - You'd think that someone who's on/was on council for HG would know more about these players but I don't. That being said, I've heard that both Voyager and bynum are insanely good, so I went with Voyager since bynum's coming off of 2 losses
REST: Gekokeso vs Mossy Sandwich - I trust Mossy even though he's 0-3
ALT: Noctrine vs Clasmia - I don't know Alt, I picked the name I recognize
JOLTOU: Xrn vs megaspoopy000 - Xrn has been a roll these last two weeks and, while I like spoopy, Xrn should have this one
NDBH: XxSevagxX vs Gravity Monkey - I trust Grav to pull out some heat cuz I didn't know he played NDBH either, but for a prediction I still have to go Sevag

(2) Manicunos Manicunos :jokerfication: vs Workers Union of Gensokyo (5)
M4A: Amberr vs adem - adem is coming off a win and looked good doing it while Amberr is coming off a loss, so I'll go adem for this one
FEUU: earl vs anaconja - Probably the highest concentration of skill in a specific meta out of any matchup in the tour so far other than maybe scoop/zxg last week or scoop/Duo this week. On paper it's a toss-up, but I'm big on narratives and curses in sports, so I'm going ana because earl is probably gonna get unlucky again and go 0-4
HGOU: 447323a vs LRXC - Honestly a toss-up cuz I hyped both of these players up a lot during the draft and both got their first wins last week. I'll go LRXC just because he's been grinding more
REST: Scoopapa vs DuoM2 - scoop's gotta go 4-1 for that price tag, right?
ALT: G-Luke vs SiceXV - G-Luke is the King of Alt (ignore the part where he lost Week 1), so even though Sice is the only 3-0 Alt player right now, Luke should still get this on paper
JOLTOU: swag god vs dex - Not counting earl cuz it's looking like he'll only play 1 week of Jolte, dex is looking like the best JolteMons player in the tour right now. He's grinding, he's finding broken stuff, he's making amazing plays on the fly, he's the only 3-0 Jolte player, I think he's got this one
NDBH: Nihilslave vs cityscapes - city is literally council on regular BH (and so is Sevag apparently, TIL), and has the best prepping partner in anaconja, so she should be good here

(5) Phantomire Gourgeists vs Close Combat Comrades (2)
M4A: Sticky Fingaaa vs ARandomPerson - Sticky doesn't lose. Probably actually a toss-up though, both are undefeated and Indigo just beat Sticky in the M4A Tour Playoff Finals, albeit in VGC and UU and not OU
FEUU: Tapler vs Bobsican - I think Tapler knows how to play against stall
HGOU: NotCopen vs Rezzo - Rezzo is the Sticky Fingaaa of HG, sorry Copen
REST: zxgzxg vs Monai - Despite not being undefeated anymore, I wouldn't be surprised if Monai just wins again for no reason, but zxg should have this on paper
ALT: Darkrai Retribution vs Paulluxx - Alt Paul?????? Picking Darkrai just to be safe since they've been doing great but honestly Paul's skilled enough to pull this one out
JOLTOU: Beaf Cultist vs scorbunnys - HUGE toss up, both are about evenly matched like Beaf said. I'd said Beaf has the teambuilding advantage over scor since he has zxg for support and is more willing to use weird dumb stuff, but scor's ability to adapt on the fly makes him equally able to win this. If I had to guess, I'd pick Beaf as of now just because he has a ton of momentum after haxing beating earl, but it's close
NDBH: TTTech vs Quantum Tesseract - QT also doesn't lose + they're one of 2 players in this tournament that were in the first Pet Mods Grand Slam back in 2018 (the other being earl), so they get a power up from being an OG

can't wait to be wrong and the manicunos go 7-0 or something

Here's my prediction. I will only consider M4A since I'm not super familiar with any other format and their respective players.
(0) turnTier 1 Boomers vs Po-Town-Probopass (0)
M4A: bekama vs pupugugu

pupugugu often delivers good, consistent results and is a strong player. Real life might limit his time on teambuilding and training, however. So, that's something bekama could take advantage of. I still favour pupugugu at the moment due to his greater capabilities as a player.

M4A: Amberr vs adem

I don't have any ideas about these two new M4A players. So, it's difficult to gauge their skills more accurately. Amberr has my vote since they managed to almost win against sticky despite their lack of knowledge and experience in that format. That has to count for something, even if it was just a Bo1.

M4A: Sticky Fingaa vs ARandomPerson

Uh, once again, they face each other. For context: they've recently faced each other in the finals of Paul's big Individual Tournament. While Indigo came out victorious, it was because of UU and VGC. Meaning, he has yet to prove himself against sticky in OU. Currently, out of all the M4A participants in the Pet Mod Premier League, sticky is the strongest player (unless iso decides to join him in that format as well), which is not surprising given his great knowledge, consistency, preparation, and game awareness. However, Indigo has shown time and again he can surprise us. So, I will be eagerly looking forward to the match between these two guys!

M4A: Amberr vs adem - both are probably going to load natdex team so unless one of them loads a mon that crushes nat dex archetypes (Hint: Talonflame, Alolatales, Slowking,) it should be balanced. Still adem is currently the only one with a win.
FEUU: earl vs anaconja - Both are metagame titans who have had some very rough weeks, and with how terrible Earl's and particular have been im giving it to ana.
HGOU: 447323a vs LRXC - Both seem really good, but LRXC is the one putting the most effort
REST: Scoopapa vs DuoM2 - Everyone hyping up Scoop for good reason but i feel like Duo should be given enough credit, they do have the same record of win-lose.
ALT: G-Luke vs SiceXV - Monopoly man vs Guy who has actually kept on winning. Still gonna give it to luke due to innovation.
JOLTOU: swag god vs dex - Dex is the current best performer in Jolte, he should have this matchup be rather easy for him.
NDBH: Nihilslave vs cityscapes - City + Ana seem like a really good duo, and while the manicunos do have ties to the bh community i just feel like the workers got the community more at their side.

This matchup seems like one will likely murder the other, especially if comrades and boomers win their respective weeks.

(4-5) Phantomire Gourgeists vs Close Combat Comrades (2-3)
M4A: Sticky Fingaaa vs ARandomPerson - Sticky is likely coming to get his revenge, but will he succeed in defeating the most backed up m4a player in the tour? Find out next time in PMPLZ!
FEUU: Tapler vs Bobsican - Iso, a terrible unexperienced player in the tier was able to outplay Bob's stall, im sure that tapler as a more expirienced player should also be able to replicate this.
HGOU: NotCopen vs Rezzo - The description of Rezzo being the hg sticky is slightly inaccuarate, id say he is more in par of a HG Blueray due to his level of metagame knowledge and overall prepration. Still, it does get right that Rezzo is a monster in HG so he can easily take this win.
REST: zxgzxg vs Monai - A strong player in Monai looks rough in paper, but considering he lost to a guy who played the tier exactly 2 times before the match with given teams i see my chances resting on Zxgzxg.
ALT: Darkrai Retribution vs Paulluxx - Look i like Paul, he is overall one of the strongest players i have ever met and i have nothing but sheer respect for him. But all have seen the tragedy of Earl's PMPL career due to hax, and i can't escape the feeling that the unluckiest player i ever met will be able to survive in such a haxy enviroment.
JOLTOU: Beaf Cultist vs scorbunnys - Toss up, although i really like Scor beaf just seems like the player that can choke in a match multiple times and still manage to come back.
NDBH: TTTech vs Quantum Tesseract - QT has currently the 3-0 record, so i see more chances for QT.

This matchup seems like mostly an ego booster, i really hope gourgs bring quality heat tho, as they have by mathemathical probability already classified to finals.

Time for Probo slaughter bois, if we win like 3 matches alone they are likely out, so boomers vs Probopasses is less of a fight for survival and more on the line if these doodoo heads take us out with them.
