Moves
========

  • Low Kick is used as its high PP allows Mega Mewtwo X to have a safe move to click. In addition, while Low Kick's BP is variable, in general it has a high BP against most Pokemon in the metagame. In particular, it targets Registeel, Dialga, Regigigas and other Pokemon that are weak to Fighting. In addition, it can 2HKO variants of Primal Kyogre that lack Fur Coat while also 3HKOing Primal Groudon.
  • Close Combat can be used over Low Kick for a Fighting-type attack that has guaranteed high power, allowing Mega Mewtwo X to hit Mega Audino and Magearna much harder as well as threaten Kartana. However, its lower PP, defense drops as well as Low Kick often having the same BP as it results in Close Combat being generally outclassed, unless Mega Mewtwo X is facing the aforementioned Pokemon.
  • Knock Off removes Safety Goggles and Leftovers from defensive Pokemon, Choice items and Life Orb from offensive Pokemon, while also hitting Psychic- and Ghost-types that resist Mega Mewtwo X's Fighting-type attacks such as Giratina, Cresselia, Aegislash, Mega Slowbro and Mega Mewtwo Y. In addition, it removes items from Imposter Pokemon, often making them hesitant to switch into Mega Mewtwo X and reducing their effectiveness for the rest of the game and providing consistent neutral damage. Knock Off functions very well alongside Spore due to removing Safety Goggles that would otherwise prevent Spore from being used successfully.
  • Icicle Crash can alternatively be used to hit Dragon-types that aren't hit super effectively by Mega Mewtwo X's Fighting-type attack, such as Giratina, Zygarde-C and Mega Rayquaza. However, Knock Off is preferred due to the added utility and wider coverage. In addition, if Mega Mewtwo X opts to run Glare, Icicle Crash can attempt to flinch paralyzed foes in order to prevent them from moving.
  • Alternatively, Avalanche can be used to prevent slower foes from successfully suppressing Poison Heal with Core Enforcer while also hitting Dragon-types such as Zygarde-C and Giratina effectively. However, the low priority is a double-edged sword, as if Mega Mewtwo X needs to KO a target with Ice-type coverage, it cannot without granting the foe an opportunity to do whatever it wishes before.
  • Will-O-Wisp is used to force recovery from defensive Pokemon such as Zygarde-C and Giratina. In addition, it cripples physically offensive Pokemon such as Kartana and opposing Mega Mewtwo X. Will-O-Wisp can also scout for Magic Bounce or Flash Fire for teammates. In addition, Will-O-Wisp can cripple Imposter Pokemon that wish to transform into Mega Mewtwo X, allowing Mega Mewtwo X to win against them in 1v1 situations.
  • Spore is used to try and handle Pokemon that aren't definitively 2HKOed but are 3HKOed by Mega Mewtwo X, such as Primal Groudon. It can also cripple slower offensive threats that would normally force Mega Mewtwo X out such as Mega Rayquaza and Mega Diancie. Spore and Knock Off together allow Mega Mewtwo X to force recovery from and potentially beat Pokemon such as Giratina, Zygarde-C and Mega Audino.
  • Glare can be used to reduce the speed of offensive threats such as Mega Mewtwo Y, opposing Mega Mewtwo X, and Mega Beedrill.
  • Stealth Rock is used to help other teammates get OHKOs they need, while also functioning as good chip and wearing down opposing Pokemon whenever they come in. Mega Mewtwo X makes a fantastic Stealth Rock setter due to forcing out Magic Bounce Pokemon such as Registeel and Primal Kyogre.
  • U-turn can instead be used to damage Pokemon which may switch into Mega Mewtwo X, while bringing in a teammate that may be better suited to handle the check.
  • King's Shield is used to reduce damage from -ate users that may wish to revenge kill Mega Mewtwo X if they use Fake Out or Extreme Speed. It can also be used on damaging moves to try and activate Toxic Orb safely. However, Stealth Rock or U-turn tend to have more utility, and King's Shield doesn't block status moves, so Mega Mewtwo X may not be able to safely activate its Toxic Orb.
  • Spiky Shield can be used to attempt to gain damage on Pokemon that click U-turn while also damaging -ate users that use Extreme Speed to try and revenge kill Mega Mewtwo X. It can also be used to activate Toxic Orb on every move. However, U-turn or Stealth Rock have more utility. Alongside Knock Off, it can make Shedinja think twice about clicking a contact move, as clicking a contact move would mean a KO once Shedinja's item has been removed.
  • Sunsteel Strike can be used in the 4th moveslot to 2HKO Mega Audino after Stealth Rock and OHKO Mega Diancie. However, Mega Mewtwo X appreciates the utility of the other moves more, as these are Pokemon it will generally lose to.
  • Alternatively, Anchor Shot can be used to trap Imposter Pokemon while also 3HKOing Mega Audino and OHKOing Mega Diancie.
  • Spikes can be used in the 4th moveslot to hit Grounded Pokemon which wish to switch in harder than Stealth Rock does. However, Spikes does not hit Mega Rayquaza or Yveltal, and it makes Mega Mewtwo X harder to Imposterproof.
Set Details
========

  • Toxic Orb provides a guaranteed way to activate Poison Heal.
  • Poison Heal is used to passively recover health, especially on defensive Pokemon. Combined with Toxic Orb, it also allows Mega Mewtwo X to handle Imposter Pokemon on its own.
  • A Jolly Nature is used to outspeed as many threats as possible.
  • Alternatively, an Adamant nature can be used in order to assure the OHKO on Regigigas with Low Kick. However, an Adamant nature fails to outspeed Mega Rayquaza or speed tie with opposing Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Gengar, much more common offensive threats.
Usage Tips
========

  • Mega Mewtwo X can switch into Poison Heal Regigigas and KO it with Low Kick, while also taking a +1 Facade from full health if needed.
  • Mega Mewtwo X can switch into passive Pokemon such as Mega Audino, Registeel, and Aegislash if required, as it can recover damage inflicted by U-turn, provided that no entry hazards are up. However, it must be wary of Spectral Thief, Core Enforcer, or other ability removing moves such as Entrainment, and if entry hazards are up then Mega Mewtwo X takes damage rather than recovers health while also providing the opponent with a free switch.
  • King's Shield or Spiky Shield can often be used to scout for moves from Choice item users or from defensive foes, while also passively gaining recovery.
  • Make sure to scout for Magic Bounce by using Will-O-Wisp or Spore, as having Stealth Rock bounced back to your side can be detrimental to your momentum.
  • Make sure to scout for Core Enforcer users with your other teammates, as Mega Mewtwo X cannot afford to take on Core Enforcer users such as Giratina and Zygarde-C.
  • When you are not sure what move to click, every move is quite safe due to their high PP, with Knock Off in particular being a good choice due to the ability to remove items from Pokemon that wish to come in. Stealth Rock should be used carefully.
  • Against Imposter Pokemon, use Will-O-Wisp if they have not been burned yet, as a burn will reduce their damage output, gradually wear them down and deny them any recovery at all. After they have been burned, use Knock Off to remove their item, lessening their bulk if they are holding Eviolite or reducing their Speed if they opt for Choice Scarf.
Team Options
========

  • Mega Audino is a fantastic teammate, as it is immune to Core Enforcer and Spectral Thief, both moves which are commonly found on defensive Pokemon and give Mega Mewtwo X trouble. Mega Audino can also often switch into Giratina, as Giratina will often lack moves to threaten it. In addition, Mega Audino can viably run Magic Bounce, which prevents Imposter Pokemon from successfully getting Stealth Rock onto your side of the field.
  • Other Magic Bounce users such as Registeel and Giratina can be used for this purpose as well.
  • Offensive Pokemon such as Mega Diancie, Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Rayquaza and Kartana enjoy Mega Mewtwo X's ability to set up Stealth Rock while also enjoying Steel types being removed. If running U-turn, Mega Mewtwo X can also provide momentum to these Pokemon. In return, they can threaten out Giratina and other defensive Pokemon which may attempt to check Mega Mewtwo X.
  • Imposter Pokemon such as Chansey are appreciated due to their exceptional ability to scout Pokemon or moves which can give this set issues.
  • Pokemon with low base speed such as Mega Audino and Registeel can help Mega Mewtwo X safely activate Toxic Orb if they opt to run a pivoting move.
  • Steel-type Pokemon such as Registeel and Celesteela can run Prankster sets with Haze in order to stop setup sweepers that would generally dissuade Mega Mewtwo X from coming in.
  • Pokemon which can switch in on Mega Rayquaza such as RegenVest Dialga, base form Diancie, and Soundproof Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro are appreciated so that Mega Mewtwo X does not have to worry about priority Flying-type moves from Mega Rayquaza.

  • Stealth Rock is used to help other teammates get OHKOs they need, while also functioning as good chip and wearing down opposing Pokemon whenever they come in. Also note that MMX is a great setter due to it forcing a lot of switchins combined with it threatening common Mbounce mons like Pogre and Registeel.
  • U-turn can instead be used to damage Pokemon which may switch into Mega Mewtwo X, while bringing in a teammate that may be better suited to handle the check.
  • King's Shield is used to reduce damage from -ate users that may wish to revenge kill Mega Mewtwo X if they use Extreme Speed. Mention that combined with Koff it effectively scare Sturdinja from ever clicking a contact move.
  • Mention of Avalanche and Sunsteel Strike and Anchor Shot.

im not qc anymore, but i'd like to make a couple of suggestions.

  • the section on icicle crash should mention that it hits mega ray
  • the section about spore is a bit odd. the mention of zekrom is weird because thats a fairly uncommon mon and because neither mmx nor zekrom really has any business coming in against the other. its not really relevant that it hits kyub bc kyub gets kicked anyway. spore's utility is far greater than this bit suggests: knock + spore is a huge part of why this mon is even good bc it lets it really annoy a ton of tina/zyg/audino sets that would wall it otherwise and it makes it harder to check offensively bc mons like specs ray or mg diancie that would force it out just get slept

implemented these.

* Close Combat does way more to Mega Audino than low kick (I think the calc is like 33-41%), almost a 2hKO with rocks and a bit of chip. I recommend to be more specific about targets you'd want to use it for such as Audino, Kart, and a few other light mons.
*Add that icicle crash can sometimes invalidate counters with flinches. Rare, but with the 24 pp, it happens more than you might first think
*Will-o-wisp bullet seems incomplete
* Glare can be slashed in with spore/wow on para-spam teams, MMX can take a single hit from all but specs MMY, a U-turn from mega Beedrill, etc, and glare it so that it can be outsped by something later.
* Spikes in the fourth moveslot to hit grounded switchins harder, such as Gira, Tapu Fini Zyc-C, Mega Audino. Makes it more annoying to improof though, you really need to pair it up with MB Audino or something
* I really don't see the value of Anchor Shot here, because no sane person is staying in against any of the listed fairy types, and really, if you can knock and spore/willo the imposter and it can't heal on you that's enough pressure for a decent player, I think.

usage tips
you can switch mmx in on lots of passive stuff as PH will recover most u-turn damage, but only if hazards aren't up, because they make him merely break even with ph recovery at best, and give the opponent a free switch too.

team options
* Something to deal with priority-based mega ray sets is helpful, like AV dialga or something.
* something to check setup sweepers that beat it like prankster Haze (may just want to merge with steel)

In particular, it targets Registeel, Dialga Gigas (mention by name) and other Pokemon that are weak to Fighting. In addition, it can 2HKO variants of Primal Kyogre that lack Fur Coat while also 3HKOing Primal Groudon.

However, its lower PP, defense drops as well as Low Kick often having the same BP as it results in Close Combat being generally outclassed, unless Mega Mewtwo X is facing a Kartana. "the aforementioned mons"
  • Knock Off removes "key items like" Safety Goggles and Leftovers from defensive Pokemon, Choice items and Life Orb from offensive Pokemon, while also hitting Psychic- and Ghost-types that resist Mega Mewtwo X's Fighting-type attacks such as Giratina, Cresselia, Aegislash and Mega Slowbro Mega Mewtwo Y. In addition, it removes items from Imposter Pokemon, often making them hesitant to switch into Mega Mewtwo X and reducing their effectiveness for the rest of the game also provides consistent neutral damage. Knock Off functions very well alongside Spore due to removing items such as Safety Goggles and Lum Berry that would otherwise prevent Spore from being used successfully. lum also applies to burn/para, talk about status in general
• Will-O-Wisp is used to force recovery from defensive Pokemon such as Zygarde-C LK does decent damage to nonFC zyg, maybe talk about dino or regenvest mons and Giratina.

Wary of sleep clause
  • Glare can be used to reduce the speed of offensive threats such as Mega Mewtwo Y, opposing Mega Mewtwo X, and Mega Beedrill.
  • Stealth Rock is used to help other teammates get OHKOs they need GP: I don't know how i feel about this, SR can be used to turn 3hk to 2hk, 2hk to 1hk or whatever, maybe make this part more generic while also functioning as good chip and wearing down opposing Pokemon whenever they come in. Mega Mewtwo X makes a fantastic Stealth Rock setter due to forcing out Magic Bounce Pokemon such as Registeel and Primal Kyogre. also can threaten regenvest spinners and chip down common defoggers, also can set up SR repeatedly while gaining hp
  • U-turn can instead be used to damage Pokemon which may switch into Mega Mewtwo X, while bringing in a teammate that may be better suited to handle the check.
  • King's Shield is used to reduce damage from -ate users that may wish to revenge kill Mega Mewtwo X if they use Extreme Speed Fake out.
It can also be used to activate Toxic Orb on every "nearly any" move. However, U-turn or Stealth Rock have more utility. Alongside Knock Off, it can make Shedinja think twice about clicking a contact move, as clicking a contact move would mean a KO once Shedinja's item has been removed. i think should specify pads, doesnt work for just any item, also specify that m2x itself can remove the item all in one
  • Sunsteel Strike can be used in the 4th moveslot to 2HKO Mega Audino after Stealth Rock and OHKO Mega Diancie. However, Mega Mewtwo X appreciates the utility of the other moves more, as these are Pokemon it will generally lose to.

  • Poison Heal is used to passively recover health, especially on defensive Pokemon. Combined with Toxic Orb, it also allows Mega Mewtwo X to handle Imposter Pokemon on its own.
  • A Jolly Nature is used to outspeed as many threats as possible. and tie mega Gengar with koff as last resort/emergency
Usage Tips
========
First talk about activating Torb
  • Mega Mewtwo X can switch into Poison Heal Regigigas and KO it with Low Kick, while also taking a +1 Facade from full health if needed. idk, you just said you need adamant to ohko which is not as recommended, so this probably shouldnt be the first usage tip and/or rephrase "KO"
  • When you are not sure what move to click, every move is quite safe due to their high PP contradicts next line about SR - i would just say Koff or WoW on the switch, with Knock Off in particular being a good choice due to the ability to remove items from Pokemon that wish to come in.

  • Mega Audino is a fantastic teammate, as it is immune to Core Enforcer and Spectral Thief, both moves which are commonly found on defensive Pokemon and give Mega Mewtwo X trouble. Mega Audino can also often switch into Giratina, as Giratina will often lack moves to threaten it. In addition, Mega Audino can viably run Magic Bounce, which prevents Imposter Pokemon from successfully getting Stealth Rock onto your side of the field. somewhat unclear if this is for other mons only or as a backup improof as well, cause you mention imposter later but then also dont mention how you need something to not get burnt/slept
  • Other Magic Bounce users such as Registeel and Giratina can be used for this purpose as well. "this purpose" as in sending out MB regi on imposter m2x? might want to clarify/rephrase
  • Offensive Pokemon such as Mega Diancie, Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Rayquaza and Kartana enjoy Mega Mewtwo X's ability to set up Stealth Rock while also enjoying Steel types being removed. If running U-turn, Mega Mewtwo X can also provide momentum to these Pokemon . In return, they can threaten out Giratina and other defensive Pokemon which may attempt to check Mega Mewtwo X. this line is what should be emphasized as all the mons you listed are just examples of this
  • Imposter Pokemon such as Chansey are appreciated due to their exceptional ability to scout Pokemon or moves which can give this set issues.
  • Pokemon which can switch in on Mega Rayquaza such as RegenVest Dialga, base form Diancie, and Soundproof Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro are appreciated so that Mega Mewtwo X does not have to worry about priority Flying-type moves from Mega Rayquaza.
include: gengar check for mold/norm variants that might tie or outspeed

i actually thought you wanted me to do the full check. i knew i was feeling some intense deja vu. however i did add a few new things this time
