Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Welcome to "I just misread my arena again." I guess being careful just isn't one of my traits. But, I digress.
Yogan (F)
ABIL: Dry Skin, Illuminate
Gigantic metal bell thing, prepare to meet your hopefully fiery end!
Fire Spin - Venoshock - Heat Wave IF (Protective / Evasive Action non-consecutively on Fire Spin) THEN (Use Acid Armor and push actions back)
[ONCE] IF (Earthquake is used) AND (You are faster) AND (You have used Fire Spin successfully) THEN (Use Will-O-Wisp and push actions back)
Using the U-turn to swing momentum his way the leader sends out his own version of a Mollux, this one called Yogan. She wastes no time getting to work and even if her STAB might be neutered by the stupid weaknessless Bronzong she traps it in a Fire Spin none the less. Mirage is unfazed by the residual damage and simply twists the whole field around with a Trick Room.
Energized by its new found speed Mirage acts to rectify one of the nastier effects of the arena and repairs its skin with an Iron Defence. The actual defence boost is a total afterthought as it renders the Bronzong once again totally immune to Engineer's poisonous assaults. Finally thinking its time to get in a hit of its own Bronzong unleashes an Earthquake to target Yogan's wide open four times weakness. At least the slug is able to burn Mirage so as to weaken further attempts at it. Oh and then the frankly absurd 4 HP per action regeneration kicks in for the Mollux.

TRICK ROOM (3 rounds)
Partial Trapping moves and exactly what is required to keep them active but for the sake of right now I'm gonna assume Mollux's Fire and Poison attacks come from different bodily sources so only another Fire attack will break the Spin. Also I'm saying a 'round' is 3 actions so Bronzong keeps its Poison immunity for 3 actions after Iron Defence.

TRICK ROOM (3 rounds)
With Trick Room in place and Mirage acting unusually speedily Gerard looks to finish his set up with a Light Screen to attempt to neuter Mollux's offence near totally. In fact Yogan demonstrates how useless it is on the physical side by meekly extending one of its tentacles to whack the Bronzong. Unfortunately the swipe also Knocked Off the bell's Rare Candy! Mirage shakes off the loss and again looks to target Yogan's largest weakness but with the burn weighing it down the hit isn't as damaging as previous. Engineer on the other hand has a way around the screen with some hotly debated stat drops. Fortunately for him the first Acid Spray hits critically and ignores the screen anyway! Mirage follows with a typical Psychic barrage as Mollux spits more acid and leaves Mirage with virtually no Special Defence to speak off at all! Oh and theres a metric shit-ton of after action effects too but I'll just let you read them all for yourself.
Action 1 Mirage: Light Screen > Mirage is protected against special attacks![7 EN] Yogan: Knock Off > CRIT [<=63] 167/1000: NO > (4 + (2-5)*1.5) = -0.5 ~ 1 > Mirage's Rare Candy was knocked off![1 DMG] [3 EN]

(I just noticed - Fire-type attacks have -1.5 BAP so Fire Spin two rounds ago should've done 1.5 less DMG)
"Keep on pushing, Yogan; this bell thing can't last long!"
Fire Spin - Venoshock - Venoshock IF (Iron Defense is used) THEN (Acid Spray - Fire Spin on A2 and A3 instead)
IF (Protective / Evasive Action successfully) THEN (Use Aqua Ring the first time, chill the second, and push actions back)
It's going slow but at least it's going somewhere.. Mirage is growing ever tired of the corrosion Engineer's arena is constantly subjecting it to so once again forms an Iron Defence to regain its natural immunity. Unfortunately Yogan just once again traps it in a Fire Spin. Mirage tries to play the ultimate of stalling tactics with some RestTalking and while it sure does get rid of that pesky burn another Acid Spray from the slug cuts its Special Defence to frankly unfathomable levels and the Bronzong's sleeping Bulldoze is barely enough to counteract Yogan's natural healing for the round while the rest Bronzong took does little to counteract the damage that is piling up on it. There you have it folks, Acid Spray can actually be kind of scary..

The set up work has all been completed and while Mirage is able to Bulldoze some more in its sleep for grazing damage before Yogan is able to unleash Engineer's signature Venoshock to wake up the dozing (lolpuns!) Bronzong and in the process bring it very close to finally going down. In fact Yogan looks happy to let the residual damage do the work for him as he Recovers off most of Mirage's Earthquake while watching the Fire Spin finally bring Bronzong down! Now it's all up to the blob.

Gastro Acid - Venoshock - Sludge Bomb IF (Successful Protective / Evasive Action) THEN (chill the first, Recover the second, and push actions back)
IF (Gavroche has Double Team clones when you act) THEN (Sludge Wave and push actions back)
Engineer has been forever complaining about how to deal with green amorphous blobs in this gym and right away he shows off the answer. A Gastro Acid strips away Gavroche's abilities and in the process takes away her main advantage in this match. The blob at least sets another Trick Room to give Gerard's slow team back the ability to act first. She then sets about erecting a Light Screen to lessen the blows but with such frankly ridiculous HP recovery on Engi's side attempting to stall this out is totally futile. Even with the screens up a one-two punch of Venoshock and Sludge Bomb is able to do a decent amount to the Reuniclus, who on the other hand has the impressive damage of her Psychic attack almost totally nullified by Yogan's recovery.
Okay, maybe all out damage doesn't work here either. Gerard does his best but Yogan and its downright perfectly made for ASB movepool simply sits there and Bides all the incoming damage from the Reuniclus' second successive Psychic attack and a Rock Slide to boot to completely avoid the Light Screen, Focus Sash and anything else to deal massive damage to the blob before finally succumbing to its own energy loss. Engineer now has his pick of mons to take on a severely weakened Gavroche and this one may be mercifully over soon. On the plus side as least she has her highly useful abilities back.
No prizes for guessing Sasori was going to be next to hit the field on the leader's size. Anyone who plans to bring a Psychic to counter this place needs to find a way around this tough little girl first. Gavroche looks to kind of have one, with the Trick Room on her side a Reflect is able to dampen the Drapion's offence and allow the Reuniclus to wear some Payback rather well. She is then able to hit back with a super powerful Endeavour. Even if it does come at a very high energy cost that move is still ridiculous. Unfortunately it might be too little too late for Gerard because even though a well timed Recover is able to see Gavroche last out the round despite further Dark assaults from Sasori it doesn't look like she has much more left to give. Valliant effort none the less.
