Pokémon GO

I really wish Niantic would ban for that glitch, it is blatent cheating afterall. just wish Niantic would allow people to max to 40 legit anyway... and give me more control over the pokestop spin items.. fed up of getting 1 20hp potion every 3 spins... these are NO USE TO ME WHEN MY BLISSEY NEEDS HEALING.

Exactly this. It's beyond pathetic that you actually have to cheat to get your Pokemon to their maximum level. It actually holds me back to becoming level 40 eventually. (Not that I'm close at all (level 32) but still.)

I'm just hoping I won't have to play incubator roulette. Not funny when they put ultra rares in 2km still with green-spotted egg and we spend incubators hoping for them only to get <list every annoying 'mon from egg here> and hopes crushed.

Already bought Lucky Egg two weeks ago. Sighs... could've saved 600-ish coins, but my Pokemon box was screaming....

At least this means I get to remove a lot of things now. Time to evolve everything.

hah my go+ caught a 2011 CP Pinsir... pressed the bottom to spin a stop while on the tram and it locked onto the pinsir instead.

2 10km eggs received today, and the announcement does say there are MORE pokemon in 2km eggs.. so hopefully they add the gen 2 starters.

Easter event announced. Double EXP and a wider variety of Pokemon available from 2km eggs from 2000 UTC on April 13th to 2000 UTC on April 20th.

So the leaks have been falling in line since the Gen 2 release (We knew this event would happen, but yesterday we got the details before Niantic unveiled it).

I've been sitting on 13000 Pidgey candy and 10000 Rattata candy since the last mass evo I did (during the double exp event in November). My goal this event is to get to 38 in a few days, and then aim for level 39 as best as possible until the end of the week. It's finals week here at uni but hell if I'm not prepared to brave the storm here.

What are you guys doing?

do you have the 1200 pidgey you need to evolve with that many candy? do you have the coins to buy that many lucky eggs? either way, that's crazy.

personally, I'm just hoping that I can get porygon + more mareep / larvitar / dratini during this event, could not care less about exp since I don't have any pidgey to evolve.

About yesterday...

I've never been so salty about this game.

Murkrow is my candy dump mon. Cheap XP, but they're not as viable as you'd think for combat.

I also keep stockpiles of Eon and Ursa candies for when I've got the stardust for it. Egg candies, too, but not as many since Vday.

That means the egg list is reshuffled, not too much of event specials and more into mechanics change, I think. Well, I'll have to see the result of the reshuffle.

Scratch that, people report getting rare things from 2k eggs. This is too good to be kept true after the events. My fear that they play this incubator roulette is proven true.

... at least I woke up to find a Larvitar besides my bed.

Holy shiiiiiiiit, people are getting Larvitar and Aerodactyl from 2km eggs.

**** Niantic, playing the $$$ game to almost force players to buy incubators.

yea but that means the 2km egg pool is massive..
Yeah that's true indeed. But unfortunately, for some miraculous reason, I'm now continuously getting 10km eggs out of nowhere. Hatching them takes literally five times longer than 2km eggs, while the same Pokemon can be in there (?). But that might be bad luck too.

and you get LESS candy when you hatch them then you would normally.
Excuse me? Do you mean you get less candy when you hatch the same mons from 2km eggs that are normally in 10km eggs?

Also, does anyone maybe have a sheet or any info at all on which Pokemon can currently (with this event) hatch from all the different eggs?

EDIT: Found it here.

they're also 2k eggs. they hatch pretty damn fast and if you're fairly devoted you can hatch upwards of 5 a day. whether you get what you want is of course still a crapshoot, but

hatched Aerodactyl and Scyther from 2km eggs.. and yes you get like 10 candy... hatched a Pineco from a 10km and got 20... wtf.
worked out one of the large parks that is a nest is about 2km round trip.. :D

Yeah, I think the 'double amount of candies' upon egg hatches got implemented wrongly, or not even at all.

I'm still getting 8 candies sometimes. And while 6 is usually the minimum, I should have gotten at least 12. Other people have been reporting the same.

they never said double, just "more", apparently. "more" happens to be +3 lol

apparently Porygon is in 10km eggs... great.. a load of junk REMOVED.. and they put Porygon in there.. Pinco is annoying enough.

Oh, I didn't know they changed those as well. The article I provided earlier only covers 2km eggs and 5km eggs. Do you have a list of the changes made to 10km eggs somewhere?
