Hey guys
I'm trying to put together a good Super Single battle subway team, based around my (jolly) Smeargle. My idea was to make Smearge my lead, then get a usually slow sweeper like Rhyperior or Rampardos in to receive the Baton Pass boost and have either a (special) sweeper or staller as third Pokemon as backup.
Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Own Tempo
252 HP / 252 Spe
Jolly
--Spore
--Shell Smash
--Baton Pass
--Roar/Quiver Dance/something?
Basic Baton Pass Smeargle. Not certain about the 4th move, I thought about using Roar to possibly Spore a second Pokemon if the Focus Sash is still intact, or Quiver Dance if I want to use a Special sweeper as third Pokemon. Not sure about that one yet.
Rhyperior @ Life Orb
Solid Rock
252 Att / 252 Spe / 4 Spcl Att
Naughty
--Stone Edge
--Earthquake
--Megahorn
--Ice Beam
Rhyperior has only 1 purpose: receive the Shell Smash boost and take out the 3 opponent's Pokemon. The EdgeQuake combo with Megahorn has near perfect coverage and Ice Beam is there for the annoying dragons or even Grass Pokemon (or Flying Pokemon since Stone Edge has a tricky 80% accuracy).
I also considered using Rampardos instead of Rhyperior with the same moveset, but using Crunch instead of Megahorn. Rampardos has higher Attack than Rhyperior, superior defensive typing (though it won't matter after the Shell Smash defensive nerf) and Mold Breaker to hit Levitate users like Weezing or Gengar. Rhyperior however has STAB Earthquake, Solid Rock and superior coverage with Megahorn and superior bulk to possibly survive a hit (physically, that is).
For the third Pokemon I have considered multiple options: a spcl sweeper that doesn't need the Shell Smash boost to function, like Starmie or Hydreigon. I also considered using a wall or staller, like a Subseeder or Poison Heal Gligar.
I don't have acces to the Dream World yet (Wi-Fi trouble at home, don't even ask >.<) and I have only acces to some 4th gen Tutor Moves. I also don't have acces to event Pokemon and I don't have acces to Latias. I do have acces to pretty much every Pokemon and move outside of that (I already have all Battle Subway TMs and most items, at least the Choice items, Life, Flame and Toxic Orb and Focus Sash, I still don't have some of the more... useless items).
I'm pretty new to both the Super Single Battles and to the Battle Subway in general, though I have some experience in the Double Battle Subways. That's why I posted this, to get some good advice from top trainers.
