first teamtour win! s/o SpaceSpeakers and Pokemh for drafting me, Geysers for all the test games and everyone else who supported / won their games. big teamdump with some brief comments, click on sprites for paste.

Week One vs Jhnfui (W)
:calyrex-ice::kyogre::arceus::hatterene::cresselia::kyogre:
:calyrex-ice::kyogre::arceus::koraidon::arceus-fairy::ting-lu:
Geysers said Calyi looked good. I considered fullroom at first since I thought it'd be funny but I chickened out and just brought something more consistent instead. Both teams were built not that long prior to the tour.

Week Two vs JK (W)
:kingambit::koraidon::landorus-therian::arceus-fairy::calyrex-shadow::ting-lu:
Was expecting HO so I built this and disguised it as a different team that JK knows I use. Pretty clean win here.

Week Three vs Xinnobu (N/A)
:arceus-fairy::kingambit::miraidon::ho-oh::arceus::ting-lu:
:hatterene::kingambit::miraidon::ho-oh::arceus::ting-lu:
Figured agility Mirai would be good into xinnobu. I overslept tho lmao.

Week Four vs Mashing (W)
:koraidon::kingambit::calyrex-shadow::arceus-fairy::ho-oh::ting-lu:
Don't really remember the thought process behind this and I'm not completely sure there was any.

Week 5 vs Skyiew (L)
:miraidon::arceus::koraidon::arceus-fairy::calyrex-shadow::ting-lu:
:zacian-crowned::arceus-ground::koraidon::arceus::ho-oh::ting-lu:
Stolen tech from Glory cause it looked good into scout. Got a pretty meh mu that wasn't helped by the fact I was kinda throwing.

Week 7 vs Remnonc (W)
Not much to say here, I brought a Glory team and it won.

Semifinals vs JK (L)
:ho-oh::alomomola::gliscor::blissey::gliscor::skeledirge:
I was planning to stall some point during this tour and I thought it'd be funny to stall JK especially since it'd be the last thing he'd expect me to bring. Probably played more test games for this one week than the rest of the tour combined. I got the MU but unfortunately played like complete garbage. Heavy inspo from Ellie<3's stalls so s/o for that. Linking some tests games if you want to see the team performing like its supposed to.

Finals vs Iride (W)
:koraidon::koraidon::zacian-crowned::ho-oh::arceus::ting-lu:
:hatterene::miraidon::kyogre::ho-oh::arceus::ting-lu:
:ting-lu::hatterene::ho-oh::arceus::koraidon::kingambit:
:koraidon::miraidon::calyrex-shadow::arceus::arceus-fairy::iron-treads:
Was prepping for what Fc might pass. I considered webbing cause I haven't done that yet but that's a boring way to end the tour. There's a lot of Kyogre in scout so I figured it might be a good time to finally bring Miraidon. Double Korai was prepped bc multi-Korai could've been funny but I'm not usually a fan of double Korai. I was going to bring the Scarf Ho-Oh team I've taken a liking to (although it was inspired by an Fc Ubers team) but Horii didn't end up bringing the team I built for him so I brought it instead. I also don't particularly like Mirai + Korai + Calys structures cause you can't fit everything you want but I figured I could mainer diff. Neither of us ended up bringing Ting-Lu and we both got punished pretty heavily for it. Thankfully I had a Specs Miraidon.

stuff i passed to other people + other versions of the stall team i built for semis that werent used and im too lazy to sprite. these aren't in any particular order. some of these weren't used.
https://pokepast.es/2144aeb512228c2f bootsless double prio

alright heres my teamdump... for every week, i will also include the replay link for convenience. after the actual weeks, i'll include pastes for all the teams i built for this as well, even if i didnt end up bringing them (and replays of these whenever possible).

WEEK 1 - VS DURK27 (W)
:zygarde: :gengar-mega: :arceus-fairy: :arceus-water: :groudon-primal: :ferrothorn:

A team I made a long time ago! Fairly solid balance, with a few spicy choices that can give you an edge. The SD Waterceus with Hydro Z is a massive surprise factor and can work very well if you manage to hide it until the endgame. It did not do anything in the durk game sadly, but in the past it has worked to varying degrees of success. The max spdef rest coil Zygarde is also a bit of an unconventional choice, but this set is terribly annoying to deal with for opposing teams, as even ice beam from groundceus or waterceus will not kill you easily, letting you spread glare everywhere pretty freely. Sadly in the durk game it got crit turn 1... But I swear its a good set lol. Ferro is also on this team, because I think it's a pretty great mon to use on balance in general. Completely walls most ultranec/ndms, and can setup spikes easily on most support arcs who simply cannot deal big dmg to it at all (especially water/fairyceus). The idea for this team is basically to spread status everywhere + force hazard chip until hexgar + waterceus can sweep, or use mgar to remove zygarde's counters like fairyceus and win that way.

WEEK 2 - VS AEROBEE (L)
WEEK 7 - VS PLAGUE (W)
FINALS - VS PLAGUE (W)
:deoxys-speed: :rayquaza-mega: (:necrozma-dusk-mane: / :necrozma-ultra:) :xerneas: :arceus: :arceus-ghost:

A pretty cool screens team that I built for this tour. On the classic side of things, but this team does feature a pretty uncommon mon in CM Ghostceus, which I think is a fucking menace and a half and should definitely see more usage. Pretty much nothing common can easily take this on at +1. I understand that Marshadow's popularity makes this guy a little harder to run, but on a screens team it's not as much of a problem. Ended up bringing this thrice, which I definitely did not expect after losing with it the first time LOL. But I think I heavily misplayed that first game. The ghostceus + ekiller combo lets you troll ditto, which is nice if someone is trying to anti-HO you hehe

WEEK 3 - VS KNOWTREASURE (W)
:chansey: :ferrothorn: :pyukumuku: :arceus-water: :arceus-fairy: :rayquaza-mega:

My take on stall ! This is a team I built a very, very long time ago, when I was still a gen 7 ag laddergoer (so like 10 years ago). I used to absolutely spam this, and it let me (specificially on the aptly named MRay Stall alt) hit the higher ranks of the gen7ag ladder. There are definitely questionable choices on this team, but I think having scarf ray as your last mon on stall lets you control momentum way better than normal stall, and have a good answer to most HOs who can't really deal with it super well. Ferro is way better than fraud skarm at keeping spikes up + actually dealing with phys threats, and Pyukumuku is honestly amazing, despite what the haters might say. It's funny to think that in the game, I ended up winning mostly because of a miss, but Thunder was not actually a guaranteed KO there, and the first time Pyuku came in vs xern, i could have just spammed recover LOL.

WEEK 4 - VS FISHYROADS (L)
:shaymin-sky: :zygarde: :necrozma-dusk-mane: :arceus: :arceus-fairy: :rayquaza-mega:

This one still pains me, because I misplayed this week horrendously lol. Anyways, I wanted to go and explore more uncommon options for AG that seemed usable, and my eyes landed on Skymin. I set out to create an AG Paraspam to enable the little gremlin, deciding to use glare Zygarde and defensive TWave NDM as my yellow magic spreaders. Rounding out the build with the near mandatory mray, support arcfairy because the typing was convenient in tandem with zyg and ndm, and another heat set I love: Max defense recover sd ekiller. That set ended up not doing much this game because I trolled and tried to greed recover in front the max spatk Pdon, but I'm pretty sure that if I had simply killed it while I was at +3 and ~30%, it would have swept the entire game, as Ray's own espeed would fail to ko at that range. The game was also won if I didn't inexplicably try to Z celebrate to outplay the sucker from yvel, but idk sometimes you get in your own head about a very specific thing and make a nonsensical play. Anyways this team is fun and strong (from testing). Try it yourself!

WEEK 5 - VS PAYCARD (L)
:mew: :arceus-fairy: :necrozma-dawn-wings: :stakataka: :stakataka: :rayquaza-mega:

This one is actually my old gen7ag RMT (with a few changes from the original paste, such as arc-fairy => magearna). I always found semiroom to be a very underutilized playstyle in AG; Stakataka is kind of a powerhouse in a tier where bulky waters are pretty much limited to support waterceus ! It has great defensive utility vs MRay as well, and can sweep unsuspecting teams, especially when you have 2 chances at it. I really love this team, and I didn't do it justice during that week (mostly because I assumed the gira-o to be a defensive set with 0 spatk invest, which turned out to not be true, else i'd have went for the switch out into draco play). It's also really cool and I suggest you try it :)

SEMIFINALS - VS FLAMPOKE (W)
:groudon-primal: :arceus-fairy: :rayquaza-mega: :marshadow: (:necrozma-dusk-mane: / :necrozma-ultra:) :arceus-water:

The only team I used that I didn't make. Nat passed this one to me, I think it's a fairly known build. Worked really well and feels super strong and solid!

BONUS TEAMS:

MMY PSYSPAM
- :tapu-lele: :deoxys-attack: :deoxys-attack: :mewtwo-mega-y: (:necrozma-dusk-mane: / :necrozma-ultra:) :xerneas:
A classic psyspam build, but with MMY instead of a third deo-a. This was a cool idea, and the secret tech of counter on mmy lets you beat spdef ndm. Ultimately it was decided that psyspam was too cheesy to bring into finals, but this did pretty ok in testing.
Replay: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7anythinggoes-2575558673-q0t9xj6ry1ltt9479qh0hxuxtfndcbjpw

FUTURE SIGHT PSYCEUS BO - :arceus-psychic: :arceus-fairy: :arceus-steel: :rayquaza-mega: :ho-oh: :magearna:
Did you know arceus learns future sight? This whole team's concept is based around that idea, using future sight + stronged choiced breakers (banded hooh and specs magearna) to make progress, with the 3 arceus core acting as the defensive backbone and scarf ray for speed control / additional breaking.
Replay: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7anythinggoes-2575313663-v74s2iwtxeajbihax0o04uemkos7fy6pw?p2

:pheromosa: :groudon-primal: :rayquaza-mega: :arceus-rock: :arceus-fairy: :aegislash: - pheromosa is fun, outspeed all of the unscarfed tier, but it has issues. in the end i wasnt too convinced by this and scrapped it.

:kangaskhan-mega: :mewtwo: :arceus-fairy: :arceus-electric: :ferrothorn: :chansey:- this one is so fucking peak. i might use this in a later tour.

:groudon: :groudon-primal: :rayquaza-mega: :arceus-fairy: :venusaur: :solrock: - this one was made as an attempt to give geysers a heart attack in the prep channel. ag sun sounds fun but very impractical to use lol. use at your own risk...

Week 1:
Bo3 SS
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8anythinggoes-907276
https://pokepast.es/0c2c7bd64f9d5bf6
https://pokepast.es/f3b73f3302191cec (puff version)
:galvantula: :butterfree: :calyrex-shadow: :yveltal: :xerneas: :necrozma-dusk-mane:
Fun butterfree webs, pretty standard/self explanatory sets. Can go Psyfangs on NDM Modest Yveltal maybe Heat Wave. Galv can be replaced with puff if you want to be able to sometimes prevent rocks for Btterfree to not be sent out at 50%. Also you can do some insane bullshit with Sleep turns so if an NDM or Ho-Oh (rarely runs Whirlwind on Offensive sets which are the most common sets rn) do not switch out you just need some reasonable luck and I think both of those actually just lose. Happened in this replay where we kinda just lose because we don't just go for it with Butterfree on NDM so thought it was worth pointing out.

Week 2:
SS
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8anythinggoes-909074
https://pokepast.es/3f3a2551973001a7
:necrozma-dusk-mane: :eternatus: :yveltal: :zekrom: :groudon: :calyrex-shadow:
A standard Zek Don Caly team. Haze Scarf Caly to deal with Geo Xern at +2 (yeah with our non yen mons being Sub Zek and DD Don we get pretty badly owned by Xern setting up first). First paste was actually https://pokepast.es/fffc1463a1ba73ec this to get rid of ferro and now you have a LO Zekrom vs Ferro Ogre Ditto and a physdef don so you don't lose to the ditto and don't really need to click DD anymore. But I think Geysers thought it was an overcook and that Loti wouldn't ferro ogre ditto here so we stuck with Sub Zek and DD Lum Don.

SS Bo3
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8anythinggoes-909862?p2
https://pokepast.es/643ab772e3c47c10
:xerneas: :ferrothorn: :zacian-crowned: :kyogre: :yveltal: :necrozma-dusk-mane:
Not sure who made this 6 mons first but I think I saw Skarph use this and then Bacon, I really like the Rain + Rest Talk Zac with Geo Xern it is a more offensive approach on Ferro Zac Rain and also lets you offensively beat Etern with something other than bulky Zac + CM Ogre and I guess NDM in rain, the more answers we have to Etern with Etern-less teams like this the better tbh he's an ass to deal with if you don't have your own. I think Premo wanted to use Xern and this team is pretty broken so I passed it and he changed it to Physdef Ferro (I like Spedef here because Etern-less you like Spedef to better take on Ogre).

Week 4
SS
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8anythinggoes-913449
:zygarde-complete: :calyrex-shadow: :necrozma-dusk-mane: :eternatus: :yveltal: :ditto:
Not quite sure exactly what the idea here was but Ditto covers for an HO approach from Crow Crumbs that he may be passed and DD Zyg is pretty broken. And Mik3y liked the team so we went with it. Specs Leaf Storm hits Ogre and Don harder can be replaced with Aroma though. Also Kind of easy to lose to opposing Spedef Etern longterm with this so maybe you can try Cannon over Dtail.

Week 6
SS
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8anythinggoes-916477
https://pokepast.es/2f2709b08bf088ad
:galvantula: :yveltal: :groudon: :zacian-crowned: :zekrom: :calyrex-shadow:
Pretty cool team it can beat Ditto with this evil Zacian set paired with Zekrom + Groudon. And I think Mik3y wanted to HO this week and Geysers liked this team from the HO I linked. I think Lum Zek helps with Ho-Oh and Toxic NDM might be trolled by it. Don set also is unique you can change it to SD over BU if you like the possible calcs SD gives BU might be safer against Ditto teams though.

Semis
SS
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8anythinggoes-921008?p2
:necrozma-dusk-mane: :eternatus: :yveltal: :ho-oh: :zygarde-complete: :calyrex-shadow:
Cool Zyg Scarf Caly Ho-Oh team that is pretty solid into most things. Think we actually won this if we played the Zyg different might actually be a 6-0, regardless cool Zyg set was planning to use last AGWL or AGPL but settled for Zac Xern Ho-Oh there. Be careful vs Stalk Ogre because you pretty much only have Etern for that or attemping progress with Dyna Zyg on Rest turns.

Finals
SS
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8anythinggoes-922920
:zacian-crowned: :kyogre: :landorus-therian: :necrozma-dusk-mane: :eternatus: :yveltal:
Polt's Specs Ogre Zac DD NDM Lando team. Good team just gotta play smartly around or set-up ndm before opponents set-up ndm. I like to abuse Specs Kyogre as much as possible same with Zac really struggles vs HO or Dual Xern so be careful against those teams. Leading Zac and clicking CC then hard Ogre on NDM and now you got rid of the Zac check or they sack Etern because Specs Spout outpaces non Black Sludge Etern.

other teams:

Might link some other stuff when it isn't 1 AM, didn't link pastes to the stuff I didn't either recreate at some point or build myself.
