Wouldn't that ruin the whole "CounterStar" thing? As you want a decent counter to many threats like Gyarados, ScarfChomp, etc but Superpower just prevents that by lowering Attack and Defense? Not to mention if you do want to use it you'll have to resort to using a -Def/SpD nature which would kind of ruin it and invest so many EVs in Attack.

And this is exactly why I'm taking his advice.

Anti - I'm going to be resetting for one once SOMEONE FUCKING TELLS ME HOW TO ON D/P. -_-

Dragon-Shinobi - I believe it has 3 points more than the standard CounterStar.

Ah, that's nice, way better speed, same HP, better defences and SpAtk. The only thing though is that if you switch into a Thunder Wave, you're screwed. Also, Waterfall is neutral on Deoxys. Still, nice set.

@ toxic orb
Poison Heal
Jolly
252 Attack 252 Speed
- Thunder Punch
- Spore
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

Thunderpunch helps it deal with Gayrados

T-Punch + Poison Heal = illegal

...except Breloom can't get Poison Heal and Thunderpunch.

Guys...ignore shaveyadick. The guy is obviously trolling, it's not hard to see that. No one who actually posts seriously is stupid enough to post the kinds of stuff he's been posting since he registered earlier today.

Yeah, I just realized that. All 10 of his posts made him look like either a noob or a jackass or both. The only thread he started is sitting in trou du cul right now. Definitely a troll.

Deoxys-E @ Leftovers
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 HP / 184 SpA / 72 Spe
Ability: Pressure
Moveset:
-Recover
-Psychic
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt

Very nice set, if I had the time to reset for one I definitely would. Hopefully someone has a decent Timid Deoxy I'd like to try this.

With an Expert Belt it's 208, with a Life Orb it's really not much at all. After outspeeding ScarfChomp and maxing out Special Attack, the remaining EVs allow for more than a 2HKO on Blissey. If you want to get the kill without either of these items.. Well I'm not sure you can. Perhaps with a Naughty / Lonely nature, but thats a bit extreme.

UU wall breakers: Sharpedo and Crawdaunt!

Hey folks, its no secret that Dark is my favourite type, and Crawdaunt and Sharpedo are my favourite dark types. Looking at their stats, you can see that they both have respectably high special attack stats. Thanks to the Life Orb, their offensive stats can be boosted high enough to take out the majority of their counters. Lets take a look at the sets.

Sharpedo @ Life Orb
dpmba319.png

Mild Nature
64 ATK 252 Satk 192 Spe

-Surf
-Crunch
-HP Grass
-Ice Beam

Crawdaunt @ Life Orb
dpmba342.png

Mild Nature
68 ATK 252 Satk 188 Spe

-Surf
-Crunch
-HP Grass
-Ice Beam

Think of these nasty sea creatures as the pinnacle of UU mixed attacking. In OU, Infernape has Close Combat to remove Blissey, allowing it to sweep with special attacks. Down in UU, Crunch gets rid of Hypno and Grumpig, doing 88% minimum to standard Restalking Grumpig and 93% minimum to Wish / Seismic Toss Hypno.

Ice Beam is your anti Meganium ensurance. Crunch does 31% minimum, while the following Ice Beam will do 67% minumum. It can do as much as 80%. Basically, Meganium is good as dead if it comes in.

HP Grass removes two of CB Crawdaunt / Sharpedo's main counters; Blastoise and Quagsire. It does 47% min to Blastoise and 128% min to Quagsire. Blastoise has a good chance of escaping a 2HKO, but prior damage or Stealth Rocks ensures the KO. Poliwrath, the bane of Crawdaunt and Sharpedo, takes 50% minimum from HP Grass. Lanturn takes 54% min from Crunch, so don't HP Grass it.

Surf is your secondary STAB. Use it with impunity against any opponent that doesn't resist it. It does massive damage coming off of 412 Satk. It does 32% more than Crunch does in fact, so use Surf a lot. It will rarely let you down.

274 speed outruns Pinsir and Hitmonlee, along with positive base 70s. This allows Sharpedo to deal massive damage to almost anything it cares to. On Crawdaunt, he just runs past minimum speed Meganium, but it should be enough for your wall breaking needs. Sweeping will be difficult however.

WHY USE SHARPEDO > CRAWDAUNT?

Both pokemon have merits. Sharpedo obviously boasts an acceptable speed stat, while Crawdaunt is slower than molasses. However, both pokemon have the same BST, and that speed has to come from somewhere. Sharpedo's defenses are so terrible (70/40/40) that Squirtle is tougher than it. Switching in Sharpedo is nearly impossible, so all those "2HKO the switch-ins" I just mentioned will be hard to pull off if you have to revenge kill. However, getting in on weak Ice Beams and Psychic attacks shouldn't be too difficult. Make the most of Sharpedo's game time, because you'll likely only get one chance at tearing down some walls. Late game, you may be able to sweep, so don't let him die too quickly.

WHY USE CRAWDAUNT < SHARPEDO?

Sharpedo runs circles around Crawdaunt in the speed department. Crawdaunt has the benefit of having the defense to switch in (63/85/55) to stuff other than Psychic. Weak Ice beams, surfs, and resisted physical attacks are all invitations to get Crawdaunt into play. Once he's on the field, getting at least one kill should be very probable. However, 80% of the UU metagame will be able to revenge kill Crawdaunt easily, so hit and run tactics are reccomended. If your opponent is trying to play defensively, Crawdaunt could turn a slow, painful defeat into a GG for you if used correctly.

In conclusion, Crawdaunt and Sharpedo need to be given another look in UU. With high attacking stats, unique resistances and great type coverage, they can do a lot of damage. Sharpedo is rarely seen and Crawdaunt has near Ditto like usage. Try them out; you shan't be disappointed.

**TO GET HP GRASS, DEFENSE AND SPECIAL ATTACK MUST BE 30. THE REST CAN BE 31**

Eh, I suppose this could work...

Raikou @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP/216 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball
- Extrasensory

This Raikou allows you to outspeed ScarfGar and beat it with Shadow Ball. It also lets you beat many things like Deoxys-e and ScarfChomp. The point of this set is to outspeed most Scarfers and hit then hit them with the move that would hurt them the most. After those threats are gone, you can set something like SD Lucario up.

EVs: These EVs let you outspeed Timid ScarfGar, but if you don't fear Timid ScarfGar, you can run enough just to hit 460, which is a Modest Nature 92 HP / 252 SpAtk / 164 Spd.

ScarfChomp has a chance of surviving HP Ice with (252Atk/4Sp.Def/252Spe) [Damage: 325 - 382
Damage: 91.04% - 107.00%] (And even more chance when the EVs aren't with max speed and some Sp.Def EVs)
As for Gengar, Rai doesn't OHKO it with Shadow Ball; [Damage: 78.24% - 92.37%]
So the only way you can surely OHKO both is with Stealth Rock/Spikes or a Modest nature.

IMO the only viable way to use that set is with a Modest Nature, as Timid ScarfGars won't be able to OHKO you anyways, but you'll still get past the Modest ones. Raikou needs more Grass Knot. T_T
