Power Of Dragons

Hello everyone! This is my first RMT. I have based this team on two dragons, one physical and one mixed. So here's the team:

Heatren@Leftovers
Nature:Calm
Trait:Flash fire
-Flame thrower
-Will-o-Wisp
-Stealth rock
-Roar
Evs:252 SDef/192 HP/64 Def
The main reason I put this Heatren on my team was to take those ice and dragon type attacks my beloved dragons fear the most. As he causes many switches, he gets enough opportunities to set-up rocks or roar the switch-in to cause more hazard damage. With Will-o-Wisp, he can cripple many of his counters and other physical attackers. I know it can't touch another heatren, but what are teammates for?Overall, he does his job well, setting up rocks and taking some hits.

Gliscor@toxic orb
Nature:Impish
Trait:Poison heal
-Knock off
-Ice fang
-Protect
-Earthquake
Evs:252 HP/184 Def/72 Spe
My main physical wall. He can easily counter opposing Breloom and many other physical pokemon who would otherwise be a threat to this team. He is also my status absorber and with knock off, he's a pain in the butt to face because no pokemon likes to lose it's item.

Haxorus@Life orb
Nature:Adament
Trait:Mold breaker
-Dragon dance
-Outrage
-Earth quake
-Taunt
Evs:252 Atk/96 SDef/160 Spe
My first of two dragon attackers. After a dragon dance and with the given Evs, he will outspeed almost all non-scarf pokemon and his attack will reach monstrous levels. The given special Defence evs allow him to switch into resisted attacks more easily. Earthquake is for steels and taunt is for shutting down pokemon trying to cripple me.

Hydreigon@Life orb
Nature:Mild
Trait:Levitate
-Draco meteor
-Flame thrower
-Super power
-Roost
Evs:4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
The wall-breaker.Hydreigon and Haxorus form a powerful offensive core that will devastate opposing teams if they're not prepared for this doom. Hydreigon will usually remove the obstacles in Haxorus's way for a clean sweep. I chose flame thrower instead of fire blast because I think the power drop isn't worth the lower accuracy in this case. Roost is there to increase his life on the battle field and also using it is easy because of the switches he causes. Totally an awesome pokemon.

Slowbro@Rocky helmet
Nature:Bold
Trait:Regenerator
-Psychic
-Surf
-Thunder wave
-Slack off
Evs:252 HP/252 Def/4 SAtk
My team is weak against fighting types and what pokemon better than Slowbro to wall them? With an amazing Defence and regenerator, he can even shrug off a banded U-turn and restore the lost HP later. Rocky helmet is to slowly wear down physical attackers and put them in KO range for my dragons. Psychic and surf are my attacking moves of choice because I think they're enough. Thunder wave is amazing on him to cripple his counters. I think leftovers are redundant with regenerator and slack off.

Tentacruel@Leftovers
Nature:Calm
Trait:Rain dish
-Scald
-Ice beam
-Rapid spin
-Hail
Evs:160 HP/32 SAtk/252 SDef/64 Spe
My spinner and the last member of my defensive core. He's my key to victory against weather teams after removing their weather starter; with hail. After a single hail their beloved weather will permanently fade unless it's hail(which is very uncommon). With the given Evs he will have maximized special bulk and abuse his resistances to water, ice and fire.
So this is my team and as you can see, it works around wearing down my opponent and then pulling a sweep with my dragons. Any feedback and suggestion is very appreciated. Thank you for reading :)
The biggest threat to this team is scarf Kyreum-B as it can potentially KO my every switch in if I mis-predict.

Anyways, Gliscor doesn't seem needed when you have Slowbro to wall physical attackers. If you want a status absorber, you can try Posion Heal Breloom instead. He can really mess up most of the things that wall your dragons. Go with Substitute/Leech Seed/Spore/Focus punch.

Yep,you're right. Its is the true one.
Gliscor is my main counter to breloom, salamance and volt-turn combo.Knock off is also invaluable on him.I can't see Breloom doing those jobs as he's so damn frail. But still thanks for the feedback.

I have a question. Now that Gliscor gets Roost, why is nobody that I see using it on him? With his Defense and Poison Heal, it seems that with Roost added to the mix, you can stall and annoy and wall opponents forever.

I wouldn't personally change any of the Pokemon in your team, as they all work well together and serve a purpose. I would like to know your answer to Dragon Dance and Banded Dragonite, though. I know you have Ice Fang on Gliscor, but with Multiscale, that just isn't enough.

Hi there, this is a nice team using one my personal favorites, Hydreigon :) Well onto the team. It seems very solid, covering all the bases. However, I have several edits to make that will make this team even greater. First of all, on your Haxorus, I recommend running Taunt over Aqua Tail. The reason behind this is that with Taunt, Haxorus can completely shut down any defensive pokemon trying to cripple you with status. Dragon + Fighting is already an extraordinary coverage combo, and Aqua Tail is honestly not that necessary. Since you aren't running Lum Berry, I think Taunt will help a lot. An example is Ferrothorn. You use Taunt while they try Leech Seeding. Now that they can't, they use Power Whip or switch out. Now you obtain a boost and you can sweep more easily.

Next thing is your Tentacruel. Hail seems like an interesting idea, shutting down opposing weather. However, since you are running Hail, Rain Dish is redundant because you will be changing the weather anyways. Thus, I recommend running Liquid Ooze > Rain Dish so Ferrothorn always loses to you, failing to get Leech Seed health back and getting damaged instead.

Now I notice this team lacks something necessary to all teams in OU: A Scarfer. Without this, your team can be run over by stuff pretty easily, and since you aren't running priority, a Volca set with HP Ground, Fire Blast, and Bug Buzz can rip you apart. To solve this problem, I see you have two physical walls: Gliscor and Slowbro. Looking at your team, Slowbro seems the most dispensible, since you already have another Water type in Tentacruel. Consequently, I recommend trying out Choice Scarf Keldeo. Scarf Keldeo resists Bullet Punch and outspeeds all other Scarfers, barring Terrakion and Latios. This addition allows you to clean up very well late game, and also deal with boosting threats. Overall, this is a very solid team, hope I helped, and good luck!

Keldeo @Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
-Hydro Pump
-Secret Sword
-Hidden Power Bug/Hidden Power Ice
-Icy Wind/Surf

tl;dr
Taunt > Aqua Tail
Liquid Ooze > Rain Dish
Scarf Keldeo > Slowbro

@Deadflame Roost works, but protect poison lets him survive enough to do his duties. Also if I want to use roost,I'll have to replace it with another important move.
For DD Dragonite,I simply switch to slowbro and paralyze him when he tries to setup.
For banded Dragonite,I switch to slow bro to take the first hit then switch to gliscor(regenerator heals slowbro when I switch)to take the second and then protect if there's a third.
Though this is the worst scenario.I'll will usually have stealth rock down and Dragonite can't switch to any of my pokemon freely without the risk of being crippled or damaged.
@Dcae Thanks for the advice. You're right, taunt works better as aqua tail's only usage was only for skarmory.
Actually, rain dish is great to help wall some pokemon in rain teams and I usually use hail in the end so it's nothing to worry about.Liquid ooze is good too,but I think rain dish is better.
You're right,I lack a good revenge killer, but replacing any of my team members will make a hole in my defensive core. For example if I remove slowbro, pokemon like landorus and mineshao will give me serious troubles if they carry hidden power ice(which they usually do).Conkeldurr can also easily set up and sweep.Slowbro is also there to spread paralysis with many switch-in opportunities he get.Actually my combination of knock off thunder wave will-o-wisp stealth rock is my way to deal with many threats or achieve victory.
And about volcarona,he may seem to sweep my whole team if he sets up,but actually he can't set up on any of my pokemon, even heatren can roar him out if he tires to set up.Don't forget stealth rock too,it's his best counter.Though admittedly Hp ground volcarona is very rare.Even if it makes my time harder,it's manageable.

I can't really put a revenge killer in my team without changing many other pokemon. Unless I change my haxorus to scarf Salamence or something. Is that really a good idea?
