Moves
========

Close Combat is Primeape's strongest and most reliable STAB move, hitting many Pokemon for neutral or super effective damage, such as Eelektross, Skuntank, and Regirock, at the cost of lowering its defenses by one stage each. Stone Edge hits Flying-type Pokemon that resist or are immune to Close Combat for super effective damage, such as Swanna and Oricorio-G. It is also Primeape's best way of dealing damage to Poison-type Pokemon such as Haunter and Weezing. U-turn is used to pick up momentum on forced switches and pivot Primeape out of foes that beat it such as Sableye, Weezing, and Mesprit. It also helps chip the latter two, which is important, as they have no reliable recovery. Encore annoys foes by locking them into undesirable status moves such as Stealth Rock, Toxic, and setup moves. Pokemon that may use such moves include Clefairy, Gastrodon, and Calm Mind Spiritomb. It has good synergy with U-turn as well, generating free turns. Gunk Shot provides coverage for the Fairy-types that tank Primeape's Close Combat, such as Clefairy and Silvally-Fairy, and it also hits Grass-types such as Alolan Exeggutor and Lilligant for more damage than Close Combat. Earthquake is an option that allows Primeape to do more damage to Skuntank while bypassing Aftermath, as well as chip Spiritomb more reliably than Stone Edge. It also hits Pokemon such as Regirock without suffering the drops of Close Combat. However, Primeape would much rather use Encore or Gunk Shot due to them being more useful overall, and Primeape can KO the former two Pokemon with some chip anyway.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack and Speed EVs make Primeape as offensively threatening as possible, and a Jolly nature allows it to outspeed foes such as Oricorio-G, Lilligant, and Timid Mesprit. Fist Plate allows Primeape to bluff a Choice item set while also boosting the power of its STAB move. Fightinium Z does the same but exchanges Fist Plate's consistent power boost for a one-time powerful All-Out Pummeling, doing more damage to foes such as Lurantis, as well as KOing certain foes such as Kingler and Gastrodon after a Close Combat and some chip. Defiant takes advantage of Defog when used by Pokemon such as Skuntank and Lurantis by receiving a +2 Attack boost from the evasion drop. It also boosts Primeape's Attack when its Speed is dropped by Sticky Web.

Usage Tips
========

This Primeape set is best used as an early-game wallbreaker. If Primeape has not yet revealed its lack of Choice Scarf, it is a good idea to send it in after something has fainted to bluff a Choice Scarf set and take advantage of the forced switch with U-turn. Switching Primeape out instead of switching moves helps bluff the Choice Scarf set as well. U-turn can also be used when Primeape threatens the foe with heavy damage. Intentionally using the incorrect attack against foes that often carry Protect such as Audino and Ferroseed is smart to lull the opponent into a false sense of security, as they will often stay in afterward believing Primeape is locked into a move. Try not to reveal Encore, use All-Out Pummeling, or switch moves too soon, as revealing the fact that Primeape is not using a Choice Scarf set removes a lot of its surprise factor and makes it less threatening against faster Pokemon. An appropriate time to do the aforementioned is when Primeape is able to KO, heavily damage, or Encore a foe attempting to take advantage of Primeape supposedly being locked into one move. Such Pokemon include Ferroseed, Oricorio-G, and Type: Null. All-Out Pummeling should be used to KO a foe that would otherwise be out of range of Primeape's other moves. It can also be used to take out foes if you cannot risk Stone Edge or Gunk Shot missing. After having locked a foe into an exploitable move via Encore, using U-turn or Close Combat is generally the best play, as Primeape can either bring a dangerous teammate in for free, pick up momentum as the foe switches out, or fire off a powerful attack with few to no repercussions. If it is known that an enemy Pokemon such as Weezing is carrying a Rocky Helmet, spamming U-turn is discouraged, as Primeape will end up being worn down very quickly. Instead, double switch into an ally such as Mesprit that can beat said foes. As Primeape is very frail, switching it in on even resisted hits is not recommended. Instead, get Primeape in via pivoting moves such as U-turn, double switching, or switching Primeape in on a predicted status move such as Stealth Rock. It can switch into predicted uses of Defog from Pokemon such as Skuntank but must be wary of said Pokemon predicting this and choosing to attack instead.

Team Options
========

Pokemon such as Aurorus, Haunter, and Oricorio-G are able to beat or force out Primeape's checks, such as Weezing and Sableye. In return, Primeape is able to beat their checks as well, specifically specially defensive Pokemon such as Eelektross and Regirock, and it provides them with U-turn and Encore support, giving them more opportunities to break or set up with moves such as Substitute in the case of the latter two. Oricorio-G can use these chances to set up Calm Mind as well. Primeape's ability to deter Defog with Defiant is appreciated by Pokemon that stack entry hazards, such as Shuckle, Smeargle, and Crustle. Primeape appreciates the chip damage these hazards give, which helps it exert more pressure in conjunction with U-turn. Sticky Web also allows Primeape to outspeed normally faster grounded foes such as Floatzel and Zebstrika while also not giving away its lack of Choice Scarf. Stoutland, Lilligant, and Pyroar are all Pokemon that appreciate Primeape being able to surprise Pokemon such as Ferroseed, Regirock, and Oricorio-G with its lack of Choice Scarf, as they will often switch in after Primeape has KOed a foe due to believing it is Choice locked and attempt to set up hazards or use Calm Mind. Other pivots such as Eelektross and Silvally-Water can create a VoltTurn core with Primeape, putting lots of pressure on the opposing team as well as helping to keep momentum. These Pokemon also help break down some of Primeape's checks, such as Sableye and Golurk. Eelektross also provides Knock Off support, removing the passive recovery of Pokemon such as Weezing, while Silvally-Water appreciates Primeape threatening its checks such as Audino and Lanturn. Choice Scarf users such as Swanna, Pyroar, and Togedemaru help both Primeape and its team keep faster foes in check, as Primeape is unable to fill the role of revenge killer with this set. Their presence also makes it easier for Primeape to bluff the Choice Scarf set. Teammates with multiple common sets outside of Choice Scarf such as Haunter also make it more difficult for the opponent to predict which Pokemon is holding a Choice Scarf.

  • Close Combat is a powerful STAB move, hitting many Pokemon for neutral or super effective damage, such as Eelektross, Skuntank, and Regirock, at the cost of lowering its defenses by one stage each.
  • Stone Edge hits Flying-type Pokemon that resist or are immune to Primeape's Fighting-type STAB for super effective damage, such as Swanna and Oricorio-G.(also its best neutral coverage for certain Ghosts like Haunter)
  • U-turn is used to pick up momentum on forced switches, as well as pivoting Primeape out of foes that beat it such as Weezing, Palossand, or Mesprit.(also does a decent amount of chip damage to things like Mesprit)
  • Encore annoys foes by locking them into undesirable status moves such as Stealth Rock, Toxic, or setup moves.(what uses these moves?)
  • Gunk Shot provides coverage for Fairy-types which tank its Close Combat, such as Clefairy and Silvally-Fairy. It also hits Grass-types such as Alolan Exeggutor and Lilligant for more damage than Close Combat.
  • Earthquake allows Primeape to do more damage to Skuntank and Magmortar, as well as chipping Spiritomb more reliably than Stone Edge. However, Primeape would much rather use Encore or Gunk Shot due to them being more useful overall, and Primeape can KO the former two Pokemon with some chip anyways.

  • Defiant takes advantage of Defog when used by Pokemon such as Skuntank and Lurantis.
Usage Tips
========
  • If Encore has not yet been used or Primeape has not yet revealed its lack of Choice Scarf, don't be afraid to stay in against faster Pokemon such as Floatzel, Archeops, or Swanna(Swanna can also run Scarf tho, so it doesn't always fear Primeape), as they will often switch out from the threat of Primeape's Choice Scarf set.
  • When Primeape threatens out the foe, either with the possibility of Choice Scarf set or with heavy damage, use U-turn to capitalize on the switch and gain momentum.
  • Try not to reveal Encore, All-Out Pummeling, or switch moves too soon, as revealing the fact that Primeape is not Choice Scarfed removes a lot of its surprise factor and its threat against faster Pokemon.
  • An appropriate time to do the aforementioned is when Primeape is able to KO, heavily damage, or Encore a foe attempting to take advantage of Primeape supposedly being locked into one move. Such Pokemon include Ferroseed, Oricorio-G, and Type: Null.(Go into more detail on when and what it is Encoring, and how it can lure Pokemon like Oricorio and Clefairy by "locking" into CC then KOing with coverage)
  • As Primeape is very frail, switching it in on even resisted hits is not recommended. Instead, get Primeape in via pivoting moves such as U-turn, double switching, or switching Primeape in on a predicted status move such as Stealth Rock.(Mention how it can switch into Defog too, but has to watch out for them instead just attacking)

  • Pokemon such as Aurorus, Haunter, and Oricorio-G are able to beat or force out Primeape's checks(examples?). In return, Primeape is able to beat their checks (examples?)as well, and provides them with U-turn support(also Encore), giving them more opportunities to break or set up with moves such as Substitute and Calm Mind.

  • Stoutland, Lilligant, and Pyroar are all Pokemon that appreciate Primeape being able to surprise Pokemon such as Ferroseed, Regirock, and Oricorio-G attempting to take advantage of its Choice Scarf set, aiding them in either sweeping or wallbreaking.
  • Other users of pivoting moves such as Volt Switch create a Voltturn core with Primeape, putting lots of pressure on the opposing team as well as helping to keep momentum. Such Pokemon include Eelektross and Mesprit. These Pokemon also help break down some of Primeape's checks.(examples?)(Eelektross also has Knock Off, and Mesprit has all its support moves)
Maybe also mention other Choice Scarf mons like Swanna, since Primeape is no longer able so fill that role.

  • Defiant takes advantage of Defog when used by Pokemon such as Skuntank and Lurantis. (how does it take advantage of defog?)
Usage Tips

  • If Encore has not yet been used or Primeape has not yet revealed its lack of Choice Scarf, don't be afraid to stay in against faster Pokemon such as Floatzel, Archeops, or non-Choice Scarf Swanna, as they will often switch out from the threat of Primeape's Choice Scarf set. (the wording on this point is a bit weird, but i understand what it means. change it to say like, 'if the fact that ape isn't running scarf hasn't been revealed, bring in ape after something faints to bluff the scarf set and take advantage of them being forced out by using u-turn.')
  • When Primeape threatens out the foe, either with the possibility of Choice Scarf set or with heavy damage, use U-turn to capitalize on the switch and gain momentum. (make these two bullets one, it reads a bit easier.)

  • Close Combat is a powerful STAB move (bit redundant. close combat is primeape's strongest and most reliable stab move would probably work better), hitting many Pokemon for neutral or super effective damage, such as Eelektross, Skuntank, and Regirock, at the cost of lowering its defenses by one stage each.
  • Stone Edge hits Flying-type Pokemon that resist or are immune to Primeape's Fighting-type STAB for super effective damage, such as Swanna and Oricorio-G. It is also Primeape's best way of dealing damage to certain Ghost-types such as Haunter. (also hits things like weezing)
  • U-turn is used to pick up momentum on forced switches, as well as pivoting Primeape out of foes that beat it such as Palossand, Weezing, and Mesprit. It also helps chip the latter two, which is important as they have no reliable recovery. (pairs very well with encore for generating free turns) (if weezing is rocky helmet, then you will not want to u-turn on it)
  • Encore annoys foes by locking them into undesirable status moves such as Stealth Rock, Toxic, or setup moves. Pokemon that may use such moves include Clefairy, Gastrodon, and Spiritomb. (if you're locking spiritomb into a status move, wont that move be will-o-wisp? and the target will be you? i'm really not sure on this point because why do you want them to be crippling you for free?)
  • Gunk Shot provides coverage for Fairy-types which tank its Close Combat, such as Clefairy and Silvally-Fairy. It also hits Grass-types such as Alolan Exeggutor and Lilligant for more damage than Close Combat.
  • Earthquake allows Primeape to do more damage to Skuntank and Magmortar, as well as chipping Spiritomb more reliably than Stone Edge (i'd pair magmortar with spiritomb here, because stone edge also does the same damage to that too). However, Primeape would much rather use Encore or Gunk Shot due to them being more useful overall, and Primeape can KO the former two Pokemon with some chip anyways. (though earthquake ignores the aftermath recoil from skuntank, unlike close combat) (you could also use earthquake against something like regirock and such if you don't want the drops from close combat, but know that you can ko them)
Set Details
========
  • Maximum Attack and Speed EVs make Primeape as offensively threatening as possible, and a Jolly nature allows it to outspeed foes such as Oricorio-Sensu (oricorio-g not sensu), Lilligant, and Timid Magmortar.
  • Fist Plate allows Primeape to bluff a Choice set while also boosting the power of its STAB move. Fightinium Z does the same, but exchanges Fist Plate's consistent power boost for a one-time powerful All-Out Pummeling, doing more damage to foes such as Kingler and Lurantis, as well as KOing certains foes such as Gurdurr and Gastrodon after a Close Combat and some chip. (gurdurr seems like a far stretch. kingler moving to the second part would make more sense, because it only requires stealth rock chip to be ohkoed)
  • Defiant takes advantage of Defog when used by Pokemon such as Skuntank and Lurantis by receiving a +2 Attack boost from the evasion drop. (also takes advantage of sticky web too)
Usage Tips
========
  • If Primeape has not yet revealed its lack of Choice Scarf, it's a good idea to send Primeape in after something has fainted to bluff the Choice Scarf set, and take advantage of the forced switch with U-turn. U-turn can also be used when Primeape threatens the foe with heavy damage. (if you're talking about bluffing, then not switching moves and instead switching could work)
  • Try not to reveal Encore, All-Out Pummeling, or switch moves too soon, as revealing the fact that Primeape is not Choice Scarfed removes a lot of its surprise factor and its threat against faster Pokemon. An appropriate time to do the aforementioned is when Primeape is able to KO, heavily damage, or Encore a foe attempting to take advantage of Primeape supposedly being locked into one move. Such Pokemon include Ferroseed, Oricorio-G, and Type: Null. (knock off should also take a mention here, because then they can even tell if it's z move or the support encore set) (also revealing that another pokemon is using choice scarf will mean the opponent will, most likely, eliminate this as being a choice scarf user)
  • As Primeape is very frail, switching it in on even resisted hits is not recommended. Instead, get Primeape in via pivoting moves such as U-turn, double switching, or switching Primeape in on a predicted status move such as Stealth Rock. It can switch into predicted Defogs from Pokemon such as Skuntank, but must be wary of said Pokemon predicting this and choosing to attack instead.
this is so so so barebones. it's essentially a lure set. yes you've talked about how not to reveal the set but not how to actually play this properly. expansion on encore, z move, revealing the set, etc.

Team Options
========
  • Pokemon such as Aurorus, Haunter, and Oricorio-Sensu (oricorio-g) are able to beat or force out Primeape's checks, such as Weezing and Palossand. In return, Primeape is able to beat their checks as well, including Pokemon such as Miltank and Regirock, and provides them with U-turn and Encore support, giving them more opportunities to break or set up with moves such as Substitute and Calm Mind, in the case of the latter two. (this kinda makes it seem like haunter is using a calm mind substitute set, which it isn't, so i'd rephrase)
  • Primeape's ability to deter Defog with Defiant is appreciated by Pokemon that stack hazards, such as Shuckle, Smeargle, and Crustle. Primeape appreciates the chip these hazards give, and helps it exert more pressure in conjunction with U-turn. Sticky Web also allows Primeape to outspeed normally faster grounded foes such as Floatzel and Zebstrika, while also not giving away its lack of Choice Scarf.
(how do they take advantage? ferroseed and regirock will often scout the choice sets with protect, and oricorio-g will switch in if close combat is revealed)
  • Other users of pivoting moves such as Volt Switch create a Voltturn core with Primeape (not restricted to just volt switch of course though), putting lots of pressure on the opposing team as well as helping to keep momentum. Such Pokemon include Eelektross and Mesprit. These Pokemon also help break down some of Primeape's checks, such as Sableye and Golurk (wait whut? okay yeah eel i can see messing up sableye and golurk a decent amount of the time, but mesprit struggles very hard against both). Eelektross also provides Knock Off support, removing the passive recovery of Pokemon such as Weezing, while Mesprit can set up Stealth Rock, which Primeape appreciates, as well as Healing Wish to restore Primeape's HP, allowing it to continue to wallbreak when it becomes weakened.
  • Choice Scarf users provide speed control for both Primeape and its team, as Primeape is unable to fill the rock of revenge killer with this set. Examples include Swanna, Pyroar, and Togedemaru. Their presence also makes it easier for Primeape to bluff the Choice Scarf set. (expand this a bit, explain that choice scarf users with multiple sets beside choice scarf are appreciated, as it makes both primeape and the choice scarf user harder to predict at first glance)
This looks okay, but Usage Tips is super barebones and needs real expansion please. I'll check again once you've implemented this.

This has been written up.

I'm a bit concerned because the Usage Tips and Team Options section are looking a bit bloated, at least compared to other analyses. If there are any comments (if it's alright, or needs trimming down, etc.) on that I would appreciate them.

Close Combat is Primeape's strongest and most reliable STAB move, hitting many Pokemon for neutral or super effective damage, such as Eelektross, Skuntank, and Regirock, at the cost of lowering its defenses by one stage each. Stone Edge hits Flying-type Pokemon that resist or are immune to Primeape's Fighting-type STAB for super effective damage, such as Swanna and Oricorio-G. It is also Primeape's best way of dealing damage to Poison-type Pokemon such as Haunter and Weezing. U-turn is used to pick up momentum on forced switches, as well as pivoting Primeape out of foes that beat it such as Sableye, Weezing, and Mesprit. It also helps chip the latter two, which is important as they have no reliable recovery. It has good synergy with Encore as well, generating free turns. It also hits Grass-types such as Alolan Exeggutor and Lilligant for more damage than Close Combat. Earthquake allows Primeape to do more damage to Skuntank while bypassing Aftermath, as well as chipping Spiritomb and drop the mag mention just to be safe Magmortar more reliably than Stone Edge. It also hits Pokemon such as Regirock without suffering the drops of Close Combat. However, Primeape would much rather use Encore or Gunk Shot due to them being more useful overall, and Primeape can KO the former two Pokemon with some chip anyways.

Set Details

Maximum Attack and Speed EVs make Primeape as offensively threatening as possible, and a Jolly nature allows it to outspeed foes such as Oricorio-G, Lilligant, and same here Timid Magmortar. Fist Plate allows Primeape to bluff a Choice set while also boosting the power of its STAB move. Fightinium Z does the same, but exchanges Fist Plate's consistent power boost for a one-time powerful All-Out Pummeling, doing more damage to foes such as Lurantis, as well as KOing certains foes such as Kingler and Gastrodon after a Close Combat and some chip. Defiant takes advantage of Defog when used by Pokemon such as Skuntank and Lurantis by receiving a +2 Attack boost from the evasion drop. It also boosts Primeape's Attack when its Speed is dropped by Sticky Web.

Usage Tips
======== im not recommending removing points because it's too long because that itself isn't an issue, but it is long and the points I want to remove aren't terribly good anyway. it's easier to take them out because it doesn't then make the analysis too short

This Primeape set is best used as an early-game wallbreaker, or potentially as a cleaner once faster foes have been KOed yeah idk 95 speed really isn't cleaning speed. If Primeape has not yet revealed its lack of Choice Scarf, it is a good idea to send Primeape in after something has fainted to bluff the Choice Scarf set, and take advantage of the forced switch with U-turn. Switching Primeape out instead of switching moves also helps bluff the Choice Scarf set as well. U-turn can also be used when Primeape threatens the foe with heavy damage. Intentionnally using the incorrect attack against foes that often carry Protect such as Audino and Ferroseed is smart to lull the opponent into a false sense of security, as they will often stay in afterwards believing Primeape is locked into a move. Try not to reveal Encore, All-Out Pummeling, or switch moves too soon, as revealing the fact that Primeape is not Choice Scarfed removes a lot of its surprise factor and its threat against faster Pokemon. An appropriate time to do the aforementioned is when Primeape is able to KO, heavily damage, or Encore a foe attempting to take advantage of Primeape supposedly being locked into one move. Such Pokemon include Ferroseed, Oricorio-G, and Type: Null. All-Out Pummeling specifically should be used to KO a foe that would otherwise be out of range of Primeape's other moves. It can also be used to take out foes if you cannot risk Stone Edge or Gunk Shot missing. this following point is definitely delete-able, it's fairly obvious that it doesnt like faster mons As Primeape will often be revenge killed after revealing that it is not holding a Choice Scarf, removing faster foes allows Primeape to wreck more havoc on the opposing team. same here for deletion, u already said avoid revealing ape isn't choiced and it can absorb knocks kinda well Switching into Knock Off is unadvisable as it can either give away Primeape's Fightinium Z or its possible Encore. this one too, it's a usage tip about other mons so eh Revealing another teammate as a Choice Scarf user may also cause the opponent to eliminate Primeape as a Choice Scarf user itself. After having locked a foe into an exploitable move via Encore, using U-turn is generally the best play this is a big generalization, I find you often want to just dent something with that fist plate CC, spamming a strong move with no repercussions is pretty good in my book. just don't agree with this point at all, as Primeape can either bring in a dangerous teammate in for free, or pick up momentum as the foe switches out. If it is known that an enemy Pokemon such as Weezing is carrying a Rocky Helmet, spamming U-turn is discouraged as Primeape will end up being worn down very quickly. It can switch into predicted Defogs from Pokemon such as Skuntank, but must be wary of said Pokemon predicting this and choosing to attack instead.

Team Options
======== case in point, u found this long but im adding more stuff rather than removing

Pokemon such as Aurorus, Haunter, and Oricorio-G are able to beat or force out Primeape's checks, such as Weezing and Sableye. In return, Primeape is able to beat their checks as well specifically many specially bulky mons, including Pokemon such as Eelektross and Regirock, and provides them with U-turn and Encore support, giving them more opportunities to break or set up with moves such as Substitute in the case of the latter two. Oricorio-G can also use these chances to set up Calm Mind as well. Primeape's ability to deter Defog with Defiant is appreciated by Pokemon that stack hazards, such as Shuckle, Smeargle, and Crustle. Primeape appreciates the chip these hazards give, and helps it exert more pressure in conjunction with U-turn. Sticky Web also allows Primeape to outspeed normally faster grounded foes such as Floatzel and Zebstrika, while also not giving away its lack of Choice Scarf. Stoutland, Lilligant, and Pyroar are all Pokemon that appreciate Primeape being able to surprise Pokemon such as Ferroseed, Regirock, and Oricorio-G with its lack of Choice Scarf, as they will often switch in after Primeape has KOed a foe due to believing it is Choice locked and attempt to set up hazards or Calm Mind. Other users of pivoting moves such as Volt Switch create a Voltturn core with Primeape, putting lots of pressure on the opposing team as well as helping to keep momentum. Such Pokemon include Eelektross and Silvally-Water. These Pokemon also help break down some of Primeape's checks, such as Sableye and Golurk. Eelektross also provides Knock Off support, removing the passive recovery of Pokemon such as Weezing, while Silvally-Water appreciates Primeape breaking down in this case it threatens these mons, it doesn't break them. those are 2 different concepts. like SD kingler breaks down gastrodon, but will merely threaten a golem if that difference is clear its checks such as Audino and Lanturn. Choice Scarf users provide speed control for both Primeape and its team, as Primeape is unable to fill the role of revenge killer with this set. Examples include Swanna, Pyroar, and Togedemaru. Their presence also makes it easier for Primeape to bluff the Choice Scarf set. Teammates with multiple common sets outside of Choice Scarf such as Haunter also make it more difficult for the opponent to predict which Pokemon is holding a Choice Scarf.

U-turn is used to pick up momentum on forced switches, as well as (same verb tense as "pick up")pivoting pivot Primeape out of foes that beat it such as Sableye, Weezing, and Mesprit. It also helps chip the latter two, which is important as they have no reliable recovery. It U-turn has good synergy with Encore as well, generating free turns. Encore annoys foes by locking them into undesirable status moves such as Stealth Rock, Toxic, or setup moves. Pokemon that may use such moves include Clefairy, Gastrodon, and Calm Mind Spiritomb. Gunk Shot provides coverage for Fairy-types which tank its Close Combat, such as Clefairy and Silvally-Fairy. It also hits Grass-types such as Alolan Exeggutor and Lilligant for more damage than Close Combat. Earthquake allows Primeape to do more damage to Skuntank while bypassing Aftermath, as well as chipping Spiritomb more reliably than Stone Edge. It also hits Pokemon such as Regirock without suffering the drops of Close Combat. However, Primeape would much rather use Encore or Gunk Shot due to them being more useful overall, and Primeape can KO the former two Pokemon with some chip anyways.

Set Details

Maximum Attack and Speed EVs make Primeape as offensively threatening as possible, and a Jolly nature allows it to outspeed foes such as Oricorio-G, Lilligant, and Timid Mesprit. Fist Plate allows Primeape to bluff a Choice set while also boosting the power of its STAB move. Fightinium Z does the same, but exchanges Fist Plate's consistent power boost for a one-time powerful All-Out Pummeling, doing more damage to foes such as Lurantis, as well as KOing certains certain foes such as Kingler and Gastrodon after a Close Combat and some chip. Defiant takes advantage of Defog when used by Pokemon such as Skuntank and Lurantis by receiving a +2 Attack boost from the evasion drop. It also boosts Primeape's Attack when its Speed is dropped by Sticky Web.

Usage Tips
========

This Primeape set is best used as an early-game wallbreaker. Intentionnally Intentionally using the incorrect attack against foes that often carry Protect such as Audino and Ferroseed is smart to lull the opponent into a false sense of security, as they will often stay in afterwards afterward believing Primeape is locked into a move. After having locked a foe into an exploitable move via Encore, using U-turn or Close Combat is generally the best play, as Primeape can either bring in a dangerous teammate in for free, pick up momentum as the foe switches out, or fire off a powerful attack with little to no repercussions. If it is known that an enemy Pokemon such as Weezing is carrying a Rocky Helmet, spamming U-turn is discouraged as Primeape will end up being worn down very quickly. Instead, double switch into an ally such as Mesprit that can beat said foes. As Primeape is very frail, switching it in on even resisted hits is not recommended. Everything else was fine, just those two that I wasn't certain of. If an official GP member could confirm or correct me on this when making a check, I would appreciate it, thanks!

Thought it might be worth pointing out that there are probably mentions of a non-choiced set, Encore, etc. in the current analysis which would have to be removed upon uploading this.
