Muuuuch better than the picks made on SmackDown. Some actual big roster swaps and fun NXT call-ups. Thoughts on the new rosters?

We now know it will be Lyra Valkyria vs Nia Jax in the finals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
We also now know that it will be Gunther vs Randy Orton in the finals of the King of the Ring Tournament.

Who would you like to see win the tours?

I wanted IYO to win QOTR but now I guess I'll go with Lyra as the next best choice. For KOTR, I'd prefer Gunther but they can't go wrong with Randy either.

welp
Gunther & Nia
won King and Queen of the Ring respectively. Thought the PLE was mostly great but I didn't care much for the main event.

Marigold decided to go all out for their 2nd big show by getting IYO SKY loaned to them for one night only to face Utami Hayashishita in a dream match Utami has always wanted.
The fact Rossy was actually able to pull this off is so crazy, Maybe they can get Kairi for one match too.

I am soooo incredibly hyped for this match, it's gonna be INSANE.

the "Wyatt 6" (be it Alexa or if they do the talk of "the 6th is Bray's spirit with us [honestly like that more but think it's Alexa]" debut was great.
made me smile when it was clearly Erick Rowan there and he shows the "HELP" on the hammer as the homage to Brodie Lee/Luke Harper Wyatt Family/ and more directly Bludgeon Brother days..
All looked great - incredible intro. But that (and yes Nikki looked incredible as the witch, all did tbh) really made me smile even though it was such a dark pitch of their angle.
Loved it regardless.

Forbidden Door was a pretty fun show but I don't think it lived up to the insane hype that I and many others had for it.

Swerve vs Ospreay was absolutely incredible though. The Stardom girls showed up and showed out too.

was watching Dennis Knight (aka Phineas Godwinn/Mideon) on Undertaker's Six Feet Under and i think it might be his best episode yet. So many hilarious moments and you can see Taker like "....Here we go again, just take the ride brother" to his cohost lmaooo.

edit: As i watched this all i thought was Taker being like "Yeah I'm hearing from WWE soon." lol

Who do you guys wanna see win Money in the Bank?

I think all could have a fun story if they won but personally I'd like LA Knight or Chad Gable - would also say Drew but I think one of the spots will be Punk costing Drew, but could def see him winning if the booking wanted to make their feud linger anytime Drew tries to cash in lol.
I think this is a "Get Carmelo Hayes over with his showing out," I wouldn't be shocked if Jey Uso is a darkhorse but wont lie... Jey don't really need it (and 1) it dont make much sense unless you want a Gunther feud cus tbf 2) it's Gunther's time soon lol), he's already over. Andrade is super talented but there's no real backstory there beyond just being a talented guy.
tbh if the whole Wyatt Sicks is on Chad Gable's behind rn I think he'd be the most interesting - but LA Knight is probably the one who needs that win most - just pretend WWE never made it more acknowledgeable now to challenge for midcard titles (aka dont use it on Logan for the US title find a spot for a main strap lol)

" would also say Drew but I think one of the spots will be Punk costing Drew "

Well you were right in a way lol

I'm actually quite surprised nobody intervened in the MITB match itself - so many of them had outside feuds that could've led to shenanigans but they played it straight.

Sad that the men's briefcase got wasted though.

Also, the women's MITB match was awesome.

NXT Heatwave was surprisingly better than MITB imo despite a lackluster card on paper. The talent went all out and put on a fantastic show. Though I still feel that the Women's MITB was the best match of the weekend - NXT's show was just more consistently strong than MITB as a whole.

Marigold's big show Summer Destiny was a whole lot of fun. Some great matches and great moments.

The two big matches of Utami/IYO and Giulia/Sareee delivered big time while Miku Aono had a star making perfomance against MIRAI and BOZILLA.

An exciting future for Joshi wrestling is on the horizon and I'm quite interested to see where they go next.

MJF and Will Ospreay put on a banger almost 60 minute long match on Dynamite last night and somehow I probably wouldn't even consider it a top 3 Ospreay AEW match. Dude is just operating on an untouchable level right now. MJF was kinda able to keep up, though the match had clear stalling to pad the runtime and probably give MJF some needed breathers. The final stretch was incredible and had a very nice shock finish too. Tony Khan is crazy for putting that on free TV but I guess he has to go all out to get the best possible new TV deal negotiated.

Roman Reigns is back! Also Gunther is now World Champ and Logan Paul's reign of terror as US champ is finally over. Overall, a pretty enjoyable SummerSlam.

im a big Gunther fan, I don't think he needs a IC-title run esque type run with the World Heavyweight Title but i am excited to see his run as champ.

It would be cool to see Gunther Break another record.

How was RAW, guys?

i could see him getting to Mania for sure, maybe more cus rn the "main threats" in sense of reality (Drew, Seth, Punk) are all entangled together lol so time will play out his reign, but seems everyone in WWE and adjacent souls (Undertaker for example said Gunther was his guy i believe).
Orton (a childhood fav) will be Gunther's first "staple win" as a "solidified champion" since that's his whole thing. and it's great (he's a fav for a reason) lol
