this feels flippant but i went to barcelona and had a negative reaction to gaudís architecture, including the sagrada familia. i'm a big fan of non-contemporary european architecture, especially cathedrals - st stephen's basilica in budapest and helsinki cathedral deserving special mention - but going inside the sagrada familia felt like oppressively gloomy and sterile. anyway that's my beef with a historical figure, hope you enjoyed reading it on a forum thread about something
