A distant memory
Basically propose changes to Move Combo Types here and then the mods will review it eventually, either approving the proposal or rejecting the proposal. The mods may or may not give justification for their decision.
Please follow the following template:
Set > Force > Elemental > Passive > Deferring > None
Those with CT: None are banned from being used as part of combinations.
Determination for Combination Typing: CT > BAP (Higher applies) > STAB > Typeless
Other Rules
Please follow the following template:
An example with the template:Move: <Move Name>
Current CT: <Current CT>
Proposed CT: <Proposed CT>
Reasoning: <Give your reasoning here. Please consider the competitive implications of this change in your reasoning as well.>
Current CT HierarchyMove: Iron Tail
Current CT: Passive
Proposed CT: Elemental
Reasoning: Allows Iron Tail to be more combo-friendly, making Giga Impact + Iron Tail a Steel-type move among other current Passive CT's that would see Iron Tail's type overriden.
Set > Force > Elemental > Passive > Deferring > None
Those with CT: None are banned from being used as part of combinations.
Determination for Combination Typing: CT > BAP (Higher applies) > STAB > Typeless
Other Rules
- You can argue over a proposed change but do not let it derail the thread or drown out other proposed changes.
- As mentioned in the template, please consider the competitive implications of your proposed change or your proposal is likely to be rejected. We do not change things for the sake of changing things
- Mod team's ruling on CT changes are final and you may not object to decisions made at all.
- By the same vein, you may not propose a change to a move's CT until at least two week have passed since the mods last decided the CT status of the move in question.
- Any posts with the intention to troll or are as a result of "salt" will be deleted and infracted (and the change will be automatically declined) without question. We know the difference. This is NOT a salt thread. You have been warned.
- For example, proposing a change to a move because their opponent in a current match used that move as part of a combination to ruin their chances of winning is a very obvious example of salt.
- Note that this rule is subjective and not all proposals like the above example will be subject to it. If the above happens and the reasoning is through sound logic as opposed to personal agenda, then it will most likely not be moderated. We know the difference.
- Other general rules apply, so no flaming etc.
