Pseudo Dittoffensive

Here's a team i've made for the UU. I had some fun with this team and allowed me to get a decent score of 1646 for now. But i do believe i could definitively make my team better. Also we could say that this team is a Hyper Offense team, since aside from Porygon-2's bulk and Meloetta's Special bulk, my team is pretty frail.

Bold mean changes

Crobat @ Black Sludge
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Taunt
- Roost

Crobat is cool, Crobat is fast and Crobat allow me to taunt annoying stuff such as Umbreon so it allow me to stay stealth rock/ status free as much as i can. Sleep talk is for the case of an incoming sleep-inducing move.
I prefer Adamant over Jolly nature because i do believe the gained power is more important than the speed.

Mienshao (F) @ Flying Gem
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Swords Dance/(Stone Edge?)
- Hi Jump Kick
- U-turn

Two words for mienshao : Mind Game.

I'm running rather effectively this set for being able to cover as much stuff as possible, especially to be able if only, to hit ghosts without having the pretty heavy recoil of the missing Hi Jump Kick, or to kill as quickly as possible pokemons such as Zapdos. I'm running Flying Gem so i can run a second powerful flying attack to hit pokemons such as Heracross more effectively or at least neutraly on some of the ghosts of the UU tier.

233.gif

Canard2 (Porygon2) @ Eviolite
Trait: Analytic
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 31 Spd
- Discharge
- Ice Beam
- Tri Attack
- Recover

Here come one bulky offensive duck. I'm running Analytic over Download for the less randomized bonus that it offer compared to Download (as it depend from a pokemon to another). 0 Atk IV is pretty obvious as it help against Umbreon's Foul Play.

555.gif

Darmanitan @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Rock Slide
- Superpower
- U-turn

Darmanitan is a veritable powerhouse that can put holes in enemies' teams thank to his ridiculously high atk but is cursed with a pretty frail bulk and a slightly too low base speed, so, in order to abuse it, i gave it a choice scarf so it can pretty much out-speed the whole tier, aside from faster pokemons with choice scarf. As a useful niche, it can also outspeed choice scarfed Chandelure, which can be pretty annoying overwise.

143.gif

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 144 HP / 188 Def / 176 SDef
Careful Nature
- Rest
- Crunch
- Body Slam
- Fire Punch

Snorlax is a bulky pokemon that could cover the main weakness of my team being the lack of a bulky pokemon to switch around as Meloettacan only switch into Special Move while Canard2 isn't a miracle solution as said genXXZ. Fire Punch is for coverage, especially Ferroseed which wall pretty much my team otherwise.

229f.gif

Houndoom @ Life Orb
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Modest/(Timid?) Nature
- Fire Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power Grass

Althrough Houndoom doesn't have the sheer power of darmanitan nor the speed of a choice scarfed mon, his dual STAB coupled a well placed Nasty Plot can pretty much destroy any mon that isn't faster.
Hidden Power Grass is obviously certains mon such as Blastoise or Milotic.
Timid might be able to outspeed some more pokemon although it might be not worth the SpA loss.

648.gif

Meloetta-Pirouette (Meloetta) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Calm Mind /(Energy Ball?)
- Signal Beam/(U-turn?)

Meloetta is another powerhouse on the special side and give useful coverage overall in the UU tier and have the possibility to switch into special move such as scald which is valuable especially if canard2 since my team is overall pretty frail bulky wise. The choice specs give me more raw power to destroy some annoying pokemons, althrough locking into one move can be dangerous as im not sure if i should run life orb weaker with a recoil, choice scarf to outspeed some pokemons such as zapdos but lock, or the choice specs which also lock

132.gif

Dittoni (Ditto) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Imposter
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
IVs: 30 Def / 30 SDef / 30 Spd
- Transform

Dittoni is the bread and butter's team in my mind since it does cover some of the weakness, mainly by being able to transform into some of the dangerous/annoying pokemon that the opponent can carry use such as speed boosting mon or being able to revenge kill, or even sweep sometimes with the help of the choice scarf.Another quality is that i can also scout certain mon or switch into a certain move. Althought, ditto is far from being perfect and some pokemons can be running poorly adapted set for a scarf user which can make ditto sometimes hard to play.

IV are for hidden power rock since a copied HP depend on Dittoni's IV and not the enemy's ones. As for rock instead of ground, it hit effectively Zapdos with HP while being still able to hit Chandelure.
Otherwise, it's pretty much a niche.

Threat List

609.gif

Chandelure

...yes Chandelure, most the chandelure i was were choice scarfed and gave me trouble most of the time thank to their high SpA

Meloetta can switch freely into a shadow ball but won't like a fire blast, expecially if i misspredict a switch into the flare blitz of my choice scarfed darmanitan.

Crobat will take heavy damage from anything bar certain HP, can't outspeed the choice scarfed versions and can't OHKO without the flying gem

Darmanitan will cripple it with rock slide but will be walled otherwise

Mienshao can do some damage with acrobatics/Stone Edge but if choice scarfed she can't do much as she will probably die in one hit

Canard2 will take well a shadow ball but won't like a fire blast and the only useable use is discharge which can be a problem sometimes.

Ditto is have no trouble with chandelure if it doesn't switch and if it's not scarfed as shadow ball pretty much OHKO it, but the coverage move it may be running can be problematic and might force a unwanted switch-out.

143.gif

Snorlax

Aside from Hi Jump Kick, i can't really do much to Snorlax thank to his bulk and potential rest and can cripplle my team thank to the hax-full body slam. The curse version is even worst if i can't stop it sicne even ditto can't scratch it enough to outheal rest.

437.gif

Bronzong

Aside from flare blitz, nothing can really cripple bronzong which can rougly do what it want. Crobat can taunt but will be 2HKO by gyro ball (rougly 60%) and can't do much aside from u-turning out.
Ditto is obviously useless thank to bronzong general movesets.

207.gif

Gligar

Same as Bronzong except it only for Crobat, Mienshao, Darmanitan and Ditto only as they can hardly damage it and can roost off the damage.
Again Crobat can taunt but can't do any noticable damage.

Canard2 and Meloetta can do significant damage with the the right move at least.

302.gif

Sableye

Prankster pretty much annoy my team highly thank to the complete absence of priority. My best bet is full-out offensive or taunt with ditto to force a switch if he does run it.

197.gif

Umbreon

It's bulky and his typing make it difficult to take down thank to heal bell/wish. Mienshao can OHKO with Hi Jump Kick but only if not using Protect

There might be some others but thoses are the mains i've noticed.

I really like this team and i could really benefit from some help in order to improve it and for that, i am hoping that i will have some contructive critism on my team.

First of all, run the standard StallBreaker Brobat. i don't see why you need 2 Flying Gem users, and Crobat can beat most Stall teams by himself.
As for Darmanitan, I would put RestTalk Snorlax in that spot, as Chandelure is dealt with by Ditto Anyways. Your team doesn't have anything that can continually take hits, and Snorlax can do that with a Bulky Curse set.

Alright couple of comments:
-If you really want the flying gem on crobat, acrobatics is a better stab option as it doesn't deal recoil damage
-Sleep talk on this set can be a million more useful things like cross poison, roost, toxic, etc.
-I would suggest putting swords dance on mienshao if you're gonna run that set.
-Don't give porygon 0 speed IVs. It is far from the slowest guy in the tier and it won't even be slower than most trick room pokes anyway. Thus you're really only shooting yourself in the foot by making it slower than rhperior, azumarill, machamp, registeel, etc.
-If you're having problems with chandelure, give porygon trace.
-Superpower >>>>>>> Zen headbutt. This also helps you with snorlax and umbreon.
-I suggest making darm jolly to guarantee to outspeed scrafed things like krookodile, porygon-Z and heracross
-What kind of nickname is that on meloetta?
-I'd replace energy ball or signal beam with u-turn which will help you get momentum which an offensive team like this can really appreciate.
-Threat* List not Thread List

Hi! I notice you have some pretty common UU Pokemon listed as your main threats. You really need to get these guys checked, so I'll give you some advice.

Basing off your counters, your team seems to be pretty susceptible to stall teams in general. You have a lot of Offensive Pokemon and a lot of them are easily countered by a wall of some sort, including a large portion of your counter list. This is why you should try fitting your team up with More Set-Up sweepers and less choice users. A choice Pokemon is always great, and important, but the combination of locking yourself into a move and only being able to boost to +2 is killing you. Most of your counters can be set up on pretty easily, such as Bronzong, Umbreon, and Gligar. Try Calm Mind Meloetta and switch Darmanitan to something like Nasty Plot Houndoom or something else that can cover what Darmanitan counters.

Your team lacks an effective way to take damage. You gotta fit a wall or standard Defensive Pokemon somewhere; Porygon2 is great but it isn't a miracle worker. What Pokemon you pick to put in/replace is up to you. I second Bobby's recommendation for Snorlax, which can run Curse or a Band set if you want.

Yeah Prankster Sableye is annoying but the best way to deal with it is just to hit it, and hit it hard, something you seem capable of doing.

Thank you for all the answers.

I have edited my team to show the changes i've made and will try Snorlax and Houndoom on Darmanitan when i have the time to.
