Bronzor @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Psywave
- Toxic
- Rest

Bronzor is at least a check but it can work as a counter-ish depending on the Oricorio Pom Pom's set. It can switch in when Ori is just CM and click freely Psywave expecting Oricorio to go on Taunt or Substitute (to avoid get Toxicd). However, if the opponent realise it the best that it can do is just double-switch or just going for Revelation Dance to deal some damage to Bronzor and pushing it to Rest at some moment.

+1 0 SpA Oricorio-Pom-Pom Revelation Dance vs. 252 HP / 112 SpD Eviolite Bronzor: 96-114 (30.1 - 35.8%) -- 33.5% chance to 3HKO

Eelektross @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Giga Drain
- Flamethrower
- Acid Spray

To keep it simple, Calm Mind Oricorio-Pom Pom can technically beat standard Eelektross, but with Acid Spray, Eelektross can lower Pom-Pom's Special Defense faster than it can set up and 1v1 it while Pom-Pom does little back.

Scarf Aurorus is a counter, or at least a hard check to Silvally-Dragon. It can easily switch into any of its moves comfortably if it has to switch in. It then can outnyoomspeed and kill Silvally-Dragon. The only time Aurorus is at any risk of fainting is when there are 3 spikes and stealth rock up on its side, but even then, its not a guaranteed KO.

252 SpA Aurorus Blizzard vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Silvally-Dragon: 308-366 (93 - 110.5%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after hail damage
252 SpA Aurorus Blizzard vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Silvally-Dragon: 308-366 (93 - 110.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and hail damage
252 SpA Silvally-Dragon Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Aurorus: 183-216 (47.2 - 55.8%) -- 76.6% chance to 2HKO
252 SpA Silvally-Dragon Flamethrower vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Aurorus: 85-100 (21.9 - 25.8%) -- 3.6% chance to 4HKO
252 SpA Silvally-Dragon Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Aurorus: 183-216 (47.2 - 55.8%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and 3 layers of Spikes

Lanturn @ Assault Vest
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 172 SpA / 136 SpD / 200 Spe
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Grass

AV Lanturn is a fantastic counter to Dragonvally. Lanturn, running AV and 136 SpDef, is able to tank all of Dragonvally's hits (including 5 Draco Meteors and over 13 Flamethrowers lol) and hit back extremely hard with Ice Beam 2HKOing Dragonvally before it even gets the chance to Parting Shot away. After the Dragonvally faints, Lanturn can simply pivot out on it as if nothing had even happened.

252 SpA Silvally-Dragon Draco Meteor over 5 turns vs. 0 HP / 136 SpD Assault Vest Lanturn: 286-340 (73.1 - 86.9%) -- not a KO
252 SpA Silvally-Dragon Flamethrower vs. 0 HP / 136 SpD Assault Vest Lanturn: 28-33 (7.1 - 8.4%) -- possibly the worst move ever
172+ SpA Lanturn Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Silvally-Dragon: 146-172 (44.1 - 51.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Banned deucer.
Reserving Mr Mime

162343

Mr. Mime @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Dazzling Gleam
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock

Due to its really good SpDef and the secondary typing in Fairy Mr. Mime is able to come in on Dragonvally at least 3 times. Due to its Immunity to Draco Meteor and the small dmg output from Flamethrower Mr. Mime can even use it as setup fodder.
Mr. Mimes ability in Soundproof allows it to keep its boost, since Soundproof prevents Parting Shot from working at all.
Due to all these factor Mr. Mime is a Check to Dragonvally.

Calcs:
252 SpA Mr. Mime Dazzling Gleam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Silvally-Dragon: 228-270 (68.8 - 81.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Mr. Mime Dazzling Gleam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Silvally-Dragon: 456-536 (137.7 - 161.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Mr. Mime All-Out Pummeling (190 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Silvally-Dragon: 358-422 (108.1 - 127.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Silvally-Dragon Flamethrower vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mr. Mime: 68-80 (30.7 - 36.1%) -- 51.9% chance to 3HKO
252 SpA Silvally-Dragon Flamethrower vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mr. Mime: 68-80 (30.7 - 36.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Alright everyone, disregard the Silvally Dragon post. I am revamping the thread. Most of you may have noticed that some of the checks and counters listed for particular Pokemon in the archives are outdated, not here anymore and won't be coming back. Not to mention this thread is just nothing but endless weeks of "here's mon X, what beats it?" and then nothing happens. Well, I'm implementing a do-over for the thread and starting anew so that newer players can find more of an incentive to post here. I'm going to take a page from PTF and his thread and do a 10-week process where points are awarded and will mean something. For the top vote-getter after those 10 weeks, you will be crowned the Top Assassin since this thread is all about beating a certain Pokemon that I post. Since there is 2 categories (check and counter), the top vote getter for that particular category that week will get 2 points and any 2nd place people get 1 point. If more than 1 person ties for 1st place that week, they both get 2 points. So, it turns out I did this at a rather convenient time since the Viability Rankings just got updated. Alright guys and gals, since this is a do-over, let's get this underway.....

One last thing: Please follow the rules on page 1! If you do reserve a Pokemon, your post must be done within 24 hours of you reserving it. No Bronzor posts EVER. They will be deleted.

Week 1

Lilligant @ Grassium Z / Normalium Z / Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain / Energy Ball
- Hidden Power Rock / Hyper Beam / Hidden Power Fire

Drampa @ Choice Specs
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 136 HP / 252 SpA / 120 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Hyper Voice
- Focus Blast
- Fire Blast

Drampa functions as one of the most reliable checks to Lilligant, thanks to its ability Sap Sipper as well as having a decent Sp. Def stat and being able to function as one of the most hard hitting wallbreakers in the tier.
252+ SpA Choice Specs Drampa Fire Blast vs. +1 0 HP / 0 SpD Lilligant: 344-406 (122.4 - 144.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Drampa Draco Meteor vs. +1 0 HP / 0 SpD Lilligant: 304-358 (108.1 - 127.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252 SpA Lilligant Breakneck Blitz (200 BP) vs. 136 HP / 0 SpD Drampa: 314-370 (94.8 - 111.7%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
+1 252 SpA Lilligant Hyper Beam vs. 136 HP / 0 SpD Drampa: 236-278 (71.2 - 83.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

As shown by these calcs, Drampa is able to switch in on non Z variants and is actually able to take a two Hyper Beams. In return, Drampa is able to OHKO Lilligant at +1 with Fire Blast and Draco Meteor. Drampa functions as a great check by virtue of walling its non Z-Hyper Beam sets and being able to revenge kill Lilligant at +1 after it has used its Breakneck Blitz, notably KOing it with Fire Blast even after a defense boost. Thank you for reading.

Oricorio-Sensu @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Dancer
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Revelation Dance
- Hurricane
- Substitute / Roost

Oricorio-G takes 0 from Lilligant's attack, only fearing the rare hp ice. It has dancer, which means it can copy lilligant's quiver dances and also use it as a setup fodder thanks to its typing. A counter

reserving big boy bouff

Bouffalant @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 156 SpD / 100 Spe
Careful Nature
- Swords Dance
- Return
- Earthquake
- Substitute

Bouffalant is an extremely solid check to Lilligant.
Thanks to Sap Sipper, Bouffalant is immune to both Sleep Powder and Giga Drain, and 2HKOs Lilligant in return with a STAB Return. Thanks to Bouffalant's respectable base 95 HP and SpDef stats it is able to maintain a Substitute, taking a maximum of 21.3% from Hidden Power Fire, Rock or Ice at +1 from a non-Life Orb set.
The set in question is also able to comfortably set up on a variety of defensive Pokémon commonly paired with Lilligant, including but not limited to defensive Mesprit, Lanturn, Sandslash-Alola and Regirock.

While Bouffalant is able to even comfortably take a +1 Z-Hyper Beam, it dies to a followup raw Hyper Beam. While Bouffalant could technically sub on the +1 Hyper Beam to tank the raw Hyper followup to avoid this, the presence of hazards and Bouffalant's reliance on Swords Dance to beat less physically frail threats make me hesitant to classify it as an outright Counter.

+1 252 SpA Lilligant Hidden Power Rock vs. 252 HP / 156+ SpD Bouffalant: 71-84 (18 - 21.3%)
+1 252 SpA Life Orb Lilligant Hidden Power Rock vs. 252 HP / 156+ SpD Bouffalant: 92-109 (23.3 - 27.6%)
+1 252 SpA Lilligant Breakneck Blitz (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 156+ SpD Bouffalant: 235-277 (59.6 - 70.3%)
+1 252 SpA Lilligant Hyper Beam vs. 252 HP / 156+ SpD Bouffalant: 176-208 (44.6 - 52.7%)

0 Atk Bouffalant Return vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Lilligant: 151-178 (53.7 - 63.3%)
