I went a little unconventional this time with Musharna. Since Mesprit left, the meta has been looking for its next closest replacement. While Musharna has the physical bulk, coverage moves, ability to check Gurdurr, Primeape, and Hitmonchan, and utility moves in Calm Mind and Healing Wish, it will never live up to Mesprit's legacy. However, it can be very good in the right situations. Have fun with this one guys!

Snowslash is a nice counter to Musharna as it can cripple it with Toxic while ignoring Synchronize. It also shrugs off both of Musharnas attacks. Especially without Leftovers it’s worn down very quickly while Snowslash can just wear it down with Icicle Crash.

A switch-up to something unorthodox makes this one a counter to Musharna. It can easily withstand a +1 of either Psyshock or Dazzling Gleam. Whether Musharna wants to just keep damaging it or set up some more, Encore will ensure they stay locked into that move. Toxic can be swapped out with Stealth Rock, but I had it there for the fact that Toxic into Synchronize will keep Clefairy from getting buggered by something else that can cause paralysis, freeze, or sleep. Also, bonus points for being one of the only non-steel types to counter it, maybe?

Probopass is a counter because it resists both of Musharnas Attacks as Probopass is part Steel and Probopass can use Toxic to wear down Musharna in the long run or can proceed to set Stealth Rocks
up as Musharna won't stay in on Probopass as Probopass is unbreakable for Musharna and Musharna can't 1v1 Probopass in the long run, instead Probopass can Toxic Musharna and whittle it down and can
Attack with its STAB Flash Cannon to speedup the process of killing Musharna.

Inspired by Oathkeepre literally posting it in his last post as an honourable Kangaskhan check, I'm nominating Metang here as a counter to Musharna.

And this is at +6. It's safe to say that Metang can switch into this thing repeatedly, cripple it with Toxic (if it doesn't switch) and slowly begin to whittle at it with Meteor Mash.

While it's not too relevant to the set Oath posted, it's worth noting that Metang also does not care about Barrier or Fairium Z sets.

Musharna at +6 in SpAtk can’t kill ferro, and he can PP stall the moonlight with leech seed + tect + gyro ball. It’s definitely a very good counter to musharna

Quagsire acts as a counter to Musharna. Unaware lets it ignore Musharna's boosts from Calm Mind. And it just naturally takes it's moves really comfortably. Curse allows it to start boosting up, while Recover keeps it healthy. With enough boosts it can break through Musharna. Pretty self-explanatory, nothing interesting here. Remember that EQ even at +6 can't OHKO Musharna tho. And watch out for Energy Ball!

The calcs on Musharna vs Eviolite Scyther are interesting. Scyther is able to tank many from Musharna's hits - even boosted ones. Since there is no Stored Power, Psyshock should be Musharna's strongest attack due to it being STAB. But when looking at the calcs for that, you notice, that even at +2 you won't be able to 2HKO Scyther reliably! That allows Scyther to come in even on a second Calm Mind and then follow up with an SD into two Bug Bites.
If Stealth Rocks are up, it's not that easy to defeat Musharna with Scyther, since you have to use a turn to roost which would give Musharna an opportunity to setup even further. To be precise: On the turn Scyther switches in, Musharna gets, in worst case, a second CM. Then, Scyther has to Roost while Musharna gets its third CM. Now Scyther can't be considered a counter anymore, because Musharna 2HKOs Scyther with Psyshock. So, a nice check we got here!

Submitting this glorious Drifblim set as a check to Musharna. Flame Orb combined with Flare Boost allows you to boost your Special Attack after a turn, during which you can use Will-O-Wisp to get the Hex boost. This results in a huge 3x multiplier for the b i g d a m a g e . However this set is not a counter as it cannot reliably switch into Psyshock after rocks.
