Nice counter. Eel's attacks do 0 (volt does 16% max lmao) and Z-Draco into Dpulse kills after Stealth Rocks, or it can Koff and 2HKO (well, 3HKO I guess) Dpulse after rocks.

Stoutland is an offensive check to Eelektross, able to take every hit from it and having a 37% chance to KO it with Return after Stealth Rock have been set on the opposing side. When using Stout against Eel the player must use it aggressively, bringing it in on slower threads such as Eel, so obtaining that momentum will always come in handy as long as the risk is worth taking. Pointing this out since a way to deal with the type of Pokemon such as Eel and Lanturn is to avoid them from pivoting in and out and taking advantage of their low speed to bring in heavy hitters such as the aforementioned Stout.

The only move that Eel can use against Stout in order to 2HKO it is Volt Switch, which has a 9% chance to KO after Stealth Rock, which is problematic in case the player isnt able to predict the Eels attack, but thats something that can be said about any other pivot that might just U-Turn or Volt Switch in front of a threat. So yeah, Stout is a nice check and always a mon thats difficult to deal with once it gets going and its checks are slightly weakened.

Lycanroc is a super solid check to AV Eel. Even when Lycanroc is not at +2, a Z-Stone Edge is able to wipe out Eel after rocks without Lycan taking any form of damage. Alternatively, you can SD on Eel and then Stone Edge to attempt a sweep but in doing so, you risk yourself getting crit by Eel or missing stone edge.

pretty easy to get chip with sr since eel is gonna be pivoting around a bunch without reliable recovery. eq is a roll but the chip can secure the ohko. not too hard since most assume Me First and wont preserve the hp. cool check imo uwu.

Even without Specs, unboosted Hyper Voice 3HKOes Eel.
