Torterra is a check

Any Torterra set is a fine check to Raichu because it stops it from spamming its most spammable moves, plus Torterra fits very well onto many kinds of teams. Of course, it dies to HP Ice but that's not a very fun move for the Raichu user to click (it actually doesn't OHKO a healthy Torterra so you can take one in a pinch even without Yache)
 
Well no one is getting those... And it would be a shame for those to be lost just cuz I reserved Gourgeist earlier...
Specially Sliggoo, Hypno and Gogoat that are really underrated pokes in this meta...
Also... It's kinda weird on how a kinda high rated poke has so many checks and counters...

Wall Carracosta, thanks to Solid Rock and an high Defense, is able to take on Rapidash fairly well, tanking with ease coverage moves such as Wild Charge and Drill Run that allow Rapidash to deal with common Water- and Rock-Types. Carracosta is able to hit back hard with a Rock Slide, which is able to KO Rapidash with some prior damage, most likely Life Orb recoil will be enough, or can opt for Scald to be useful against different types of threats, though it will be less useful in this type of matchup.

Solrock takes little to nothing from any of Rapidash's moves, and has reliable recovery to counter it throughout the match with Morning Sun. Solrock can hit back hard with Stone Edge, easily ohko'ing Rapidash if it decides to stay in for some weird reason. 248 HP / 204 Def / 56 Spe works too, but I like this spread to outspeed Pawniard and burn it with Will-O-Wisp.

Thanks to its high physical bulk along with Leftovers and access to Synthesis, which allows it to constantly tank hits, Gourgeist can keep itself healthy enough to switch in against Barbaracle with constance, as even at +2, it isn't KOd by Aerial Ace, while without boosts it just gets tickled, though it has to be careful switching on it at +2, especially if entry hazards are on the field, as it will get 2HKO; However, Gourgeist can still easily switch on Barbaracle before it gets a boost or can also come in revengekill, and answer back with Will-O-Wisp or Leech Seed, predicting the switch or directly go for a Seed Bomb 1HKOing Barbaracle.

While Volbeat doesn't really have the Ability to hit Barbaracle with an Offensive Move, it can still Encore it into Shell Smash or Cripple it with a Thunder Wave. If it Encores it into a Shell Smash, it can U-Turn to another Pokemon that can take it on or get momentum on a switch. It still can't take a hit though.

Grumpig can switch on Regice easily, thanks to its access Thick Fat, which makes Regice's deal ridiculously low damage, while it doesn't change much w its coverage moves, as they will deal low damage as well. Grumpig can retaliate paralysing Regice therefore nullifying its sweep, though Grumpig has to be wary about not taking unnecessary damage and statuses, as it doesnt carry a reliable recovery.
