Rules
  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your captains know ASAP so they can communicate that to the host or the other team's captains for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag the host, the captains of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. Your win won't be counted without a replay

SV: Leru vs Floss - floss kinda nice on the sticks, generally just don't feel like it's a good idea to bet against him
SS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs DugZa - could see this going either way but i trust dugza in the builder a little more
SM: Punny vs robjr - it will be a cold day in hell before i bold against robjr
ORAS: ManOfMany vs yandaud - ORAS pool was pretty dire and i think MoM was def a solid pickup here
BW: sugar ovens vs LpZ - sugar ovens is great but bolding against LpZ in an oldgen lowtier feels like a long shot
DPP: hariyana grande vs Drud - dude's been on fire lately and i also just haven't seen a ton of drud gaming
ADV: HANTSUKI vs Jabba - both ends of this MU are def on the weaker end of the adv pool but still good, giving hantsuki the edge
GSC: BloodAce vs corvere - the biggest steal in the entire draft, expecting a lot from ace here
RBY: Sabelette vs NotVeryCake - the last time i saw someone bold cake i was forced to watch the most looney tunes ass game of adv uu i have ever seen in my life and i don't wanna subject them to more rng crimes against both man and god

ADV: Lily vs Medeia - literally coinflipped this, might be the most exciting game of adv pu i've seen in a while as long as lily doesn't bring some fuckass swalot set
GSC: Estarossa vs DiannieRatson - never seen diannie play gsc anything but beating esta would be a cool start, not counting on it tho

SV: ishtar vs Danny - I think Dannys better, metagame knowledge isnt a worry for me bc hes been very far in pu playoffs quite recently and is a tryhard
SV: asa vs Piyush25 - This ones much closer, i think piyush is a better pilot but asa has more knowledge. Ill say the danny support is enough for a piyush win. The komalas do have a motivated and synergistic group which helped them do well in PUPL tho so it's basically 50-50 here.
SS: zS vs freezai - I doubt freezai cares about this tour ngl, also i think he signed up for BW? Zs is also a mega tryhard in this i'd expect. He might int in team choice but I feel like he's more or less grown past that
SM: PTF vs Xiri - PTF Im told you cancered on my friends in PSPL or PTPL. I dont expect you to win until you reckon with this behavior and rebuild some bridges. Also xiris mega fire (despite only a .500 record in PU subforum tours apparently), def one of the premier players in this tour even without tlenit sidekick boost
ORAS: Aberforth vs Blue YM - My sources (avarice) told me "aberforth is fire in oras". im lookin forward to seeing abe cook, tbh i wasnt aware he had a history with this tier and wouldve still bolded him bc friends lol.
BW: EviGaro vs SergioRules - La toxica vs the player most likely to apologize for a 75% roll or some shit. All plot armor points towards sergio BUT evi is an insane 25-10 in this tier so yes i have to bold her here.
DPP: Alkione vs HSOWA - Somehow alkione has 30 games in PU when the hell did this happen?? Despite being solid i think hsowa has a little higher ceiling (and i know him more for dpp, had alkione pegged as bw but that could be wrong and i know he has at least /some/ dpp background in other tiers)
ADV: Lily vs Medeia - the 2 players i expected the highest price for in adv, and i think they did go at the highest prices? ik lily did for sure LOL. Medeia isnt that known but has been grinding for a while and seemed to have a really strong PU Classic, at least in qualifying phase. should def be a highlight, gl guys!! i will be :TakingNotes:
GSC: Estarossa vs DiannieRatson - A highlight for me too, which does NOT mean ill be watching until i get assurances that gsc pu is actually fun. however ill be curious to see who wins. Dianne has some good gsc pu results (even tho theres not that many tours) and Esta is obviously a known gsc all arounder. Going esta off experience but it's def winnable for both especially bc idk if estas touched this much?
RBY: Teh vs Sleid - Teh is FIRE even tho he didnt wanna rby.

SV: Taka vs Beraldo - This is an exciting mu for sure, Taka gets called a good teammate in every tour he's done (most recently LCWC) and Im sure he'll tryhard this tour. No idea where his SV PU knowledge is at this moment. Beraldo is one of the best in the pool, hes going off everywhere as a player (SPL, LCWC most notably rn) which may mean hes distracted but the sandacondas should still have the support to get him a good team. Im gonna predict baldo but this is prob closer than people who dont know of taka might think
SV: Aurist vs gum - Aurist gets a lot of hype for being a cool new mainer but I got the sense theyre more oldgen focused? Glad to see them drafted tho. Gum just made it to PU ribbon finals and worked very hard to get there, kicking my ass in like all 10 tests (the only games ive ever played of this tier... which has totally changed since then...) and doing solidly last SCL. No reason not to bold gum here tbh.
SS: Fc vs sensei axew - Sensei has like a 50% chance to show up any given game but is the top of the sv pool. Perhaps fc will be motivated to take revenge on sensei being useless that one SSPL they teamed or whatever....
SM: Leni vs MZ - Tlenit is always underpriced but good, i think he's very good in SM PU as long as he doesnt bring stall into a team that destroys it. MZ is good too but I feel like he struggles against the top tier of players tho this narrative is like 50% made up and not fact checked at all lol.
ORAS: TONE vs tko - Close one, I just associate TONE with this tier more and i feel like ORAS requires a decent amount of tier specific knowledge. Or maybe thats just bc ive been owned every time i tried to play it
BW: Tack vs Feaniix - Tacks better on the sheet! Even tho she may be busy with work. NGL every time ive seen the germans spam bold feaniix in the pu threads he has lost... so even tho he had a good RUPL/UUFPL recently im goin with Gack. That said whyd Bella go 15 on Tack and then flame other people for overpays :wo:
DPP: kenny vs Meru - Merus a big tryhard, I havent really seen kenny in anything except when i recommended him for an old gscpl and he didnt do well? i think hes an active ROA guy so im sure he'll try but meru has also been on this site 1 million years and is very good at farming inexperienced players
ADV: Slowbroth vs Bouff - someone told me hes the adv pu goat... or i read it in the discord or something. and i know bouff wanted to play CG, so not sure what motivation/support they'll have (tho the tier has good resources and he can tryhard).
GSC: vani vs BeeOrSomething - I saw a screenshot of bee's results and they look extremely fire flames. I think vani's still probably a better player and ik someone talked about bee being new. HOWEVER i doubt vani cares that much about this bc hes currently kicking ass in SPL.

RBY: Sabelette vs NotVeryCake - Cake's impressed me recently in both play and prep, excited to see her face the best player in the pool even if I think Sabel will still pull through thanks to experience.

RBY: Teh vs Sleid - Teh's familiar with the tier and puts good performances in but often rushes some key turns, potential for a great tour here if he focuses up. I don't think sleid's played much RBY before, wish them the best picking up this tier!

RBY: phoopes vs gastlies - gastlies is similar to Teh in that she's very familiar with the tier but still a few too many mistakes. Hope she can focus up but she's favoured this week vs phoopes who always does pretty decently in these kinds of tours.

SV: avarice vs Feliburn - Avarice played hot last meta, which is kinda similar to this one. Feli hasn't been around since PUWC, idr how he did but LA did poorly :(
SV: Leru vs Floss - I rate Floss so highly as a player and I trust him to win any game atp.

SV: ishtar vs Danny - Cool music taste from both. Danny makes it pretty difficult to beat him, and has been in form, monster in the builder as well. However there's a chance he self goobs with teams and Ishtar has the means to beat it. But I rate Danny so highly as a player.
SV: asa vs Piyush25 - I fully expect piyu to smoke people when he adapts in later rounds. He's a maniac. But as it stands, he probably still thinks Veluza is broken or something, so I trust asa here. She's solid and creative and really up to date with the meta.

SV: Aurist vs gum - Love you aurist, but this is extremely one sided. I expected to see Aurist in oldgens and someone like zoowi, who has gotten some nice tour game wins and ladder peaks recently here. But even then I'd still side with gum... Atm I think gum probably has the best knowledge of the tier, and is likely the best in the pool.

SV: avarice vs Feliburn - Both really good players and neither PU mains. I think Feli has the better support with DugZa and Robjr both being somewhat up to date with SV meta as well as Drud being generally active.
SV: Leru vs Floss - Haven't seen much of Leru in PU, Floss stocks are rising.
RBY: Sabelette vs NotVeryCake - Sablette has had bad luck recently and NotVeryCake just won the RBY PU tour so even though I think Sablette is better I think NotVeryCake takes this one.

SV: ishtar vs Danny - ishtar has really good weeks and some mediocre weeks in terms of clicking. Danny tends to win the games where the mu is favored so as long as Danny's prep is solid I expect a win from Danny.
SV: asa vs Piyush25 - asa seems to know how to win in PU atm, Piyu is obviously very good though so I wouldn't count them out.
GSC: Estarossa vs DiannieRatson - This game should be super cool, both players are very good.
RBY: Teh vs Sleid - Teh is on a tear lately, 6-0 in nucl and I expect them continue here. Sleid is also very good in the builder so this should be a cool series.

SV: Taka vs Beraldo - taka is really good, but also a bit inconsistent, I think Beraldo has a good shot at taking this one with support from gum
SV: Aurist vs gum - aurist is good but gum is gum, I can't imagine gum losing week one
RBY: phoopes vs gastlies - gastlies is historically very good in rby pu and idk how much phoopes plays the tier so i'm looking forward to see what gets brought
