Pet Mod Public Domain (SLATE 7: Big Changes, Bigger Promises)

and after yet another hiatus, I think i'm ready to come back.
SLATE 7: BIG CHANGES, BIGGER PROMISES!

so a really notable problem we've had is that the mons that really require changes to keep up (Lickitung-Parched, Llamonade), the mons just... missing something (Prinsutinea with his stupid bad coverage) and the ones that would want to stand out more (grimace-alola) haven't been changed quite much, so I believe that a slate more specific to help them would be better.

For all intensive purposes, this is a free-for-all slate, but you can make ONE more change to a Mon you think deserves another chance.

lasts until the 4th of October! and then.. we might just actually do something for the meta.

Weight: 120 kg
Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Snow Abuser, Defensive Pivot?
Flavor: the darm
Reasoning: great partner with prince bc its 4x weak to rock with slush rush, but has v bad bulk. or it can use zen mode and be a weird pivot ig

Shockhopper_journal.png

Name: Shockhopper
Type: Ice / Electric
Stats: 80 / 35 / 80 / 100 / 80 / 125 | 500

Weight: 16 kg
Role: Offensive Pivot, Special Wallbreaker
Flavor: this guy
Reasoning: provides a really fast pivot in an otherwise fairly slow metagame. quite strong with boltbeam but can be walled well with hamburger/ttos/stunfisk-g/grimace or even neutral hits like deoxys

1758809148411.png

Name: The Familiar Shadow
Stats: 105/102/74/90/61/138 | 570
Custom Elements:
Deja Vu - Shell Armor + Delta Stream + Battery
Reasoning: the stats rn are real bad and i think it deserves to be a pult in this meta. deja vu still sucks but at least it isnt haxy af like it was before

sligmamega.png

Name: Sligma (-Mega)
Stats: 74/77/86/76/126/50 | 489
Mega Stats: 74/147/96/76/126/70 | 589
Custom Elements:
Ligma: This Pokemon's bullet moves use its highest stat as its offensive stat.
Movepool Changes: + Electro Ball, Energy Ball, Ice Ball, Mist Ball, Pyro Ball, Shadow Ball
Reasoning: gives a good reason to use base as a special tank that can dish out a lot of dmg with its balls. mega gets a speed buff instead of a drop so it can outspeed sport if it wants to

Classification:

Power: 100
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 15 [24 Max]
Effects: -3 priority. User charges up at start of turn. If attacked while charging up, user restores 25% of maximum hp.
Reasoning: Even in the distant future, he's still fishing.

Type:

Classification:

Power: 65
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10 [16 Max]
Effects: Sets a 24 Karat Labubu on the field (Ghost type Stealth Rock, includes immunities. 24 Karat Labubu and Stealth Rock cannot coexist. Setting one of these hazards will remove the other from the opponent’s side of the field.)
Reasoning: I think most people agree that THP needs a change but cannot agree on how. Wanted to resub this fix given I feel like its the least intrusive on THP's pre-existing playstyle.

potentialvire.png

Name: Potential Vire
Type: Electric / Fighting
Stats: 95/113/107/87/69/99 (570)
Abilities: Protosandthesis
Movepool:
Physical.png
Potential Punch*, Drain Punch, Hammer Arm, Superpower, Low Kick, Rock Tomb, Knock Off, Rapid Spin | Supercell Slam, Thunder Punch, Spark, Fling, Giga Impact, Thief, Wild Charge
Special.png
Discharge | Thunderbolt, Thunder, Weather Ball, Aurasphere, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Electroweb, Electro Ball, Hyper Beam, Shock Wave, Sift, Uproar, Ancient Power
Status.png
Motor Charge, Bulk Up, Thunder Wave, Taunt, Spikes | Protect, Rest, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Light Screen, Reflect, Charge, Electric Terrain, Follow Me, Helping Hand, Leer, Sandstorm, Sand Attack
- Type : Electric
- Category :
Physical.png

- BP : 90
- PP : 16
- Accuracy : 100%
- Tags : Contact, Punching
- Effect : User recovers 50% of the damage dealt.
- Type : Electric
- Category :
Status.png

- BP : -
- PP : 8
- Accuracy : -
- Tags : Healing
- Effect : Heals 1/3 of HP ; if user took damage before using the move, +1 Speed.
Weight: 138.6 kg
Role: Physical Tank, Sand Abuser, Setup Sweeper
Flavor: Electivire's past paradox form.
Reasoning:
Potential Vire is meant to act as a defensive Fighting type that also resists Steel (and not weak to ice), while also being a second Sand Abuser, that can either go for Atk or Speed depending on nature. Motor Charge is a weak recovery move, but lets it turn into a sweeper or cleaner in the right context.
Has limited coverage to not overlap too much with Mewtwo.

:amoonguss: :comfey:
Name: Amoonguss-FairyRing (now with 2 "s")
Stats: 124/95/70/105 (+10)/80/30 (494 -> 504 BST)
New Moves : Recover
Reasoning: Having only Synthesis/Moonlight in a weather centric metagame sucks. Added 10 SpA for a bit more offensive presence (and so there's more than just one move added). Only 2 changes because the mon is fine on other aspects already.

:gogoat: :ludicolo:
Name: Llamonade
Stats: 95/100/105/100 (+20)/90/55 (525 -> 545 BST)
Stats: Cud Chew / Acid Spit (Rough Skin clone but also works on pivoting moves) / Sap Sipper
New Moves : Recover, Razor Shell, Lama Sip*, Earthquake
- Type : Water
- Category :
- BP : 80
- PP : 16
- Accuracy : 100%
- Tags : None
- Effect : Heals for 50% of the damage dealt.
Reasoning: Similar reasoning to Amoonguss for Recover, added more SpA so it's better vs the mons with a fuck ton of Def like Pex or Melmetal (and makes it better vs Melm while still being breakable), Acid Spit lets it actually punish pivoting, and added more fun Water moves to run + Quake for more damage on the Sligmas.

Name: Bibarel-Purposeless
Type: Poison/Water
Abilities: Technician/Thick Fat/Intoxicate
Stats: 105/100/100/40/55/20(420)
Weight: 94.5 kg
Movepool: Bibarel's Gen 8 movepool + Slack Off, Toxic, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Body Slam, Belch, Sludge Bomb and - surf, strength, rock smash, dive, and waterfall
Custom Elements: Intoxicate- Normal type moves become poison type and receive a 20% power boost.
Role: Physical Wall
Reasoning: Ever since the death of HMs Bibarels have become lethargic and rather depressed. They seek out finding hobbies to do with all this extra time but it doesn't fill the void. It has gotten so bad that they they can't even remember those hidden moves. Oh and I guess it does well in with the rock type physical attackers and fills the defacto role of bulky water alright.

prajwq.png

Name: Lickitung-Parched
Stats: 100 | 100 (+5) | 100 (+15) | 75 | 85 | 45 [BST=505]
New Abilities : Purifying Salt, Water Absorb, Technician
Reasoning: Look being a slow defensive rock type isn't really fun in a meta where grass and water are really common types, and salt does absorb water so this makes sense too. Flavor wise you can say that the salt encrusted on its tongue prevents it from properly getting the liquid it craves.

1759536524474.png

Name: The Familiar Shadow
Stats: 63|100(+8)|61 (-3)|90|61|125 (-5) [BST=500]
Custom Elements:
Deja Vu - Moves that this pokemon has already used have their power increased by 20%
Reasoning: Deja Vu was a pretty weird ability and reworking it into a flat power boost turns it from bad to less bad. Although this seems kinda weak for a buff.

oldfriend-revived.png

Name: The Familiar Friend (mega evolution for The Familiar Shadow)
Stats: 63|135|71|115|71|145 [BST=600]
Type: Steel / Dragon
Weight:
121.5 Kg
Custom Elements:
Charged Up - Electric type steelworker
Foreman's Badge - It's the mega evolution item for The Familiar Shadow
Reasoning: He needed a bigger buff than just reworked Deja Vu so why not a mega to bring some added body to this familiar friend of ours.
Flavor: The Familiar Shadow came across an abandoned factory, one that was going to make strange items like speedy sleds. Lying in the dust of this abandoned place was a badge belonging to the foreman of this factory, a monster simply known as Dinodily. It's face was familiar to the the shadow, and as he touched it memories came flooding back. The generation, the rise to foreman, the fall of the factory, his grassroots campaign to enter a fighting tournament. The Familiar Shadow remembered it all. The memories of its armor that was once strong, memories of its often ignored internal battery, and memories of its changing winds that seemed to cancel out all other weather. In an instant the shadow gained physical form again, steely hide encasing its shadowy visage, and a new found surge of power that captured the winds and battery into one new power, strengthening its bond to electricity.

Name: Crow who Knows
Type: Psychic / Flying
Stats:
62 / 111 / 62 / 79 / 111 / 100 (525)
Abilities: Forewarn / Refrigerate / Delayed Punchline
Movepool:
Wise Bird, Zen Headbutt, Psycho Cut, Brave Bird, Fly, Drill Peck, Pluck, Dual Wingbeat, Icicle Crash, Icicle Spear, Triple Axel, Temper Flare, Steel Wing, Feint Attack, Giga Impact, Double Edge, Crush Claw, Facade, Retaliate, Slash, Covet, Quick Attack, Feint, Future Sight, Psychic, Expanding Force, Psychic Noise, Confusion, Psywave, Hurricane, Air Slash, Gust, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Dark Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Hyper Beam, Hyper Voice, Round, Hidden Power, Sonic Boom, Light Screen, Reflect, Agility, Calm Mind, Trick, Speed Swap, Miracle Eye, Skill Swap, Rest, Roost, Defog, Tailwind, Taunt, Chilly Reception, Detect, Snowscape, Swords Dance, Natural Gift, Screech, Leer, Confide, Substitute, Sleep Talk, Protect
Custom Elements:
Delayed Punchline - When this pokémon is about to use Chilly Reception, it first uses future sight.
Wise Bird - Psychic Physical | 120 BP | 100 Acc | 15/24 PP | Deals 1/3 recoil to user. Contact
Weight: 2kg
Role: Low-Longevity Wallbreaker, Another Chilly Guy.
Flavor: Psychic Trickster Crow, sorta Odin-coded.
Reasoning: Mid speed breaker who has really strong base power moves but takes a ton of recoil and super effective from both rocks and labubu, limiting its ability to run power items or scarf. Struggles with breaking Melmetal or TTos but gets to chilly reception on them to disrupt their weather strategies. In this way discourages teams being too reliant on weather but strengthens the mons individually. Can run pivoting, coverage or swords dance on top of stabs. Also has refrig quick attack hf with that one.
Really enjoys Prinsutinea as a partner both to handle its hazard vulnerability and to set snow that allows Prins to spam Blizzards - both mons can work together to overwhelm checks.

Name: Teto
Type: Electric
Stats:
93 / 119 / 93 / 99 / 62 / 99 (565)
Abilities: Well-Baked Body / Unburden / Utau
Movepool:
Teto Territory, Supercell Slam, Wild Charge, Thunder Punch, Spark, Drill Run, First Impression, Leech Life, U-Turn, Fly, Dual Wingbeat, Fire Punch, Steel Wing, Giga Impact, Hyper Drill, Facade, Rapid Spin, Quick Attack, Fury Attack, Zap Cannon, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Overdrive, Volt Switch, Shock Wave, Electroweb, Flash Cannon, Alluring Voice, Shadow Ball, Hyper Voice, Uproar, Round, Echoed Voice, Thunder Wave, Electric Terrain, Magnet Rise, Taunt, Nasty Plot, Metal Sound, Work Up, Confide, Agility, Substitute, Rest, Sleep Talk, Protect
Custom Elements:
Utau - Physical Normal moves have 1.5x power and become Sound.
Teto Territory - Ice Special | 60 BP | 90 Acc | 10/16 PP | Always lands a critical hit. Sound.
Weight: 62 kg
Role: Physical Pivot & Spinner / Special Throat Spray Unburden Sweeper
Flavor: Teto
Reasoning: Saw a teto sub being workshopped and wanted to make my own.

No clue if this counts as a mon submission or a change submission to add a mega to an existing mon but here you go:
This is a change (a nerf)

1759396450762.png
Name: Crazy Hamburger
Mega evolves from Hamburger holding a Jokerite
Type: Ground / Poison
Stats:
115 / 105 / 125 (+20) / 135 (+60) / 100 (+20) / 85 (650)
Ability: Crazy Smoke
Movepool Additions: Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Sludge, Corrosive Gas
Movepool Removals: Take Heart, Soft Boiled
Custom Elements:
Crazy Smoke - Reduces damage taken by 20% from moves that do not match their user's type. Belch can be used without eating a berry.
Beef Up - now only raises Attack and cures status.
Role: Physdef / Bulky Spatker, resistant to coverage but not amazing def. typing.
(weight unchanged)
