Rules​
  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.​

Goofy Goober Goodras (3) vs (7) Haunter x Haunter
SV: etern vs Vulpix - Both are good players so the best I can go off of here is that the Haunters are coming off of a more dominant win and I think have more hands on deck in SV prep than the Goodras do. Also, if etern is as inactive as he put in his signup then Vulpix has more time to acclimate.
SV: sufys vs fish anemometer - Sufys lost off of essentially a 50/50 last week but I still think Fish is better in builder and in-game. Not a great pull for Sufys whos looking to probably fix a Week 1 loss.
SV: Hiko vs Kev - Pretty hard to not just bold Hiko here, don't have much to say.
SS: OranBerryBlissey10 vs Ming - Unfortunately for me I will have to bold OBB. Ming overthought in builder last week and I think he'll take that as a reminder to cool down a little bit. While I think he can definitely take this OBB has momentum rn.
SM: btboy vs MZ - btboy's play last week didn't convince me and MZ is probably not gonna lose this regardless.
ORAS: ishtar vs TSR - Last week's game with ishtar and gama was literally just crits and luck back to back to back to back every turn LOL so I can't comment much on ishtar's play yet, but TSR seemed to play well so I'll bold on that even if it's not totally clear who will win here.
BW: LpZ vs TyCarter - Bolding against LpZ in BW :clueless:. An upset would be awesome tho.
DPP: Ara vs Charmriah - Still holding faith that Charm will start making his mark on this tournament soon. Ara knows DPP low tiers p well tho so this is probably one of my more biased predictions.
ADV: Parpar vs Lily - I don't like watching ADV unless its my player so I don't have much of a comment here and probably wont for the rest of my ADV predictions for this tour, but Lily prob wins.
Bo3: seraphz vs DugZa - Seraphz owned Ryan but I still think DugZa will win

SV: Xiri vs Suzukaaa - Good win off of Metallica last week and is again on a super crazy hot streak rn that I don't see fizzling out anytime soon.
SV: Piyu vs dunoks - Piyu is better I think. Maybe he'll lose to cheese again.
SV: Stories vs 691 - Stories does p well in most of her tours and while I can't go off of much from her week 1 game I feel like she can take this if she's motivated.
SS: Lambovino vs Hacker - I want to bold Hacker out of bias but I think Lambo will take this because I genuinely don't know who can reasonably help hacker in SS from the Delphoxes lmao.
SM: Estarossa vs tom holland - i hope the weeb gacha player wins. In seriousness though I think tom's builds can be pretty hit or miss while I think Esta is consistent.
ORAS: watashi vs feen - feen owned me and proved me wrong. I think watashi is a better pilot but feen can definitely take it depending on his effort level this tour. Assuming both players are just getting teams and playing / not saying much then I'd favor watashi.
BW: Cow vs Tizio - Cow gets too comfortable in builder me thinks and thats the perfect opponent for Tizio.
DPP: SFG vs TJ - Knows the tier more / better vs someone who got subbed out W1
ADV: plznostep vs Aurist - Step has more results that are fresh in my mind and Aurist has to play a lot of uphill battles in this pool. While I hope they do well I think step is better.
Bo3: Larry vs Leni - Someone here will be getting subbed. But Larry is Larry.

SV: kyuss vs Metallica126 - kyuss got momentum + more consistent builds. Not too sold on Braviary.
SV: Skarpherim vs big tony 2014 - Skarph owned the person who most will think is #1 in this pool, and is prob not losing this unless he gets cheesed.
SV: pdt vs LOOR - As your friend, you should chill in game chat. as I said last week pdt can lose to ballsy plays which seems to be what happened(?). I think he just got MU'd ngl. But I think he'll learn from that this week.
SS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs Suzuya - Not bolding against highest price player in the auction that's also 1-0
SM: PTF vs robjr - He's probably tied with MZ for best in this pool, I don't see him dropping a game if he isn't playing vs webs/hail.
ORAS: Killintime vs lighthouses - kt had a pretty close game iirc. I think he will start pulling through now.
BW: neomon vs avarice - Better prep + better in-game for the most part
DPP: BeatsBlack vs Django - BeatsBlack to my surprise lost last week but idk I hate DPP its trading simulator. This is a game I think is pretty 5050 but I'll bold Beats.
ADV: mielke vs Plague - More convinced of plague's gameplay rn. Also better in builder with Skrimps and Chungler around.
Bo3: Drud vs zS - 1-0 vs a good opp 0-1 vs a opp I think isn't as good as Drud.

Pokestar Pranksters (0) vs (0) Malignant Chain Snatchers - feels pretty 50/50 despite me ending up going pranksters
SV: SEA vs S1nn0hC0nfirm3d - sorta impossible to call this one. SEA had a dominant win vs etern although not without an initial error of switching Goodra into a moonblast, while s1nn0h dropped his week 1 with a team that flopped hard but I did sorta like. I expect SEA to remain solid and bring something respectable, this is really just on s1nn0h to be better than solid
SV: DripLegend vs Floss - better week 1 and I'd like to see the drip redemption since power rankings have fully played out that one meme now. a kyuss loss is still a respectable start though, floss isn't looking bad
SV: Bouff vs Ampha - ok but imagine if this was another jolteon 6-0
SS: gum vs The Strap - massive strap glazer goes into depression after the week 1 throw
SM: Gondra vs sugar ovens - sugar's opponent was throwing while gondra's haxed him, feeling pretty even so im gonna go with my gut
ORAS: Eternal Spirit vs Ruffles - liked both of their teams last week, more vibes based prediction
BW: Accel vs Tack - I don't hold an LpZ loss againt Accel at all, but nothing there showed me a reason to go against tack
DPP: frankjosh vs Laurel - better week 1
ADV: violet river vs sleid - better week 1
Bo3: sensei axew vs lax - not feeling a 0-2 from ryan

BW: Cow vs Tizio - rough weeks for both, i respect cow's overpredicts more than sub mightyena
DPP: SFG vs TJ - I don't watch ROA tours enough to have a reason to predict any other way

Bo3: Larry vs Leni - my bold prediction is that this matchup will actually happen without subs

m.A.A.d. City Magmortars (0) vs (0) The KINGPINS - this simply shouldn't be an upset by power rankings, I simply do not believe the mags are the underdogs here
SV: kyuss vs Metallica126 - probably my highlight of the week, gonna give slight pull to kyuss
SV: Skarpherim vs big tony 2014 - big fan of both but im trying to commit to always bolding one side so fuck it let's go tony
SV: pdt vs LOOR - more hopeful that we see a bounceback and not a week 2 crashout, but wouldn't be surprised if pdt gets LOOR'd
SS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs Suzuya - not terribly impressed with Suzuya's debut
SM: PTF vs robjr - I know PTF is better than what we saw week 1 but boy that was rough
ORAS: Killintime vs lighthouses - idk probably lol
BW: neomon vs avarice - I've seen worse week 1 losses but avarice actually looked good so yeah
DPP: BeatsBlack vs Django - neither of these players should be starting 0-2 x_x but like on paper before what we saw last week I'd say beats is stronger with better support. now idk
ADV: mielke vs Plague - idk mielke and they got waxed by sunflora so yeah. we keep having new RoA players break out in this tier though so maybe?
Bo3: Drud vs zS - despite the loss idt zS looked bad last week, but Drud did look better. It would be cool if Drud goes on a losing streak so I can get sheet #1 though, even if it's only for a month or two

SV: etern vs Vulpix - vulpix had a much better showing last week and was also cooking hard with that team choice, more of the same and i think he'll be fine
SV: sufys vs fish anemometer - sufys had a rough one last week, and i think he'll definitely be prone to getting jumped by fish's builder shenanigans if he stays in his comfort zone here
SV: Hiko vs Kev - hiko had an extremely close game vs bouff that he lost largely due to bouff recognizing obb's teams from open. kev loaded dogass last week and got his ass handed to him. not particularly close.
SS: OranBerryBlissey10 vs Ming549 - ming i love you but this one probably ain't happening. game vs lambo was closer than expected but obb just beat his only competition for #1 in pool and is also the guy who supplied most of ming's ss cup run
SM: btboy vs MZ - mz's better at this tier and his win was more convincing
ORAS: ishtar vs TSR - idk how to really judge either of these two's prior games, ishtar got nothing vs gama and tsr's opponent brought a team that just kinda fell apart. i suppose tsr played a better game?
BW: LpZ vs TyCarter - have seen 0 evidence so far against the lpz x-0
DPP: Ara vs Charmriah - ara;s win was not without some luck last week and i think charmriah's first game wasn't the absolute worst + i think he's definitely the better player between the two
ADV: Parpar vs Lily - parpar will pay for his crimes, i think he would have been able to win regardless but that game vs violet was fucking foul
Bo3: seraphz vs DugZa - seraphz had a very decisive win last week but will now have to face every brazilian's greatest weakness: a timezone greater than +2. this is also assuming doug actually shows up to the game, in which case i think seraphz can handily beat any of the haunters subs

SV: Xiri vs Suzukaaa - whatever the phoxes sv is doing is working, fully expecting them to continue winning + never bet against china
SV: Piyu vs dunoks - piyu got tossed by snow and dunoks won last week, whatever's goin on in this kitchen is working
SV: Stories vs 691 - interesting matchup here, stories won largely because her opponent last week loaded smth bad and 691 played a super ballsy early game that paid off but managed to narrowly avoid a comeback because loor got greedy. i think this is very close but i'll hold faith that the phoxes can keep the ball rolling.
SS: Lambovino vs Hacker - i don't know if i can in good conscience keep rooting for hacker after his campaigning to free scrafty
SM: Estarossa vs tom holland - esta lost a hard fought game that just kinda didn't go his way because his wacky team choices backfired, tom's game vs rob was a little depressing to watch. i think that this will be a good match but i'm definitely worried about tom making his endgames unreasonably complicated again.
ORAS: watashi vs feen - a little birdie told me watashi's been ignoring advice and flying solo and if last week is what he has to show for it i'm not super jazzed about the future of this slot
BW: Cow vs Tizio Potente Ao - cow is better but you always gotta factor in the chance of random bullshit so this is closer than most probably realize
DPP: SFG vs TJ - didn't get to see sfg play last week while tj had a pretty solid win against django
ADV: plznostep vs Aurist - step is better but that endgame got pretty gnarly vs lily, still hard for me to hold a loss against the top of the pool against them though so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt
Bo3: Larry vs Leni - like mz, i think the boldest prediction i could make here is that this game will get played with no substitutes or other scheduling shenanigans

SV: kyuss vs Metallica126 - my goat got turned into a jolteon victim and i do not expect him to go out like a bitch. regardless of the results however this game is gonna get wacky
SV: Skarpherim vs big tony 2014 - skarph loaded into ho3n not giving a shit which is hard to really judge, tony loaded a dogass matchup but i also don't love the way he navigated it? we'll see
SV: pdt vs LOOR - would hate to see pdt crash out this hard in the first two weeks but good god almighty if anyone can make it happen it's loor
SS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs Suzuya - purely just an experience diff but also dj is pound for pound the luckiest man alive, this dude would survive a final destination movie
SM: PTF vs robjr - ptf threw and rob caught a throw, idk how to really call this so bolding rob as the safety
ORAS: Killintime vs lighthouses - seems even-ish so just gonna bold on the over and take a small risk
BW: neomon vs avarice - neo got worked last week and avarice managed to survive the inundation of bullshit from tizio so i think he'll be fine from here out
