Rules
  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.​

Fuck it im bored at 1 am and cant sleep here's some bw predicts for the week

Accel (w) vs Keshba - 60/40 Accel's crazy good at pokemon and while i'm not super familiar with keshba's overall play he hella lost wk1 if he didnt burn with a flare blitz assuming bughouse's maro spread was good

Neomon vs Bughouse (w) - 49 / 51 i really can see this go either way, both players tend to build for themselves, neomon shows up everywhere and bughouse is probably the most well known name thats always playing bw nu, i feel like bughouse will probably bring something more standard and neomon will bring something more off the wall here, should be an interesting mu to spectate if u enjoy the tier

Cielau vs Tycarter (w) - 45 / 55 both of these players are fundamentally solid, cielau tends to do very well in pu classic whenever i take a look but tycarter's kinda been on a huge hotstreak this year, rupl win was huge and he hasnt slowed down since (that i've seen)
 
Potential return to form for 2 losing teams last week? Both teams absolutely flopped in SV including Bo3 so this probably goes to whichever team figures that out faster more than whichever team looks best on paper

SV PU: brick vs evakiyama - 3 winless slots so these are mostly vibes. Django didn't play last week though so he gets extra benefit of the doubt
SS PU: Spitfire vs sky - lol, lmao even
SM PU: Terracotta vs robjr - I think terra is pretty decent at SM but this pool is feels very top heavy with rob/gondra/sugar/esta
ORAS PU: Vulpix03 vs greybaum - Had a better opening week but could go either way
BW PU: Accel vs keshba54 - flipping who won last week seems fair given how those games went but let's not do Bulk Up Simulator 3000 again
DPP PU: SFG vs hachimaki - Looked vaguely better last week I suppose
ADV PU: mint yerb vs plague - Autobold until morale improves
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Slikkles vs dugza - One of the lesser proven faces in Bo3, I did not see much to warrant bolding Slikkles last week

Narrow loss vs convincing win, I do think Syndicate can do it but the slots that I'd want to be more competitive kinda struggled last week so I'm giving it to Haunters for now, wouldn't take that much flipping for this to be very wrong though

SV PU: axzel vs Scarf Kricketune - Both had very interesting wins last week, kinda favored axzel's but unsure about this one
SV PU: platum vs Big tony 2014 - Probably my highlight of the week, obv tony's win was more compelling given the late crit from Platum but I'm flipping this one just on a feeling that the platum style maybe isn't what tony loves to play into? Just kind of a gut check there
SV PU: xsus vs Xiri - Two very good when hot but somewhat inconsistent players where only one of them got the win last week
SS PU: shaneghoul vs Nuxl - Nuxl had a pretty lucky win that didn't reflect badly on him just one of those games, but I'm inclined to feel generous on Shane for his first game back having one massive choke early on he got saved on and then looking fine once he got his footing back
SM PU: DD Joe vs Hacker - Honestly a pure 50/50 here, both these players go like, webs or something pretty basic maybe with one funny thing of the week and idk who comes out on top for that. Flipped a coin
ORAS PU: crow crumbs vs Feen - Mildly better opening week but not by much
BW PU: neomon vs Bughouse - Same as above, Bughouse was pretty lucky in BW for team tours last week though so hopefully the karma flips
DPP PU: LessThanThreeMan vs Heysup - Heysup's pretty good at this tier
ADV PU: Quarante8 vs Mielke - Both took respectable losses last week but I liked what Mielke had going on marginally more
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): OranBerryBlissey10 vs xcx - Normally this would feel fairly close and even but based on last week xcx gets the predict easily

I predicted Sandstorm to win last week LOL not my best moment, did correctly have Pranksters on top though and I see no reason to change that

SV PU: Kafkafka vs hex - Predicting another SV sweep until Sandstorm turn it around. Realistically all these slots are pretty close and would've been more or less coinflips if it was week 1, but now that we have week 1 to go off of I'll skew the flips all one way
SS PU: MemphisDepay vs Taka - both lost last week but Memphis lost to ming
SM PU: sugar ovens vs Gondra - other highlight of the week, I have no desire to look up their set history but rn I'm inclined to skew Gondra just because vibes
ORAS PU: Blue YM vs LB - Neither looked particularly hot last week, albeit into tough opponents, I'll give the edge to experience
BW PU: Cielau vs TyCarter - very good at this meta vs generally good at all the old gens but less specialized
DPP PU: Lazuli vs yerdunc - Pranksters replacing one player I do not know with another player I do not know. Maybe they're good though
ADV PU: Parpar vs twinkay - Pretty even but I feel bad about the earlier predicts so I'm gonna give it to Parpar
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Metallica126 vs Drud - Hard to get me to bold against Drud in bo3 even if Metallica had won week 1

SV PU: Diamonds_realm vs Django - django is coming in fresh and is definitely better at this tier, wasn't exceptionally wowed by diamonds' game vs drip
SV PU: brick vs evakiyama! - two tough losses last week, think i'll lean eva just because i like the support on kingpins a mite better
SS PU: Spitfire vs sky - Spitfire Will Be Bolded Until Proven Otherwise
SM PU: Terracotta vs robjr - rob's coming off a pretty effortless win and terra did lose to gondra last week, although i don't think this is entirely cut and dry.
ORAS PU: Vulpix03 vs Greybaum - pix didn't really get to prove much w his w1 opponent, but he did win
BW PU: Accel vs keshba54 - "A win is a win." - Sun Tzu, Art Of War.
DPP PU: SFG vs Hachimaki - Hachimaki got his teeth kicked in vs heysup and is right back into it vs someone who actually knows how to DPP PU
ADV PU: mint yerb vs Plague - plague is prob bolded until they lose or bring some turbo ass
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Slikkles vs DugZa - doug played last week which prevents me from giving the bold to slikkles on the merit of being an active scheduler

SV PU: axzel vs Scarf Kricketune - two wins so i'll just go off of vibes
SV PU: platum vs Big tony 2014 - very interesting matchup here, platum definitely has a certain style of team he prefers and tony is the kind of guy to cook up some major crack in response to a player like that. we'll see if he hits his mark.
SV PU: xsus vs Xiri - kyuss had a bit of an icky game last week where things really went downhill fast, but i do think he's more consistent than xiri
SS PU: shaneghoul vs Nuxl - both had kinda lucky wins so i'll just go based on experience
SM PU: DD Joe vs Hacker - joe had a pretty solid comeback (even if it was enabled by mipc choking) and hacker loaded HO into stall after the week was over and clicked x in under 30 turns
ORAS PU: crow crumbs vs Feen - Sure Man, I Guess
BW PU: neomon vs Bughouse - bughouse got pretty robbed so i'll give it to him
DPP PU: LessThanThreeMan vs Heysup - feels pretty solid even if dpp is dpp
ADV PU: Quarante8 vs Mielke - bolding mielke for the fortitude he showed from last week
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): OranBerryBlissey10 vs xcx - we're gonna see a killer sv and ss and then probably one of the sm games of all time

SS PU: MemphisDepay vs Taka - idk, i feel a little more inclined to believe in memphis
SM PU: sugar ovens vs Gondra - under the assumption gondra does NOT bring darkvally
ORAS PU: Blue YM vs LB - knows more oras
BW PU: Cielau vs TyCarter - if i predict against tycarter i feel like i'm gonna get a phone call at work saying my family is being held for ransom
DPP PU: Lazuli vs yerdunc - lazuli looked pretty bad last week
ADV PU: Parpar vs twinkay - parpar has the insane aura buff for being the only member of his team last week who managed to hold the line
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Metallica126 vs Drud - this should be a really good series, assuming last werk was just a speed hump for metallica though and he'll be back in form before long

Well...i see no signs of zoroarks losing this week.

ORAS PU: Vulpix03 vs greybaum - Bolding Vulpix because of experience in the tier but as i said last week, grey has that flashy factor with his building in general, very exciting ideas generally but much like myself...he has to keep the kitchen in a mild temperature.
ORAS PU: crow crumbs vs Feen - History says that Feen wins this one but i know that bird is really hungry for some wins so i'm gonna give the game to the one that's hungrier rn.
ORAS PU: Blue YM vs LB - This is prolly the mu i'm most excited about, i found out that Blue YM has a deep bag when it comes to creative ideas but LB played solid last week but was just barely outmatched by a very solid player, giving this one to LB on a very slim advantage.

Hopefully we see some solid games!

SS PU: Spitfire vs sky - baller matchup, spitfire been that guy that farms this pool all the time every year tho so like yea I expect more of that lol, also sky started off the szn rocky asf last week with some legitimately quite comical luck against him
ORAS PU: Vulpix03 vs greybaum - greybaum got trucked last week... tough. roselia went down for him and then legitimately the entire team got folded by peli which is like insanio. meanwhile pix somehow won vs a band jask with bug resist monferno last week so like... yeah he gets the nod
BW PU: Accel vs keshba54 - bw pu
DPP PU: SFG vs hachimaki - heysup put hachimaki in a blender last week running some crazy shit while sfg just won a regular looking game of dpp, no reason i see to doubt sfg this week
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Slikkles vs dugza - slikkles honestly didn't even have that bad a showing last week considering he was swinging vs drud, french goat will do the thing eventually, he will be losing by a margin of 8 +/- 2 mons

SS PU: shaneghoul vs Nuxl - both coming off pretty solid ws last week, but nuxl DID have to dodge like 3 sings and a zard cane in the process sooo i will favor shane just bc it was a cleaner win

BW PU: neomon vs Bughouse - bw pu
DPP PU: LessThanThreeMan vs Heysup - lttm looked rusty as hell last week and heysup played out his mind, this feels like a pretty straightforward bold to me

SS PU: MemphisDepay vs Taka - i dont think memphis like looked particularly BAD last week, and taka is still like getting a grip on this tier so favor to the guy who has played more
ORAS PU: Blue YM vs LB - LB had no business losing that game last week and that is definitely a big influence for my bolding blue ym this week, that being said blue ym himself was in the kitchen trying some stuff with that non choiced dog last week and idk if thats exactly the waves...

DPP PU: Lazuli vs yerdunc - quite frank, no clue who yerdunc is, lazuli is my manager person for dpppl and we in semis rn, they get the association buff
Bo3 (SV/SS/SM): Metallica126 vs Drud - idk i wasn't exactly moved by anything meta was doing in any tier last week, he has the past results proving he CAN carry in all of these gens but he's so prone to tilt and after a 1-9 showing week 1? i am unconvinced... also drud is like, maybe the best old gens pu player overall in the tour? so like hard to not bold him in ANY situation
