===================
Crucibelle has a difficult time finding a place in the metagame. Its STAB combination is walled by the tier's multiple defensive Steel-types and it often lacks the power to make significant progress against a team. However, it has a niche as a Trick + Choice Scarf user that can bait in bulky Steel-types like Corviknight and Equilibra and cripple them, as well as being able to revenge kill Volcarona at +1 Speed. Rock Slide takes up the first moveslot, allowing Crucibelle to act as a solid check to Volcarona and offensive Tornadus-T. Stone Edge can be run here to OHKO Tornadus-T, but its poor accuracy usually makes Rock Slide the better option. Trick is the main attraction of this set, used to bait in and cripple Equilibra and Toxapex. U-turn is used to keep momentum and regain health through Regenerator. Gunk Shot hits the multitude of Fairy-types in the tier, reaching OHKOs on Jumbao and Kerfluffle, forcing out Calm Mind Clefable, and spreading Poison to wear down the opposition. If checking Fairy-types is not needed, Stealth Rock or Toxic Spikes can be run depending on the team's needs.

Pokemon such as Rillaboom, Jumbao, and Tomohawk that appreciate Crucibelle checking Volcarona and Tornadus-T make great partners. Crucibelle's ability to cripple Toxapex and Equilibra with Trick makes Clefable and Heatran solid teammates. Crucibelle makes for a solid addition to most pivot cores, so Pokemon like Zeraora, Krilowatt, Scizor, and Slowking all make for excellent choices. Slowking deserves special mention for getting Crucibelle in safely via Teleport while also providing Future Sight support. Pokemon such as Kyurem, Dragapult, and Weavile appreciate Crucibelle pivoting them in and forcing out Fairy-types.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
===================
Using Black Sludge over Choice Scarf further cripples defensive Steel-types while giving Crucibelle a better matchup against Zapdos; however, this severely worsens the Volcarona matchup for Crucibelle, as +1 Psychic will almost always OHKO it.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Ground-types**: Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Equilibra, Excadrill, Nidoking, and Landorus-T all make for good Crucibelle counters. Nidoking, Excadrill, and Landorus-T deserve special mention, as they don't mind receiving a Choice Scarf as much as the other two.

**Steel-types**: Heatran, Melmetal, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and Corviknight all can sponge any of Crucibelle's attacks while forcing it out. However, none of these Pokemon appreciate receiving a Choice Scarf.

**Physically Defensive Pivots**: Slowbro, Tomohawk, and Toxapex can easily take any hit Crucibelle throws at them and force it out. Slowbro and Tomohawk do need to be wary of Gunk Shot's poison chance, however.

**Strong Priority Users**: Users of strong priority such as Rillaboom, Scizor, and Urshifu-R force Crucibelle out without allowing it to safely bring in a check via U-turn.

Rock Stab should be Slot 1 as this mon exists to cteam volc and cannot do that without rock stab. Move Gunk to Slot 4.

Crucibelle has a difficult time finding a place in the metagame. However, it has a niche as a trick scarf user that can bait in Equilibra and cripple it. Also Cteaming Volc. Gunk Shot is Crucibelle's main STAB option, and hits the multitude of Fairy -ypes in the tier, reaching OHKOs on Jumbao and Kerfluffle. Reshuffle to reflect slot 1 rock slide. Trick is the main attraction of this set, used to bait in and cripple Equilibra and Toxapex. U-Turn is used to keep momentum and regain health through Regenerator. The final slot is usually taken up by Rock Slide, allowing Crucibelle to act as a solid check to Volcarona and offensive Tornadus-T. If checking those two Pokémon is not needed, Stealth Rock or Toxic Spikes can be run depending on the team's needs.

Pokémon such as Rillaboom, Jumbao, and Tomohawk that appreciate Volcarona and Tornadus-T checked make great partners for Crucibelle. Crucibelle's ability to cripple Toxapex and Equilibra with Trick makes Clefable and Heatran solid teammates. Crucibelle makes for a solid addition to most pivot cores, so Pokémon like Zeraora, Krilowatt, Scizor, and Slowking all make for excellent choices. Zeraora deserves special mention, as it really appreciates Toxapex and Equilibra losing their items. Pokemon such as Kyurem, Dragapult, and Weavile that enjoy being brought in via pivot appreciate Crucibelle's ability to force out Fairy-types.

We have other options now, mention Stone edge and Black Sludge Trick.

**Bulky Ground-Types**: Pokémon such as Hippowdon, Equilibra, Excadrill, and Landorus-T all make for good Crucibelle counters. Excadrill and Landorus-T deserve special mention as they do not dislike getting tricked a Choice Scarf as much as the other two. Make this ground types and give Nidoking a heavy mention.

**Physically Defensive Pivots**: Slowbro, Tomohawk, and Corviknight can easily take any hit Crucibelle throws at them and force it out. Slowbro and Tomohawk do need to be wary of Gunk Shot's Poison chance, however. Imo mention Melm and Heatran, it means that if you ever attack its gg.

**Nidoking**: Nidoking can come in on any of Crucibelle's attacks and doesn't necessarily mind getting tricked a Choice Scarf. It further forces it out, allowing it to click any coverage move it chooses.

**Strong Priority Users**: Users of strong priority such as Rillaboom and Urshifu-R force Crucibelle out without U-Turning, not allowing it to safely bring in a check via U-Turn.

Crucibelle has a difficult time finding a place in the metagame why? imo this feels overly blunt and ambiguous since you don't elaborate, so just briefly give one or two reasons for why cruci struggles. However, it has a niche as a trick scarf user that can bait in bulky Steel-types like Corviknight and Equilibra libra's prob the biggest target but it's not the only target and cripple it them, while also being able to revenge kill Volcarona at +1 Speed. Crucibelle is also the best Volcarona counter in the tier i think this is overstating things a bit - cruci is a great rkiller but can't switch in safely nor beat it if volc is beyond +1. The first slot is taken up by Rock Slide, allowing Crucibelle to act as a solid check to Volcarona and offensive Tornadus-T. Trick is the main attraction of this set, used to bait in and cripple Equilibra and Toxapex. U-Turn is used to keep momentum and regain health through Regenerator. Gunk Shot is Crucibelle's secondary STAB option, and hits the multitude of Fairy-types in the tier, reaching OHKOs on Jumbao and Kerfluffle, forcing out Calm Mind Clefable, and spreading Poison to wear down the opposition. If checking Fairy-types is not needed, Stealth Rock or Toxic Spikes can be run depending on the team's needs.

Crucibelle makes for a solid addition to most pivot cores, so Pokémon like Zeraora, Krilowatt, Scizor, and Slowking all make for excellent choices. Zeraora deserves special mention, as it really appreciates Toxapex and Equilibra losing their items feels slightly out of place to emphasize zera since it can remove their items on its own anyways and them being tricked can even annoy zera because that means it can't just spam knock off. i think you could add a sentence instead about how slowking can use teleport to get it in safely vs tornadus-t and calm mind clef and supports it with future sight . Pokemon such as Kyurem, Dragapult, and Weavile that enjoy being brought in via pivot appreciate Crucibelle's ability to force out Fairy-types.

still needs the other options section here w/ stone edge (always guarantees an ohko on torn-t) and black sludge trick (still cripples steels while having more defensive utility against stuff like zap)

A set with running Black Sludge over Choice Scarf can be run to further cripple defensive Steel-types while giving Crucibelle a better matchup against Zapdos; however, this severely worsens the Volcarona matchup for Crucibelle as +1 Psychic will almost always OHKO it. has an 87.5% chance to OHKO. volc doesnt have a single set/ev spread so this calc wouldn't apply to all of them, wording it like this helps it be more broadly applicable despite being slightly more vague

Nidoking, Excadrill, and Landorus-T deserve special mention as they do not dislike getting tricked a Choice Scarf as much as the other two. Nidoking in particular can actually benefit from getting tricked and hard punish the opposing team for it. i think you can cut this out; losing life orb and not being able to change coverage is still a massive blow to nidoking, and because it's also not the most common mon to begin with, it should be fine to not emphasize it as much

**Steel-types**: steel types check cruci just as well as ground types do, and because there are so many, i think you could stand to separate them from the "physically defensive pivots" section -- move tran, melmetal, and corv to here, probably add ferro and skarm too, and just do the same thing that you did above for the ground types where you're like "these mons dont love getting tricked but theyre still pretty good counters"

**Physically Defensive Pivots**: Slowbro, Tomohawk, Heatran, Melmetal, and Corviknight can easily take any hit Crucibelle throws at them and force it out. Slowbro and Tomohawk do need to be wary of Gunk Shot's Poison chance, however. (change accordingly with the above comment, i think pex is also a good addition here now that tran/melm/corv would be removed)

**Strong Priority Users**: Users of strong priority such as Rillaboom, Scizor, and Urshifu-R force Crucibelle out without U-Turning, not allowing it to safely bring in a check via U-Turn.
