Raindrops keep fallin on my head. (RD teams are popular these days)

This is a team I've been using on shoddy for a couple weeks and it seems to do pretty good for itself sometimes. Other times it ends up fighting battles that seem lost from the very beginning so I figure that there must be some flaws somewhere that someone around here will be able to point out.

So here we go:

Bronzong @ Damp Rock
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/152 Atk/8 Def/96 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Rain Dance
- Hypnosis
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion

Pretty standard leading bronzong, sleep something then set up RD, then either explode or switch (if someone on my team can easily switch in).

Ludicolo (M) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 152 HP/104 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
- Surf
- Rain Dance

My main special sweeper, can refresh rain in case it goes down. This guy's rain-boosted surfs are insane, and he rarely gets outsped so long as rain is up.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/80 Def/176 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Thunder
- Zen Headbutt
- Rain Dance

A mixed Jirachi, I put him in there to solve some problems I was having with skarmbliss. Can set up a quick rain in a pinch and then abuses serene grace with 100% accurate thunder to paraflinch everything to death. Also supports the team with wish (although for some reason, I rarely manage to successfully use a wish on anyone but Jirachi).

Jolteon (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunder
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt

Sweeper jolt, people never seem to expect this, makes a very nice late-game sweeper after all electric resists are taken out. He also makes a nice fall back in the cases where I can't manage to get RD off (since he's fast and hits hard with no setup). Also handy for absorbing those electric attacks people are so fond of aiming at water types.

Kabutops (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 32 HP/252 Atk/96 Def/128 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- X-Scissor
- Swords Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge

This guy is a monster, the usual plan is to get him in on one of the fire attacks inevitably aimed at Bronzong or Jirachi, then SD and let him wreak havoc 'till it stops raining.

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Roar
Provides spin support because otherwise, toxic spikes will end many of my sweeps prematurely. Also good for phasing setup leads (*coughNinjaskcough*) that bronzong would be otherwise powerless to stop.

My biggest problem here seems to be Blissey (CM Bliss especially). In fact, many defensive teams give me trouble since they tend to stall out my precious rain turns.

Other than that, my only issue is other weather teams who are far far too protective of their weather inducers. (which I think is actually an extension of my problem with defensive teams in general)

MixDra can 2KO Blissey with Waterfall. But getting it in is the problem. It would make a great wall breaker though. Hmmm. Looks pretty solid though. Also Gengar/ Mismagius could block Donphan's spiin attempts easily and is immune to EQ.

Meh. I aplogise in advance if I say something stupid.

You could consider Stealth Rock over Hypnosis on Bronzong, quite a few of the tactics in this team involve the opponent switching (like when Kabutops sets up). Seems solid otherwise though. Maybe a different nature on Jirachi so you can get more Zen Headbutt damage?

Hypnosis helps set up. WAAAAAY too good to dump.

I would keep Hypnosis, and Dance once they're asleep. Personally, I would use a Kindgra on this team, to abuse swift swim. And Blissey doesn't seem to be a problem. Kabutops, Donphan, and Jairachi (Zen Headbutt=Physical) I would put somthing normally weak to fire, to take advantage of fire's decresed power.

Otherwise, solid team, much better than my own RD team.

Where would I fit a kingdra though?

The problem with using Jirachi to kill Blissey is that he can only do it with massive hax. Kingdra probably would have the same problem with Bliss that Kabutops does, namely, not killing it fast enough and getting paralyzed or thunderbolted then letting their next poke switch in and set up.

Kingdra takes Ludicolo's spot. Jolteon can handle other waters fine.

Mixdra 2HKOs bliss with prediction, and its not hard to do. One waterfall disables her from the match.

Your Kabutops wants more speed. Jolly and 236 EVs reaches 280, to beat lucario, who will otherwise set up and rape you. 280 speed is important, because you cannot depend on the rain always being up. Pluse, you are sure to outspeed everything in the game with it up, and not lose to a random scarfgar or something.

Something needs Stealth Rock. It turns a lot of ur 2HKOs into OHKOs, and will save you from random sashers.
