Randomizer Nuzlockes (6th Gen)??

Has anyone ever done one of these in 6th gen? I'm seeing them (sparingly) on YouTube. I'm in the middle of one in Soul Silver:

From what I've learned so far, it's pretty impossible to do something like this with ORAS or X/Y. But I still see people making them. How?! How are they randomizing these files, or even playing them at all?
